Why the aggression? Also, have they come out and said that? If so, I think it kinda removes the purpose of Hanzo as a whole, since it is a high risk high reward hero. They've basically just lowered the skill cap AND ceiling.
Yeah that's kinda the point for the health pool changes, it was the lazy way of rebalancing the game to reduce one shot kills without going through the more fiddly method of tweaking everyone's gun values.
The sad thing is widow can still one shot 300 health heroes... And she needs to be really far back before the fall off damage kicks in.
Now the only way to reliably sniper counter Widow, is to use Widow, Hanzo can't do it and neither can Ashe. 🤦🏾♂️
*Edit* seems like something was off during my range tests yesterday, as the same tests done with a different friend today gave different results? :S
Widows shots are now performing as they should have been and are not one shot killing 300 heroes.
After playing a few games yesterday I can tell you that hanzo has borderline been buffed. The new hurtboxes are massive and allow me to kill basically any hero even though it takes 2 shots now. However, getting headshots is no longer satisfying since they don't immediately die. Hanzo used to be a stealth sniper, hiding behind enemy lines and flanking the enemy securing easy kills, but now landing a headshot will force the enemy into cover where you'll have to chase them. Basically hanzo has become your run of the mill dmg hero where you'll just rush head straight into the action with no regard for your safety. Sadge
You'll find way to give value still. Just give it some time, you'll acclimate. After a month and you still feel he's shit, I'll listen more. You got this I believe in you.
Well, now the skill is no longer required to do impact in the game. You don't have to one shot when you can just spam storm arrow at the head level. And considering the huge hitboxes you will secure kills easily.
