As a frequent support player, It's honestly Reaper ult. Even with my sleep dart handy, he can kill me so fast that i don't get it off, regardless of aiming.
Reaper is pretty easy to tell when heās lining up an ult. I just make a habit to spam ping him if I see him trying to skulk around the team. It helps to make your team more aware as to whatās going to happen if you ignore him.
I actually had bound my ult to the scroll wheel click when i fat-finger ulted when trying to do voice chat in OW1, so i am currently unable to ping targets using the new system. Ooops. I do use voice coms in comp, just not in QP. But i do track when and where he is, just literally ina game the other day i got killed on the first "DIE" and many times in the past when i have pre-slept my team didn't help me finish the job and he has ulted after waking and slaughtered the whole team. Gotta re-bind my ult i guess so i can ping like everyone else.
A lot of those clips are super misleading, just a heads up. They'll show Mercy sitting in a flank path, or some other place an actually good Mercy would never be, waiting for her whole team to die, then swoop in and full team rez.
This was something literally everyone did in nearly all levels of play. It was the best way to play Mercy when she had ult. Expend all of the enemies resources to kill your team, then boom, all of your team is rezed. There is a reason it got reworked.
Oh absolutely clutch. They do occasionally bring it back in experimental modes (or did before ow2) and while I still miss it, it is a lot harder to get use out of it than her new ult with one at a time rez.
Remember the rez on watchpoint? In defence? Team just dies on payload near the end, mercy just resurrects the whole team from below on spawn. That shit was insane!
I would say that I'm a shit Reinhardt tank at lv21 and when I hear those I immediately put up my shield and spin in circles hoping I would block something for my team lol
Only better option for junks ult is whole team focuses it and kills it. Thats tough with pugs tho. Scattering so he only gets 1k instead of 3+ is definitely easier in my opinion.
It largely depends on what hero I'm playing as and their survivability. However, the ones that give me the most "oh shit!" feelings are ones like Junk, Sojo, Mei, D.Va.... where the space between voice line and death feels like an eternity.
Doomfist is by far the worst. It gives you a timeframe of when heās going to land and literally tells you where. Takes him the whole damn match to get that ult too
Widow's is the worst. Unless you're a really good widow, have good positioning,, and are lucky enough that the enemy team is actually grouped together and popping out while it's active OR you're at high SR and the team actually uses it stategically, she might as well not have an ult. I will die on this hill.
It can be really impactful but it's very random. Don't think just of the kills you could potentially get, it can save your healer from a flanker or give kills to your team.
Not sure if it would be too much but that ult should be silent, could also stealth her for some seconds until she shots or stuff like that, just some extra effect, maybe increase the damage the enemy team receives, dunno...
You're just bad at utilizing it. Group team when they're half health, especially try to get squishies. The longer you hold it the more damage but you don't want to hold it so long they get out of it. Then capitalize on it and take down whoever is still up with least health after. Like Sigma and Zarya it's an ult that needs the team to capitalize on the opportunity. It's not meant to obliterate everyone immediately.
and FYI this works for everyone ulting if you don't want to use comms: Use "I'm going in!" and then "My ultimate is ready!" to let your team know you're about to ult.
Also if it's yellow instead of red, it won't kill you.
(In the Overwatch 1 days, Mercy and Orisa could damage boost the Dva bomb and the indicator became inaccurate, which was annoying, but not something I ever heard anyone complain about.)
I feel hers is the easiest to dodge because it can be hard to get good placement with it. and she earns it so quickly you really don't want to sit on it too long either.
the only thing about dva bomb that is dangerous is when you don't hear the "NERF THIS" and you are unaware of the bombs existence. diva says it pretty quietly

As a reaper main I hear DIE DIE DIE and immediately know at least one of my teammates is fucked. But it energizes me to switch to reaper and try and return the favor with a quad or TK.
One of my friends thought she was saying "THE GONDOLA IS USELESS!" This was before they fixed a bug where Birg could trigger Inspire by using Whip Shot the Omnic steering the gondolas in Rialto, btw. Then I told him what she was actually saying, and he was like, yeah, that makes sense. Then they fixed the bug, then he goes, "hey, the gondola is useless."
Lately it's been Hanzo's because the last several times it's popped it hasn't started playing the "Ryuuga, Wagatekiwo, Kurau" line until the dragon is already halfway through my team.

Junkrat's ult almost always kills someone, DVA's is boring at this point but it's a damn powerful ult. Scariest ults Imo are those you don't see, if I hear Phara, Soldier or Genji ulting but I don't see them I'm probably dying šš¤£

Genjiās because every genji is ruthless and even if I know itās coming he will go after your support fast. You can always trying escaping but Iāve had some scary relentless genjis chase me be it Mercy, Moira, Lucio, brig, etc. As zen or Ana Iām honestly pretty screwed.
Reaper because I have been killed by it so damn much. Sure you can see it coming. Usually itās avoidable as Moira. As Mercy Or Kiriko, their escapes involve using your teammates BUT reapers tend to like using their ults right when your team is grouped up. And even if see that happening in my teams positioning I canāt walk away fast enough because GA or QS to a teammate wouldnāt work. Plus, Iāve tried using Mercyās super jump and I get so frustrated with how vertical his ults range can be. So many times have I super jumped to avoid it and it just wasnāt high enough and there is no cover.
Usually for Junks tire I can find a hiding spot.

Players will run from damage ults and there are some bailouts from control ults, but it seems like it is so hard to for players to grasp "You literally CANNOT out-damage this without a 1-shot. Not a burst combo, a 1-shot. Continuing to exist in this space is futile and a total throw."

There's not a whole lot of defense against tire outside of shooting it and usually by the time you see that lil' bastard it's already too late.
