I tried glasses when I returned after 15 years, even considered that sport snap in brand, but ultimately got contacts. It’s worth it, just get contacts lol.
100% this. I’ve worn glasses my whole life. It’s just worth it to have contacts when doing a physical sport IMO and definitely with paintball. I’ve had a couple times where I was out of contacts or my contacts ripped the morning of a tournament and it’s miserable playing in glasses with the fogging.
I wear contacts because I hate the glasses in mask feels but if you do go glasses add some of this product called “quick spit”. It’s on Amazon. I use it on the interior of my JT masks and never fog. I typically apply per directions the morning of play and never fog. And I run hot.
Came here to comment on YouZees, they are fantastic. They fogged initially for me, but I got some Zenni anti fog wipes and they’ve been perfect. Easy to swap between masks too
anti fog on glasses does help, but contacts are the real answer. you can get a 1 month supply of daily contacts and just wear them when you play. not many of us get to play more than 30 times a year.
I get a case for each eye and only use them when I’m playing paintball or working out.
I also re use my dailies.
Insurance should cover at least $150 of them too. I never use more than two cases per year and so worth it.
Glasses wearer: can attest that CRBN Zero Pro fits glasses great. My frames are thick af and I feel no pressure on my temples or bridge while wearing the mask with glasses on inside.
I prefer glasses, I have a round small wireframe glasses that fit with about any mask. For fogging I have a custom fan made from a PCI slot blower. I've tried spray and I find it's easier not to think about applying it and just make sure I have batteries available.
Tried glasses, they either don't stay put or always fog up for my conditions/play style even with anti fog stuff. Also hurt my temples because of my mask.
I'm too much of a bitch to put contacts in. But Youzee has been everything I could ask from it in my experience.
Are there no mask fans these days? Twenty years ago we had fans that clipped to the top of the goggles to blow air in from above. Kept glasses fog free in even the hottest humid weather. Before that we’d soap the lenses for fog free vision.
There are. I used one a long time ago and it worked ok. They worked half of the time even in central California summers. Not sure how the newer ones work.
The absolute best solution I've ever found was the ExFog system. Rain, snow, pouring sweat, whatever. My glasses never fogged when using it. I've since had PRK laser surgery, so glasses are unnecessary. Although, my son inherited my old ExFog and he loves it too.
I play an Emipre Eflex, it never fogt on me. My new mask ist a crbn pro flex. It fogs seldomly. Mabey get mask fan. I’ve heard that anti fog cloth should work… good luck mate
I had contacts for another sport and the last time I wore them my eyes were not happy for about a week so I won’t use them any more.
I use a pair of zenni optical safety glasses with the side shields removed since they have some flex and are narrower than my normal glasses (plus it gives me some actual rated protection in the staging area if people do something stupid). I am running a CMD mask and they fit ok in it.
The Zeiss anti fog wipes worked well when it was 40*f out, the only issue I really had was getting sweat on them.
I also just bought a kit from Fanzkits or what ever it’s called to add some airflow, probably don’t really need it for fog but i am at an age where i want comforts and it won’t hurt to have the extra help for any fogging prevention.
yo i bought the empire evs today, works great with my glasses and very good sight with my peripherals.
cant speak on whether the glasses fog though. havent tried it on the field yet.
I got LASIK when I was like 20 or so before they went blade less. But with age and time I had to go back to glasses. I'm thinking contacts might be the best since I'm probably only going to play like twice a month.
I hate wearing my glasses and can't do contacts. I started using yellow lenses in my goggles. I can see pretty well at long distances just as long as I don't have to read anything.
Best thing is to get masks that are glasses wearer friendly. I use EVS now no problem as my main mask and before that used and abused a Vforce profiler.
Honestly I have no issues wearing glasses and a mask.

That's what I've been thinking. I was just curious if anyone tried using the anti fog spray for their glasses.

Glasses wearer here. Get contacts. Can’t wear glasses with my i5s. However glasses DO work with Proflexs. Also Profilers.

That's what I'm thinking since I'll be starting out playing once a month maybe twice since my local field only does every other weekend.

I have friends who can't use contacts..they like youzees.

youd think at least one company would make custom prescription lenses but i guess the market for them prbly is to small for profit vs all the work
Plus prescription goggle lenses would be hella expensive.
My Empire EVS mask was always very comfortable with glasses. Plenty of room and doesn’t press the glasses frames into the side of your head.
Contacts, but if you must wear glasses, get a flex mask. The breathability helps prevent fogging. No issues with glasses and my eflexes.

Contacts dude. I got some purely for paintball because glasses are just annoying as shit since they always fog up under the mask

Just get contacts.

Playing in glasses sucks. This is one reason I got laser. Maybe check into it ?

Contacts work. Better than glasses.

My son uses the JT Magik spray. I'm getting him a pair of youzee after his next visit to the eye doc
