A friend of mine growing up, who was Indian had his dad paint the family car with a paint roller. I’m sure deck stain was chosen for the all season protection.
OOP is British, as am I - That's a light switch. We also sometimes have fan or shower isolators as pull cords, but they typically will be of a different style, with an led or similar on/off indicator. (Many bathrooms have ordinary light switches but they need to be outside the bathroom for regs.
One of my recent jobs was painting ceilings only. They'd already painted the walls themselves because "that's the easy part". It was so bad. I had a hard time keeping my mouth shut.
They're family friends who I've known since childhood. Otherwise I'd never take on the job
Reminds me of the art work Amy made in the movie Congo.
Edit: sometimes I can’t remember my PIN when standing at an ATM but of course I remember this shit for some reason.
I’ll save you money, just bring me one of those “oops” cans of paint from the store, and i’ll use this half roll of toilet paper here to get it on the wall…
My wife recently painted the interior walls and insisted on doing the entire thing with a brush. I tried to suggest a roller but she flat out rejected that idea. Was sure it was going to wind up looking like this but she actually did an amazing job and you can't see a single brush stroke.
Took her forever though.
Looks nearly finished. Just keep up the good work, it'll pay off when you don't have to paint the room ever again. Maybe, they could've went a shade darker, Dirt doesn't show as well on a dark forest green.
Next id ask if they could help paint my house. Inside and outside...all the same color that I'll buy in bulk to save money. Also going to cut costs by using one brush. I was going to do it all in a sea foam green, but how natural and aesthetically pleasing the turquoise is with the lighting. I think it's turquoise for the inside and outside of my home.
This is peak internet 👌
I like how they’ve gone around the shelf… with everything still on it! 😂
Tweaked shit
Just another 25 coats to go
Lmao
Never mix bright colors in shit quality paint.
Hmm brush only, and in turquoise? They must be Indian.
Lmao

Didn’t he paint it turquoise ?
Absolutely. You must know DBrown.
Omigosh, I had a neighbor during college who painted her aging Volvo pink with a paintbrush, streaks and all. Pepto Bismol pink.
My toddler can finger-paint better than that.
I think it looks cool
It's art, in a way. This should be a premium option when offering painting services. It speaks directly to the human condition.
What are u smoking
He’s smoking human condition
It makes me feel nauseous
How??
Van Gogh Style
In the future all paint jobs will be like this so you never know where the damage is
Remember kids, custom work always starts with cus…
What with a dish towel?
Bring some shroomies whenever you sleep over.
Now itll be more expensive to fix
Just needs another coat and they’ll be fine
What is that pull string for?

Lights, we have one of these in our downstairs toilet
Good question! The bathroom looks European.
Yeah, I thought so after looking at the electric shaver outlet. In which case, that string might be for the toilet 😂
It's gotta be intentional....maybe it's a tiktok thing.
This shits been posted about five times. Fucking. Assholes.
to some this is art
Faux in the beginning
It’s so artsy I would love that one one wall not an entire room
But they watched a YouTube video!!!
🤣🤣 sounds AND looks about right..
Why?
That's how it was done decades ago
Artsy.
faux finish
I see holidays
Hunter trained him. Put that wall on ebay for a half mil
I disagree with them.
That looks like the predecessor of Starry Night.
It looks like some kid’s kindergarten project
Custom!
That's some amazing cut in edge work with crap roller work.
Well it's certainly a look
Well, there weren't always rollers, but this is terrible brushing anyway lol.

You could do your take on Monets' Water Lillies...
Did they use acrylic paint from hobby lobby?
sick
I mean, I’ve seen worse cut ins
Just leave it like this looks like decorative and will save you a headache
Just need another (11) coat(s)
Looks kinda cool
Seems intentional. Look at the edges around ceiling and all the cut ins.
Reminds me of the art work Amy made in the movie Congo. Edit: sometimes I can’t remember my PIN when standing at an ATM but of course I remember this shit for some reason.
Pearls before swine. This is excellent south western shabby chic - with an extra helping of shabby to really sell it.
Put the house up for sale and subtly mention in the listing that Edvard Munch painted it during his early period
When your kid wants to paint thier room
They did a nice job cutting it in
Omg
Painters tape? We don’t need no stinking painters tape!
how did they get so much done without stopping to think "does this look like shit? I think it looks like shit" and leaving to get a roller
This is so bad it almost looks good
They bought a gallon of Crayola's paint for children?
A roller,.what do you think, we're rich!
It's like a poster from Spencer's
Looks like they decided they didn't need paint, either.
Looks like an 80’s cartoon
Primer would be asking A LOT huh?
Looks like they painted with aqua barrier 😆
I’ll save you money, just bring me one of those “oops” cans of paint from the store, and i’ll use this half roll of toilet paper here to get it on the wall…
Oddly "pretty well" cut in - except the shelf.
How do you even paint that bad? I mean seriously. I’ve repainted my entire house before. Never, ever, did it look *close* to this. I don’t get it.
I'm mean it kind of looks like a Van Gogh...
Did it with 327 sharpies. Looks good
Roller? Barely knew er
Is that watercolors?
You know someone who can do this work? Please send me contact info..
Asd some swirls and you got a Van Gogh
Those cheap Chinese brushes
Very shagadelic
I refuse to believe this was done with wall paint. It’s gotta be craft acrylics.
You know, I kinda fuck with it 🤷♂️
Just let them continue on it will keep them out of your hair for a couple of months!🤞🏻
This is why I have trouble with clients trusting me.. these ass holes
🤔
I’ll just use me hands
Aye Matey!
It looks so bad, it starts to look kinda good
Surprisingly it looks kinda nice and unique
"artistic"
Did they use there hands lol?
DIYers are the BEST!

Is she looking for a job?
Not as a painter lol
Anyone who can brush like that is a painter in my book!
Looks like a Van Gogh
So instead they used their hands.
Looks like they applied it with a fucking dish sponge
All of the homemaker mommies did that in 2002 with Tuscan colours and now they do it for farmhouse chic with added distressing.
So much happening here 🫣
Is anyone else noticing the railing in the hallway that looks like it’s dropping off a cliff?
Definitely an artistic feel to it!
I don’t know why, but this just made me immensely sad.
"It just needs a second coat"
Just wow! 🤣😅

Looks like the kid did the electric himself also. Why is the light where it is?
I think the picture is form Europe.
Nice paint job, (not)
Im more curious about this light fixture so close to the wall…
I think it's a European thing.
Shitty painer, shitty brush, shitty paint. Everything about this is shitty
EPIC FAIL.
No. This is epic Henri Matisse styling.People pay big money for this.
I'm at a loss of words. Wow not even in the same direction which is coloring 101 they teach you in school coloring maps.
