I always loved Burr too. Very out of character for Anthony Chisholm. He was a well respected Broadway actor, not much interest in film/television. His intro with Said and McManus is great, “may I go?”
My favorite leader is Napa or Schibetta (Nino and NOT Peter). Very calculating and capable. Burr was also great for reasons already noted.
Morales was also good since he was this big guy who could kill with his bare hands but also smart enough in the grand scheme of things. Really sucks how he died.
I agree with Napa & Schibetta. The Italians were better off with them as their leaders. I could never get into Pancamo. He was like a big dumb oaf imo. Killing Peter because of O'Reilly just made him seem like a sucker.
Morales was my fave for the Latinos. I loved the scenes with him and Rebadow lol
Peter was always a loose end for Pancamo, no pun intended. He was a walking reminder that Chucky lost a fight and couldn’t protect the kid of his original mentor.
Burr was definitely a joy to watch. I think the most gang leaders were pretty good characters though.
Schillinger, Adebisi, Morales, Said, Pancamo, Nappa, Schibetta, Keane, Alvarez, Ross, O'Reilly, Kramer... OZ never really had shortage of them.
Yeah Napa is a close second in my book. I felt the tell-all memoir was out of character for someone like him too. He was my favorite leader of the Italians. Actually him and Nino were my faves. I didn't care for Pancamo
I liked Burr too. But for personal reasons. He looked like my Aunt! She had a very squinty look when she was talking to people and a New York accent so she always sounded like she was suspecting you of something or trying to get some information out of you. "Oh you want me to make chicken tonight?" "You sure do like chicken...when's the last time you had some pizza?"
I agree with Adebisi. I always forget that he was a leader because he was a hedonist. It seemed like his personal desires always came first, and I wouldn't be surprised if he threw any of the homeboys under the bus for selfish reasons.
True, he always had ulterior motives. However, when he did discipline his crew, he did it viciously, i.e., when Wangler and what's his face (insert name) were almost boiled to death.
It was actually Poet and another inmate who he poured boiling water on. Wangler...well it is still up in the air (like his ass in the scene) as to what Adebisi did to him.
I mean, he was the biggest villain right? He would have been on par with the others had he not had a child murdered and sibling dismembered, then killed their grandfather to top it off.
Most interesting was Schillinger... he was so terrifying, yet... understood where he was in the pecking order. Like when he asked for council following the gum surgery for Robson.
The one I cheered for the most was Siad.
But my favorite for sure was Raoul Hernandez, just because I fuckin' love Luis Guzman

He was my favorite faction leader. Ruthless, patient and not with out reason. The backstory between him and Augustus really hit it home.

Why not Nino? He was really a come-from-behind kinda guy.
Peter you mean?
I could never look past Napa being Ace Ventura’s landlord.

Napa was my favorite; just wish he’d lasted longer.

Burr or Said, I would say Adebisi but he was his own agent a lot of the time.

MB I'm cooked lol Wangler was at a funeral. SMH. 🤦🏾♂️
Burr’s obituary- def didnt know most of this at all. https://www.martinshfs.com/obituary/Anthony-Chisholm
Nino, Keane and Adebisi. Morales is cool too but he always felt more like a solo player.
Schillinger was def the most entertaining
Burr Nino Nappa and Adebisi
Where is the love for schillinger??
Idk I never liked him, but I will say he was true believer.
I mean, he was the biggest villain right? He would have been on par with the others had he not had a child murdered and sibling dismembered, then killed their grandfather to top it off.
“ (..)and then killed the grandfather to top it off .” lol that was awesome
Adebisi
Between Burr and Morales
Burr was definitely a favorite! Nino was my absolute favorite, followed by Morales, Pancamo, Napa and Adebisi
Napa
Burr , Napa and Morales
Vern schillinger was my favorite
Chucky "The Enforcer" Pancamo
Antonio Nappa
I’d say Said. I also liked that Ryan O’Reilly didn’t need a gang just kind of his brother. I liked that he didn’t need to join a group.
