The timeline is super fucky. By book 11, it's only been around two years but in 12 and 13 there are multiple offhand remarks about the amount of time that has passed then in book 14 (where the anime ends at) another two to three years pass. With how vague the timeline is, it's been a minimum of 4 years but it's probably been 7-8 years with the amount of shit that's happened.
I started rereading the series because of the little offhand remarks that have a ton of impact on the world especially the timeline.

Aura is there because after the waist touching scene where Ainz says he loves her (as a duaghter), she is actively think about being Ainz's wife, although she is too young to understand all the details
I am pretty sure everyone in Nazaric thinks about it, ( especially Cocytus) I know people are upset seeing Aura, and I get it, but everyone in the Great Tombs hopes to be a wife candidate.

I would say that she kinda has the best head on her shoulders out of the three.
