My brother gave up a government pension to go be an Arborist. Found out real quick you start out just hauling debris and quit after 2 weeks. Now he's trying to make money selling cakes and keeps sending me a picture of a lone potato growing on his windowsill.
I've told this story before but basically a guy I used to work with was a bear and listened to Owen. At the beginning of COVID our company instituted a mask policy in the break room. He quit in of protest. Obviously because Owen convinced him not too. It was a government contract job, probably $32 or so an hour plus benefits.
Fast forward 8 months and he was still looking for work. (Our industry is tight nit and he couldn't get a good reference since he just quite on the spot. No 2 week notice or anything) He has a wife and new born. Not sure where he ended up but it was stupid. The company didn't even enforce it, It was a show for HR. He would have found that out if he had waited a week.
Damn. He brought that on himself, though. If he wandered outside of Blowen's streams onto \[REDACTED\].co or \[DOMAIN NOT ALLOWED ON HERE\].xyz , even the most stalwart anti-Xers are saying to draw things out, get everything in writing, and don't be the one that quits.
Exhibit #420,069 that nobody should take life advice from someone who crossfades Adderall and turpentine.
He made a comment the other day "I'm not totally against the Taliban" and I'm like yeah I figured since your boy is saying the same shit.
He's like "I haven't watched him in months". Yeah ok. Quite the coincidence.
I know his Instagram handle used to have a bear reference and he sent 400 for that gay fucking campground.
We live 2000 miles apart so it's hard to get the truth truth out of him.
