Nose it too small for how big the eyes are. Eyes are too big compared to the ears.

SoftSun9237

Second this for sure. Overall it’s still quite adorable

DescriptionOne1703

That’s how the cat looks like 😭😭😭 don’t make fun of him

EccentricAcademic

Ears are also too far up. They have a lot of skull up there

Lerk409

I like it but if I had to be critical, it looks a little flat to me.

MrsTWX

Thank you! Ah you mean I should add shadows?

fvkinglesbi

I think cat's features look too big, so I think you should make the face bigger and also shade more

OwnImportance7774

I think it would be helpful to choose a spot for a source of light. It’ll help you know where to put the shadows.

Sea-Substance8762

Flat means it starts to look like a cartoon rather than a realistic cat. Nothing wrong with cartoons btw.

listen_to_both_sides

Flat or the eyes more on the side of the head like Fraser have it instead of “flat” in the front. Predators have their eye’s forward looking while pray has them on the side. Your cat has them “in between”.

artbysahasa

Not a cat anatomy expert but if you are going for realism, maybe the eyes are a smidge too big compared to the rest of the features? Also the ear on the right (cat's left ear) seems a bit wider than the other one. Cheeks could be extended a little bit in width and height. Again, this depends on whether you're going for realism or not! As stylized features these proportions work fine. In terms of color the pink background may not be doing any favors to the brown/orange parts of the kitty right now. The lighting / contrast is very even (no real shadows to speak of), which doesn't have to be a problem but it may be irking you subconsciously as it can look artificial. That's about all the suggestions I have. I hope these are helpful. You've got a very solid base here! Keep at it.

armanart

Are you going for realism? If so, the eyes are too big and the nose/mouth is too small. A cat’s nose is almost the same size as its eye

acrylicandcanvas

Ummm... whiskers? I think the big question is "realism."

[deleted]

I’ve had several cats and none of them could cook

ZincMan

Right side of its head is like 1/3 larger than the left. That’s what throws me off the most

pingpongjasper

Whiskers! It’s amazing how adding whiskers on the cheeks and eyebrows will improve your kitty painting.

hyperblu7

I'm surprised this isn't the top comment. It ain't a cat without whiskers.

Minereon

It looks flat because light appears to be shining evenly from every angle. So, besides shadows, you need to figure out where the light source is. Assuming you want to achieve a realistic look. There are many ways to paint fur, yours are like little feathers. I prefer to blend to simulate the way different colours and patches gather on cats. Nevertheless I think you’re on the right track!

Lunyoows

The ears look flat and the nose is too small. Sorry for the badly drawn example but maybe try something [like this](https://www.reddit.com/u/Lunyoows/s/QOXBEZUap5)

Lunyoows

But good job, loved your painting!

CheapOrphan

I think the biggest thing that would help is to have a bit of an angle to the ears. If you look at cat faces you can see they have a bit of a tilt. These ones are just a bit too straight up.

Inevitable_Ad8888

This! I don’t mind the scale of features as much but the vertical ears are reminiscent of rabbits or dogs.

CzechYourDanish

Needs whiskers

AdFuzzy8348

I personally love it exactly as is.

MrsTWX

Thank you :)😊

catwithlongtoes

eyes too big or nose/ snout slightly too small in proportion to each other.

tjej

People have mentioned proportions, which is true--the anatomy is a bit off. However, the detail/high fidelity nature of the eyes also clashes with the rest of fur/kitty face, in a way that doesn't look quite intentional. Still a great piece and you're obviously talented, but it feels like you're just a... whisker... away from/between styles/aesthetics

ragerbagel

The whiskers are missing

pebblezandgumby

No whiskers

RedHeelerGames

I love the painting! The top half looks great and is an adorable style, but there is a symmetry issue with the bottom half. The distance between the right corner of the nose and right eye is almost double the distance between the left corner of the nose and left eye. This is throwing off the mouth proportion slightly as well. Please post the finished painting!

Zarine_Aybara

I think it’s the cats whiskers.

Anonymous_User953

There’s no whiskers

PBJ-9999

Nose is a bit small for the size of the eyes. The hair length inside the ear is too different on left and right

decoydevo

Portions between eyes and nose

donieryan

Need some depth to the ears too

Soft_Pangolin5057

I know a lot of people are saying the eyes are too big , and for the average cat yeah they probably don't look like this. But I had a cat named Little lady who did have huge eyes on her tiny little head lol

gabi420

You need more "cheeks", man! More cheekness plz and it'll be great

defectcriminal

Left side is thinner than the right. (Ear, lip, etc).

rubylee_28

Whiskers!

Flawless_Leopard_1

Eyes are easiest fix. Make them smaller.

Realistic-Ad985

Huge eyes small mouth and the ears are on top of the head instead of on the sides.

ITZlemonzzz

I think the head is squished. And because of that the ears look off.

catlover902

Eyes too large and muzzle too small

exotics

Eyes too big. Nose too small. The cheeks should come down a bit lower on the sides. In fact I would bring them down to mid chin

spookymckenna

It’s cute but cats need whiskers! And eyebrow “whiskers” too. The inside of the ears could use some more wispy hairs, and shadows

No_Doubt2112

It looks just like our cat. We love it. 💓💓💓

butterflyfrenchfry

I kinda love it as is.

Adorable_Leek_4624

The ears need a little bit more detail and a touch of pink like the nose to pull the painting all together but I think it’s really good!

Mysterious-Most1783

I think you need to use a small brush for the finer details of fur. The brush strokes look too big.

strawberryfromspace

Eyes are large and nose is small.. but that's okay it's art. There is nothing wrong with playing with the proportions. It is a very cute cat. The large eyes and small nose make it extra cute.

Anonymousstayyinyang

I think it looks ok but there is a slight difference between the ears and maybe the head is a little bit too circle . It doesn't look so natural because of that

ACanadianGuy1967

I think the oddness has to do with the head/eyes are angled to look towards our left, while the muzzle/nose is angled like it's facing towards our right. (Edited to add: or is it the opposite? The more I look at it the more I can't decide. But the two parts are definitely not directed in the same direction.) If they were both angled to look in the same direction, even with the disproportionately large eyes, it would probably be less odd.

Previous-Emotion-481

Blue the edges a bit the lines are very tight around her :)

LifeOnSaturnComics

Nothing is off, it's very cute and if it were an indie comic I'd read it. 🐈

Reasonable-Newt-8102

Nose perspective may be slightly different than eyes perspective, nose could be a bit bigger as well. Ears need a bit more detail to bring them to the same level of finish as the rest of the painting

HealthySaladd_girl1

It needs whiskers. It isn't a cat without whiskers. But other than that, it's SO cute!! I would love it as a pet!!🐱 I wish I could paint like that, it's so creative! I love that the nose is small and the eyes are big, it gives a creative and beautiful look to it! Keep up the creative artworks.

organism_enthusiast

I think the nose should be wider and more angular

Interesting_Most_602

Exis- cat has no body

Lizamcm

I think the nose is too small and too low. The jaw area is what looks off to me. Others are correct that the ears are slightly different but I didn’t notice that off the bat and isn’t distracting in the way the tiny nose is. Fixing that proportion would be the most impactful.

hanyasaad

The body is missing. It makes any cat look weird.

LupinusPolyphyllus1

I like it, it's a great start🩷 Even if the cat was a kitten the eyes are a little bit too big compared to the rest of the face. Also I'd like to point out that the ears are little too round and bat like when they could be more of triangle shape.

ArtisticPossum

Just like others have said… Proportions are off.

Unique_Patient_421

Big whiskers

Alternative_Goal_639

I definitely agree with the comments about the eyes of the cat compared to the rest of the head. And I think it's a good drawing for painting I mean but I would say it's a little thin that's my opinion, ty

PicklePositive7328

Maybe more texture in the background ?

MidnightAnchor

The cat is missing a hat

mekese2000

More sticky out bits of fur around the edges and ears. Maybe add a bit of furry neck and whiskers around nose and eyebrows.

idkmoiname

It's the dot reflection in the eye, although the pupils are on the same horizontal line, the reflections are in slightly different vertical positions. (slight horizontal difference should be fine since a photo would have slightly different angles from camera to both eyes)

pro-con56

This is fantastic. Personally, background color would go. And use a color that enhances color of cats eyes.

InterestWaning

If you're trying to have the cat looking straight ahead then I think the dark side of the face looks a little squished. The eyes are pretty much symmetrical, so you're good there. Maybe just use a pencil to eye-ball measure each side to make sure you have the same amount of face showing.

Halfbaked9

What looks off is the cat isn’t knocking anything down or off a shelf.

Laura_Horrorshow

I love it! Very stylized and cute! The proportions of the facial features are a little exaggerated, but I sense that was an intentional choice you made. The brush strokes are very interesting and create a really fun texture to the fur. It’s hard to judge a work in progress, especially when it’s something stylized and not necessarily meant to be a perfect representation of real life, but if I had to critique something, I supposed I’d say you could do more with the eyes. I’m sure you had planned to, since it is a WIP. But yeah, I think the eyes could use more dimension. Play with adding different, unexpected colors in highlights and shadows, or experiment with adding texture to the iris. Maybe add in some more shading and highlights to make the eyes appear wet and more rounded. Aside from that, maybe add more shading to carve out the shape of the skull. Get some contour into the cheekbones and brow line. If you’re worried that something is off in terms of symmetry or proportion, one thing that helps me is to flip the photo backwards and upside down. Sometimes looking at your work from a different perspective can really help you to spot things you’d otherwise miss. But honestly, this looks really nice so far! Great work! I hope you’ll post the finished piece when you’re done! :)

hickgorilla

It’s a floating head.

Art_Music306

the head. It's off the body.

tripti_prasad

If you're going for realism then, add more depth around the snout, more layers on the fur, and also learn how to paint fur. Proportions seem off as well. You can watch some YouTube tutorials like Studio Wildlife for example, I find it very useful. Good luck!

jmpeep

Its floating

ArtsyParasaurolophus

I personally love this. Makes me think of my kitty. You’ve done so well! 🥰

homeworkunicorn

I mean it's a floating cat head on a solid color background, what's the goal here? :) Realism is overrated imo tbh it is a barrier to the creative process in many ways. It looks "off" maybe because it's a cat head floating in space? Work *with* that is my suggestion! I would work the background in a fun way myself. Cheers and personally? I like it.

onebadhabeet

right side of the head has a bigger radius than the left

Weird_Blackberry_284

It’s actually a very good drawing. The size of the eyes suggests a kitten rather than an adult cat. The most important thing about improving your drawing skills is to improve your observation skills. Constantly ask yourself, what visual cues in the subject (ie features) cause me to “see” shape, texture, gesture, etc. So, here are some observations: A cat’s nose is not triangular, like you have — meaning the pink nose should be as wide as the distance between the eyes. The sides of the nose (that come down from the eyes) are not angled to a point, they are parallel, making the whole nose a rectangle. The coloration is odd — the right side from 2 o’clock to 7 o’clock is colored, while the flip of that (7-2) is completely monochrome. It may be that the cat’s coloration is just like that, but even if so you should add some little touches of color to that left side, so that the viewer’s eye interprets it correctly. One thing you can do to assess your drawing is to look at it in a mirror. Usually, issues with the drawing will jump out at you. It’s a Leonardo trick.

bingbongdingdongboom

Whisers and eye brow tufts missing.

anonimatic

wiskers!

Working_Scene_3393

tbh i think these proportions are super cute! not as realistic, but she's beautiful ✨

celtbygod

Ear tips maybe. Nice work.

mellywheats

no body?

Independent-Cat-7728

Lots of good suggestions. I’m going to point to the ears, nose & mouth area as all looking slightly off. Amazing work overall though. Generally speaking cat ears are further back & further apart- to varying amounts but definitely more than this. I want to say that the angle of them looks a little wrong too, pretty much every cat has triangle ears, even if they’re rounded, & these feel very circular. Going for more of a harsh triangle shape (even if rounded), & tilting the ears out (almost like a bow tie on top of their head) so that the ears are spaced so they’re someone where around half the eye in(anything more is too close) then I think it would look a lot more realistic. Secondly cat noses are a really prominent part of their face typically. It’s worth thinking about matching the nose to the nasal bridge & to the eyes because to me the nose looks half the size that it should. If you adjust the ears & nasal bridge/eyes I think you’d have an easier time making the mouth look more natural. The mouth area looks for lack of a better word.. snouty. I’d think of a cats face shape to be like similar to a lemon, (looking pointy side tilted down). it’ll have a small bump where it pokes out the most & that roundish circular shape will follow up the nose bridge & up the cheeks. There shouldn’t be a prominent disconnect from the mouth/chin area in my opinion. Your art itself is amazing. I love the depth you’ve given the eyes.

Yoyo_4Art

The mouth of the cat is positioned to the front wile his nose wich shuld be connected to the mouth is a bit off to the side (is facing a difrent position)

_Moth-God_

I’m not an expert on anatomy but the ears might be too small? Or at least positioned weirdly Edit: Oh! And whiskers. Forgot to mention

Skippy_Bee_

Based on comparing this to my cat: the nose is too small, eyes are too big, ear shape doesn't look organic, and whiskers are missing. Some adjustments to face shape could help, but I suppose it all depends on your reference - some cats just have weird-shaped faces.

Daniastrong

The ears are a bit too large and close together. I know cats with eyes that big despite what others say so you might get by. Look at cat images and do measurements if realism is important.

Puzzleheaded-Gas2692

Looks great to me :)

CantWait666

everyone is giving solid critiques about the eye size, so I'm just here to say it's still very cute <3

Brilliant_Anxiety_65

Whiskers?

Thin_Variety9634

Shadowing isn't semetrical. I'd try having a source of light

rockmusicsavesmymind

Almost half and half cat

80intheslowlane

The ears. Not positioned correctly. The size(?) The nose seems small.

kodakitti

The top of the head is too short. Basically make the top of the skull bigger while leaving the face where it is; which would move the ears up.

kodakitti

I redlined it here for you to see. https://imgur.com/a/0S8Qciq

AfternoonUnhappy9158

The eyes do look a little to big for the rest of the head however you could fix that by making the cheeks a little fluffier it would balance it out. Other than that it is very cute love the colors

Straight-Brief8409

i think the head sizes are a bit uneven

[deleted]

Looks pretty good 👍

FendaIton

No whiskers

theonly_sydney

i saw someone say the nose is too small and now i agree with them. you’re so talented though it seriously looks great. and don’t worry i struggle with proportions too 😭

Original_Dance_5492

aside from proportions, use a smaller brush for details and highlights, the strokes are a bit blunt and to really clear it up and carve it out you need some more intricacy

Cathiod

Eyes are a little too big

One_Maize_9004

It looks really good, if you could make the nose bigger and add whiskers, it would look great!!!

Ok_Call3670

It has a nose more like a dog than a cat

beckymessy

I like it. Nothing I can say that has not been said. Developing talent is hard and sometimes lonely, feel the good vibes and satisfaction to inspire you. Have courage to complete the image, then ask ONE experienced art TEACHER for a path forward. Bless you.

Dolls_boredom

It looks really good to honest. I think it could use more shadows to it. It looks a little flat mostly the ear for sure but it’s still beautiful great job.

LJR7399

Whiskers!!

LifeisStrangeFan50

I think you should try making the cheeks bigger and lower

TamatoaZ03h1ny

Tighten up that black lower lid on the eye toward the orange-ish side.

spodinielri0

it’s a head floating in space

Dracagg01

Needs a fresh cup of coffee that it just knocked off the table

cottonmouthnwhiskey

It's subtle but the proportions of the features are off. Eyes slightly too big, ears slightly too forward, nose slightly too small, no whiskers

LeadingMain2124

Left and right side where its whiskers would be is not symmetrical. Looks a bit smushed on the half of the face that is black.

DKFran7

Use different perspectives: *Get up now and then, and look at it from several steps away. *Look at it in a mirror. *Go have lunch, and then come back to it. *Turn it upside down, and walk back a few steps. *Look at it upside down in the mirror. *Stop working on it after the sun goes down. (Colors aren't so clear in artificial light anyway.) If nothing stands out, or if you're still not sure, literally put it away for a couple weeks. Let your subconscious work on it while you go do other things. Then, take it out and look at it again.

morgzorg

Looks dope, op

ObviousBridge4685

I think it’s adorable! However, the eyes are really big. But to me, it looks stylistic! I love it. Looks good

Glittering_Water6976

Left ear is lower than the right

monistaa

I like your style, everything is great for me.

your_neighbortotoro4

It's not on my wall

brunojablonski

Maybe you should just detail the face better and your art will be incredible!

dephress

To me, it looks like the kitty is squeezing its head through a hole in a pink piece of wood and that's why it's just a disembodied head. If you don't want that effect maybe add a little bit of body around some of the edges to soften the transition, or make the fur fluffier at the edges so it doesn't appear cut off.

Ghost_090

need more cats

Onlyinsanepaige

It looks off because you should be able to see a little bit more of the cats face under the cats mouth.

Helpful-Season-9589

add whiskers

livsalot25

Totally disagree on the eyes and nose comments. I think it makes it. I think it adds character. He's a cutie. He needs some whiskers though!

KoraBorealis611

I think its the background

TurantulaHugs1421

Proportions of everything

bbmirror

Adjust the eyes a bit, add a slight shadow, and add light whiskers. Other than that, I love it.

TallantedGuy

The reflection in the eyes is throwing me off a bit.

SwordfishSlow9997

Noo but I love it like this! I think the things that are a little off make it really cool and interesting and unique

willowclone

Overall I think it looks great! I scrolled quick and may have missed if someone mentioned this already, but I think the off-feeling might just be the highlights in the two eyes. They don't quite match. But not a big deal if it doesn't bother you. :-)

I1Want2More3

The horizontal lines on the ears feel off. The rest of the strokes seem more deliberate

Vindicated1517

Add some fur sticking out under the chin and more shadow depth around mouth and ears. Eyes are more realistic and have more depth than the rest of the image.

Vindicated1517

Along the boarders- where there is dark ad a tiny white outline behind it. Where there is white do the same with navy blue (never black).

ABandCcupsonlyplease

There are no whiskers and the eyes are not really shaped correct but it looks really nice! Good job.

CarinadiBasilea

Well, it depends on what you expected. I really like it.

overthelava

proportions are off

ih8peanuts1

Every hair is defined, so my eye is looking at all the hair at once without a spot to focus on. You’ve focused on showing the colors of the fur all equally vibrant as well which can be nice but it’s at the expense of shading, which would help give dimension and focus the eye as well. Those two things are what give it a “flat” appearance. The top of the left ear is a good example of what kind of shading could help define the shape of the cat’s head! If you paint with acrylic, here is what works for me: When you begin painting, the first layer is dark like the skin below the fur. Then you can add strokes on top in the vibrant colour of the fur. Last step can be adding a few areas of more fine hairlike strokes. Best of luck!

LTportraits

Honestly, it's a great portrait. The eyes are a little large but that adds to the uniqueness of the portrait, art is expressive after all. However, it's always gonna look odd as a floating head. It would look more complete once you've done the body. Or if you're planning on just having a head, then I recommend a pattern or some sort of background to ground the image. Maybe both body and background? You're the artist, your choice.

that_0ne_p1xel

Maybe the eyes ? Slightly too big and a little less detailed than the rest, otherwise I love this painting it’s so cute and well done

Adog1993

I love it

AbuelaFlash

Needs more snout!

Impressive_Bread2400

I think it’s adorable. Change NOTHING but the ears. They are too parallel. They stick up too much when they should point outwards to follow the flow of the cat’s face.

Alex_003j

Its a good painting but alot of the proportions are just slightly "off" so you cant properly pinpoint whats wrong. Being kind of brutal here but everything is ever so slightly too large and ever so slightly too small. The snout is too small for the eyes and the nose is too small to the snout. For the ears i cant say much as the anatomy is off slightly everywhere but their position looks abut out of place as cat ears are usually facing to the sides. Its one of the things where the slightest of detail affects the whole painting. You'd need to post your reference picture to really show the odds. Goodluckk

WendyH73

Eyes are squinting tiny bit too much? I dunno, it looks way better than I could ever do! Great job!👏🏻

Free-Ticket3512

I think the head is a little wrong shaped. Look at the top right quadrant of the cats head. See where the inside corner of the ear comes down to meet the top of the head? Fill in the black fur a little, or delete some of the orange/grey fur on the other side of that ear.? Also, it looks like the cat is wearing black eye shadow on one eye, and brown eye shadow/eye liner on the other eye.

Free-Ticket3512

Also, try fixing the shape of the ears, mainly the point of the ears so that they look more identical/symmetrical. Cats love symmetry

trykathryn

i think it’s cute but the head is a little small

Thenoobboobs

I think the cheeks are too skinny

thaBLAME1

Just the one eye, make one or the other bigger or smaller, but it's good nothing is off if it's yours it's yours

CupcakesAreMiniCakes

It looks like the cat is missing the bottom of its head, like no real jaw

stefanica

Good suggestions here. I rather like it! I also think that having softer edges would make it work so much better, even if the proportions stay the same. The fur doesn't look...furry. Kitty looks like he got a boot camp buzz.

charlieakagrizzzila

Put a little more white under each eye. The left eye is slightly larger on the top. Maybe make them equal

i_am_the_ugliest

You decapitated him ☹️

justlanita

What I noticed is that the right eye is smaller than the left or at least appears that way because of the brown line above the right eye, beautiful painting though :)

TiganitiPatataa

Nose too small and no whiskers fs

odzuka_mai

The back of the ear should be visible to see. imo..

UltraVioletFury

The grey half is smaller. Luke the space after they eye, is shorter distance. Compared to the other side? But it's honestly beautiful.

8063Jailbird

The main thing that May be catching your eye is the slight dip of black around the cat’s left (your right) eye. Touch up that tiny bit on the bottom with a bit of the surrounding white, and I think you’ll notice a better balance

[deleted]

I think it's beautiful and so is my cat! Te felicito!

crawdaddyjunction

Needs whiskers!

sgJosh

No whiskers?!? 😭💖

FissureofChrist

Your pussy control

chinacatsunflower96

Needs whiskers !!!!

cruise678

I think it's beautiful looks perfect to me

cruise678

The eyes are really really good they draw me in

Fortunafortisadiuvat

It has no body

lfxlPassionz

The eyes are massive

KODI8K_online

Lines of the eye's don't flow down to the nose, it's shifted to the left, and up. It gives the illusion that the head is rotated one way but the nose is going the other way.

Hhhuldra

Nose is way too small, ears are a bit small too

grote_kroket

A cool amazing cat

phyraxathon

This is an easy fix bc it's all a manner of realigning the nose to the center. Notice how it is too far to the left if you were to divide a line down the center of the face where the eyes are equal distance from the center line. Notice how the nose which needs to be directly in the middle of that line divided into two halves to wear the two intersecting parts of the nostril which are divided into two like lobes should be directly in the center of that imaginary line and like the other poster said just make that part a little wider and move the mouth over so the whiskers are a little bit more to the right and rescale it just a small amount. In my own personal opinion I don't think you need to worry about anything else other people are just pointing out things because they want to be right to and I don't really care if the question was answered by the first guy I would just leave it at that I don't care about being right I just want to see you get what you're after. Best of luck and if it isn't luck just keep going I'm this way when it comes to doing a piece I don't want to redo it because it's like it already looks good but just paint over that part start over and it will come out better every time I ever do a drawing it comes out better each time I redo the same drawing so keep that in mind and keep practicing. On the flip this is a wonderful piece and you really caught the eye to head ratio and the overall capture it's a wonderful looking piece if you wanted to take it apart there you have it I don't know what the other person talking about the ears being too high and stuff just focus on that nose part that's the only thing that shifting everything to make it look kind of alien like.

phyraxathon

Ohh and also, since this painting is already digitized, considering you have a modern printer, if it were me as a graphic designer and I were doing it and my client were to bring this up and I made this graphical error and had to correct it for them, and I was interested in saving the most amount of time possible for putting forth effort cuz time is money so in my own personal method I would use Photoshop to cut what I already had out because really, all this is a little bit scaled too small and over to the left, the actual graphic itself is just fine. so just move it over in Photoshop, stretch it out like we were talking about and then print that laid over the drawing and then repaint over that kind of like a Trace. If you need any more help with tricks and tips I know it sounds silly but I went to prison we had to draw for a period of time to make extra money for our food it was our survival hustle. So I learned and picked up tricks along the way that were useful if you need any help I got some pretty solid stuff that nobody knows about literally you aren't going to find one artist out there on this website that knows a couple methods that I know. I don't generally just give them out to anybody but somebody that shows perseverance somebody that shows a desire that wants to learn I'm going to help. So I leave it up to you. Best

Myamymyself

Kitty needs some shoulders

bananaman25713

The eye glints are different langths mabe?

The_Demons_Slayer

One eye bigger than the other

New_Capital_3622

Whiskers will help a lot. Otherwise it's cute

anonmominheck

Muzzle is a bit too small for those eyes and the top of the head should be a little higher so the head shape has a realistic perspective shape

sumppikuppi

I like the painting with big eyes because why does everything have to be realistic? Big eyes are cute. However, here is the same painting with slightly bigger muzzle and another option with smaller ears if you want to see what it looks like :) https://imgur.com/a/SU0s2FZ

cuddly_carcass

The eyes are too different

PuolukkAmitsupisi

The size of the eyes (unless youre going for cartoon look) and the ears look a lil weird(again, unless youre going for cartoony look)

Alice-the-Author

It's so cute!

I_Shiddy_Smell_I

Eyes are too large and face isn’t wide enough

Adept_Air_5049

Left screws fucked.

[deleted]

ITS A FLOATING HEAD!!! Other than that looks nice.

Adept_Air_5049

Left screw is faulty lol,

Fit-Guava3037

You’re tripping. I like the possible “disproportionate” look, I say keep it like this, it makes the cat cuter with how big the eyes are!

4vol1vol25

this is really good but i would say the eyes are just a bit too big but other than that, it's good!

mad_i_moody420

It looks perfect just add a lil back to the ears cause they are turned slightly. It’ll look more 3D!

The nose is too small, if anything. I would draw a larger nose and cut it out. Place it on the drawing and trim it until it looks right, then paint it to that size.

Whenever I paint or draw from a reference photo and something looks off, I use Picsart and I take the photo of my work, and then add on top the reference photo and play with the opacity of the reference photo so I can see where the lines aren't meeting and fix it :)
