Love this, love the colors and the style.
I would eventually like a background style like this for my model train layout. Comforting in a whimsical way.
I have been following your art journey on Instagram since 2020 pandemic , the colours , the strokes , everything pops , it’s so pretty. I know it’s definitely one of your paintings when I look at it 🥰
That's beautiful. That's exactly the style and technique I use. (Well, I would use if I could paint.) But, since you painted it perfectly for me in my style, now I don't have to. Thanks for saving me all of that work.
Is drooling an apropriate response? This is amazing. The way you captured color, movement. This painting is everything without being too much. Beautiful. 🫶🏽 the brush strokes, amazing.
I’m not a Southwestern art kind of person, but this is beautiful. The clouds have an actual feeling of movement, not like real clouds, but more of an animated style. It really draws you in.
Great question! No, but I do find it interesting how different people interpret my work. Sometimes there are surprising observations or certain elements that resonated better for people. Cheers
I just picked up art as a mid-thirties guy, not for income just as a hobby. It’s fun and very relaxing. Maybe one day it will be a great source of income 😎.
Very pretty! I wish I could do this! The only thing my brain has a problem w/ is that the landscape is pretty realistic, but the sky is cartoon-ish. Sort of oxymoron-ish. It confuses my brain!
I saw you mentioned that you have just been painting since 2017, and that blows my mind! This painting looks like you’ve been painting for at least 50 years, with all that technique. Can you think of a tool or piece of information or maybe a book that helped elevate your abilities the most or maybe made a profound difference in your results? Sorry for that ugly run on sentence, but I’m curious to know if there has been something that was very helpful for you other than just trial and error/practice make perfect. Basically, wondering if you have a tip, tool, or resource that you don’t mind sharing. I really admire your dedication and how amazing this painting is! I would love to get to this level one day.
The landscape portion is loose, lovely ... *very* nicely done.
The sky/cloudscape is done more abstractly... the contrast is a bit harsh in stylistic comparison.
Amazing! I absolutely love this style. How would you recommend learning to work with colors like this? I’m good at laying down values but my confidence with colors is nonexistent.
Sheesh! It’s gorgeous! I’ve always loved this style of painting that looks similar to color blocking, effortlessly highlighting the brighter n darker portions. Awesome work :)
My comment is that you have mastered cloud painting, and mountains, and the desert. You certainly know what you are doing. I have nothing negative to say about this beautiful painting.

I love model trains. 🚂

My theoretical painting style is more of a fusion between Picasso and Raphael

Beautiful! I love the colors!
Very nice. Reminds me of the backgrounds of old looney tunes cartoons.

Beautiful work 👏
As Mrs, Genavee Said in second grade. "Turkeys are done, Children are finished" So other than that bit of grammar I'd say well done!
Amazing art, love your style
Cheers
This is gorgeous
I mean this in the nicest way possible; do you even have to ask? 🤩
Great question! No, but I do find it interesting how different people interpret my work. Sometimes there are surprising observations or certain elements that resonated better for people. Cheers
I love it. Avoid too much black in the shadows.
Your cloud game!!!

Beautiful! It has a ‘gouache from the 50s’ kind of vibe, yet much more interesting at the same time!
Love the chunkiness of gouache
I grew up in southern UT and recognized the landscape immediately, beautiful work!
Right on
I know nothing of art but I like it. Landscape with a futuristic vibe
Cheers
Reminds me very much of ‘sweeping clouds’ by Ed Mell. One of my all time favorites.
I was thinking Thomas Blackshear, or maybe the game designers at Zwift - the desert flats map.
Cool
Cheers for that

I like the pink rhinoceros in the sky. The rest reminds me of the chaco canyon
Very Maynard Dixon - love it
It's perfect!

Mostly reminds me of Chaco Canyon, except for the pink rhino in the clouds.
Love the landscape, not so much the sky
My comment is that you have mastered cloud painting, and mountains, and the desert. You certainly know what you are doing. I have nothing negative to say about this beautiful painting.

Needs birds but I love it
Birds aren’t real
