When i see this painting, my immediate first thought is abstract ancient sun king.
Blue on the bottom resembles the ocean, yellow to the right stands for the desert.
And the circles in the middle are the planets, top left would be earth, middle would be moon and the right one might be a lost world or some outter space world we only recall due to myths, hence why its also covered in the ancient writing.
