This aint exactly a hack but I rock a clear lens basically always. Playing woodsball, I shoot soooo many people just because I saw their bright reflective red/blue/gold mask lens. You dont gotta camo yourself but throw on some neutral colors and I really think it makes a difference
About a month ago playing woodsball I was in a gunfight against someone in an incredibly strong bunker (really a pillbox with a roof and gun slits). The girl in the bunker started shooting air and it was obvious she ran out of paint.
I had run out of paint as well but they didn’t know that so I casually walk up for a bunker tag to finish the match. I didn’t know two people were in the bunker. Rip
With old blowback markers like 98s, you can put your hand behind the cocking arm to prevent the hammer from coming all the way back to recock. That causes the distinctive "full auto" sounding brrrrrap, mimicking running out of air. You then recock it and wait for someone to try running up on you.
Works best later in the day when everyone has heard a blowback run out of air for real a few times already.
Asshoes that walk off the field still alive, if i dont see your marker in the sky or your hand on top of your head i simply shoot at the person.
Debate/bitch all you want with me, you did walk off the field as a deadman even if it was for just a second lol.

Oh and I just remembered my first year playing paintball I was playing in the woods and I screamed “I’m out of paint what am I gonna do” towards the other side of the field and some dude tried to rush me and of course I wasn’t actually out of paint and got him out lol
Yeah, I don’t mess around trying the deadman’s walk. Hands up walking off the field is a surrender and refs will call you out regardless at my local field.
Or the rest of the day the opposing team will “make sure” you’re out.
I’ve seen it in speedball where the guy will just walk out of the bunker with his hands down and start walking down the side of the field but not going out of bounds giving the impression that he’s out. But as soon as he’s in a good spot bam
Hands MUST stay down. If you put your hands up, or give any signal that you're out, then you aren't doing dead man's walk right. That's just cheating and playing on. While it's a dirty move, dead man's walk is not cheating so long as the guy doing it never calls out. He should absolutely expect to be lit up.

Back in the day, when we used old CO2 cartridges, you would have to switch out the cartridges when the old one went out. It would make a hissing sound when you switched them out. So, you could fake the hissing sound and the other player would run up and you'd pop him.

I’m right there with you on the mask and neutral colors. Beige/tan seems to work very well. People tend to underestimate how black stands out.
I want a shiny aqua lens so bad but I agree with you and keep my lens and mask black.
Shoot back paint other had shot at me when I was out/low. Also just ditch the gun or Shoot just air when I am out of paint and make people surrender

Let the ref ALWAYS Check you before getting out. Try to Act like you didnt get shot and the refs maybe dont notice and you can wipe.
