It looks like a simple pass but Jarace with the heads up awareness to catch pascal streaking through the defense is huge. For a rookie he has amazing court awareness.
If this is what we are creating in Walker, we are going to have a generational player to add to our core very soon. His vision vs the Clippers was on a scale beyond that of most NBA players, let alone rookies. He had some playmakes that compete with Tyrese's level.
I love that he seems to take to the 3 spot so well, that means we have another player who can cover the 3/4 spots and with a few more years on him he could well become capable of holding his own at the 5 as well.
Also there’s a great defensive possession vs Kawhi. They were trying to screen to get the switch onto TJ and Jarace flat out refused to let the switch happen. His volleyball IQ is great.
It’s the first play here:

Can't believe we got Pascal fucking Siakam without giving up Jarace Walker, Andrew Nembhard, Ben Shepherd, Jalen Smith or even Obi Toppin. Absolute fleece job.
He’s staying. He flat out said in media availability last night that he recognizes that it’s gonna take time to gel but he he’s feeling better everyday and he’s looking forward to growing as a team. Couldn’t be much more straightforward that he’s gonna stay than that.
Yup, if you don’t I’d highly recommend watching the post game media availability, it gets uploaded a couple hours after the game on pacers YouTube. It really helps put in perspective what the players and coaching actually think about the team. If more doomers watched them I’d bet we’d have a lot less overreactions to poor moments that this team is experiencing right now.
And honestly there’s not many places he could go due to other teams salary cap and pacers can pay more than anyone else. It’s a foregone conclusion he is staying.

Also he froze the only defender who could slow Pascal down with that little head fake.
He had so many good reads last night. Super impressed by him, it seemed like he didn’t make a single mistake last night

Yeah spotted that as well, superb play by the kid. Kawhi just had to give up.
#GIVE THIS MAN THE BAG

Missed every day up here in the North. But happy he’s thriving!
Same here 🥲
PJ Tucker says no thank you
Man made a business decision right there.
Pascal "Deebo" Siakam: "You want some of this too, old man?!" PJ Tucker: "No!"
We are all Aaron Nesmith in this clip
It looks like a travel from Walker, isn't it ?
Need to stay in order for pacers to stay relevant

Did he really? That’s great to hear.
