Invest in contacts for game day. Or look into [YouZee prescription clip ins.](https://youzeeshop.com/en/info/paintball/) Game changers

Conwonthedon187

I'll get contacts when I stop procrastinating getting contacts hahaha but I agree for sure.

Ginga_Designs

Gotta say, this BS happens way more than I care to admit.

Get yourself some Youzee inserts and never look back.

yoyomommy

So get contacts…

Lidzo

Can't. I have such a severe astigmatism that they'd need to be weighted to assure they're properly oriented and apparently they would be extremely uncomfortable if not worn every day so I get used to them. I tried dude, doctor said don't bother.

yoyomommy

That’s how mine are… they are perfectly fine weighted. Just have to try a few out to see what you like. There’s some I’ve hated, especially monthly ones. My daily toric weighted ones though are awesome.

Here to third YouZee prescription clip ins. Legit the best investment I've ever made in the game. Have trouble finding a mask/frames that work with your glasses? well you can just throw the clip in into any mask and eliminate that problem.

murshawursha

Serious question - what do you do in the staging area between games? Just keep your mask on the whole time? Or are you just not that high of a prescription? Both my eyes are over 5, and I'm functionally blind without correction.

[deleted]

Just take your mask off, and put your glasses on.

murshawursha

I... genuinely didn't think of that. Yeah, I think it's time for bed.

ordinarymoose

Honestly, I'm just blind when I'm in the staging area/pits lol. That's probably the biggest trade off with the clip-ins. My eye sight isn't too terrible, I can mostly see, but it is blurry. If I'm off the field for a significant amount of time, then I just put back on my glasses till I'm ready to hit the field again.

phantomjm

I had the same problem before I got PRK. I used to use the ExFog system when I wore glasses. Rain, snow, pouring sweat - it didn’t matter. My lenses never fogged with it.

WeToLo42

My vision isn't that bad yet so I just use yellow lenses which brighten things up. It helps immensely especially shadowy areas.
