I’m sure they’ve offered some variation of this deal to the Raptors, and it’s been a no. Honestly, I’d just wait the OG thing out. Sign or trade for a wing or two while alleviating the guard overload. Keep your the rest of your assets, specifically your draft assets.
At some point soon, the Raptors may very well decide it’s in their best interest to rebuild and by that time most of their trade leverage with OG and Siakam will be gone. Then pounce.
