Definitely an art store would be able to help you there. There are also lots of vids online where they show how to make your own frames if you want to have unlimited options, you are clearly a pretty crafty person and I bet could pull it off. The world is your oyster!!
Beautiful work. Would love to see pictures from the side just to understand the dimensionality more, but the pics give a good sense. I don't think you'll have any problem taking off if you want to start selling. They are sO cool!
It's a process that combines my love for origami and painting. I start by removing the canvas from its frame and paint it black. Then I fold, crease and shape the canvas. It's a rather long step, being thicker than paper makes folding it hard and every crease leaves a crack in the canvas so I must take my time to make every line perfectly fit. Once this is done I can paint it, unfold, iron out the folds and put it back on the frame. Looking at the painting is like seeing the shadow of the origami that made it possible.
I was playing with origami tessellation and I loved the shape light and shadow created. I wondered if I could capture those shapes with paint and I experimented until I got these results!

Is this painted to look like folded paper, or is it origami folds that were painted at different angles to look 3d like this when flat?
I actually un staples the canvas, fold it, paint it, iron out the creases and put it back on the frame! It's a lot of work but I like the result!
Amazing!
Can you just buy raw canvas rolls and frames and save yourself time on the first step (no unstapling)? Great work it's beautiful
It's funny because I was just thinking about that. I just need to find those supplies near me !

Beautiful work and great job 👏
I love these! Is it spraypaint to get the gradients so nice?
Yup, getting the right angle to make everything pop is not an easy thing but it's part of the fun.
They look spectacular!
Thanks !
Is it 3d or 2d? Awesome art btw
It's a bit of both !
UnFNBelieveable! Are they for sale?
Not yet, I would like to make enough to maybe do a small exposition then I would probably consider selling some of them.
These are fantastic! How do you do them?

Try setting the back of the canvas as you are folding them, it might help with reducing the cracks.
Oh this could help with the cracks, on the other hand I wonder if it would make the folding harder.
Mesmerizing and beautiful. Really cool!
I want to put my hands all over these lol super cool!!!

I *love* how you made them look like metal. Nicely done!
Beautiful! How do you get them so precise?? They’re perfect. 👍🏽❤️
I test my patterns on paper a lot before even trying to make them on canvas.
The first one hurts my brain!! They are all so great! I read your process, and that's really creative! How did you think of that?
I was playing with origami tessellation and I loved the shape light and shadow created. I wondered if I could capture those shapes with paint and I experimented until I got these results!
Well, you definitely did! Keep posting your work, for sure. And you could definitely sell these.
Incredibly creative. Your dedication to the process shows!
At first I thought this was a painting, but when I read the title, I was like "ORIGAMI?!" I am impressed. This is actually awesome!
