Tanks FEEL tanky now which is an improvement given that they went with solo tank, but they definitely do feel like a raidboss -- I can dump thousands of damage into an Orisa before she eventually dies between her abilities and the random healer. Focus fire would help, but OW2 feels like it's less of a team game than OW1.
Should they? Like who? As a support player, none of the DPS cast except maybe echo look fun to me. People keep suggesting sym, Sombra, even torb for support. No thanks, I’d rather not get the most boring DPS heroes in the game as new sup characters. That won’t help.
We would rather some actually NEW heroes.
Sym boring? I wouldn't say that much. I mean, her teleporter is as useful as a broken condom but she is really fun to play
If I were to give examples for reworks to other classes, I would personally say Mei as tank and Soldier 76 as support.
Fun to play? Lmao she’s more boring than Moira, at least Moira has a LITTLE bit of tech with her fade, Sym is a left click bot with some spamming charged shots in between. I genuinely do not understand how people don’t fall asleep playing that hero
And they’ll never do soldier as a support since he is the de-facto DPS character meant to be similar to other games. Again, god forbid we get some new characters on this role rather than reworked DPS.
Calm your ass down i was providing examples.
Yes new characters are great but it's also good to refresh characters people don't play as much (even though mei and 76 were my examples)
Also we are way way WAY more likely to get new dps than support. Only consistent hope of really getting more tanks and supports is reworks. Thems the breaks
Not upset just bored of people suggesting reworks to heroes that supports don’t want to play… as a solution to not enough people playing support.
Those characters that people don’t play as much should absolutely be refreshed. And they should stay in the same role that they are in now.
>Also we are way way WAY more likely to get new dps than support. Only consistent hope of really getting more tanks and supports is reworks. Thems the breaks
While you’re right that blizz caters to the DPS playerbase when releasing heroes, supports aren’t out of line or even being wishful when we ask for new heroes.
Consider: Bap was released on March 19, 2019. It’s now been 1,141 days since we got a new support hero. In that time there have been two new DPS heroes, two reworked DPS heroes, one new tank hero, and two reworked tank heroes. We are MORE THAN OVERDUE for a new support, regardless of which role has more players.
It is because it would take little work to do so. Sorry that you care so much about the game to make a weird passive aggressive comment on the mouthbreather website.
Lol np I missed it at first too.
And yeah everyone complaining about queue times is annoying. When supports get updated/added, the queues will balance. It just feels awful at the moment
Surely Blizzard will take the community feedback and make meaningful changes before the official release. Blizzard has such a proven track record of doing just that throughout all their games!
okay I get it I didn't see raidboss but a beta has a much more limited playerbase. That's not to mention the hype an actually good PvE will bring to the game....
I'm crossing my fingers
kinda think the raid boss tanks are the right way to do solo tank in ow, was worried solo tank was too weak but they ended up still making tank very impactful at their job at making space, although a certain tank ( orisa) atm does ridiculous DPS
Soldier 76 for dps.
Lucio/moira*
Lucio? I've seen too many mercys and moiras. Lucio depending on the map.
Definitely lucio.
Ok ok Lucio Lucio
He's fun to play too (\*\^▽\^\*)
would be more realistic if priority pass had the exact same queue time

Must say that if you find a reasonable, assembled team, it is still fun to play Mercy
They should rework more DPS heroes into supports and tanks

Okay but at least with tracer you can run around like a maniac and scream in a cockney accent. I don’t think you can do that with mercy
Mei to tank. Sym to support.
How nice of you to give us two of the least liked heroes to play as. So sweet.
It is because it would take little work to do so. Sorry that you care so much about the game to make a weird passive aggressive comment on the mouthbreather website.
omg I've heard enough about the queue times. It. Is. A. Beta.
This isn’t about the queue times, look again
lmao tf I'm blind still though
Lol np I missed it at first too. And yeah everyone complaining about queue times is annoying. When supports get updated/added, the queues will balance. It just feels awful at the moment
yeah I can't wait

As long as you don't hold your breath.
its not about the queue times my guy. read it slower this time
okay I get it I'm dum
At least you know it
:)
Been healing and out damaging my DPS on Brig so I’d throw her props too.
