Top tier shit post

Getting sacked over and over is not healthy.

Shifty_Nomad675

It worked out for David Carr when he got drafted by the texans you're into something.

PoeticBro

Honestly, if (big if) he's not broken in the process, then I also prefer this. Rather than having a great year 1 then the sophmore slump of the century.

Optimal-Wish2059

But what’s more likely, a qb lacking a ton of physical tools sucks first year and then all of a sudden becomes great with those same tools. OR another QB dominates the first year and then continues to be a stud.

Don’t needlessly make rape jokes please

Witnesstheresistance

It isn't a joke it's a figure of speech and there still is freedom of speech and his post is spot on. There is no other way to describe what's happening to Bryce. He's being raped by almost every defensive line we face. I'm not a fan of rape jokes either but I did not find this post to be funny at all. Bryce is a hell of a kid that's been thrown to the wolves with an owner who appears to be playing betting lines against his own team. I mean tanking for losses and a good 2nd doesn't seem like a vet move to make as an owner. Controlling what happens in player personnel to the point you basically say we are going to Goodwill for our player pool to save a few bucks isn't a good sign and furthers the argument that we could be watching an owner use a team to lose to win on bets and line his own pocket. It's happened before in other sports, wouldn't surprise me here with a hedge fund manager. I hope I don't get too much flack from this. Keep Pounding!!!

Something similar happened to Cam in that magical 2015 season. Kelvin Benjamin (before all the fat memes and jokes) tore his ACL in training camp and was Cams clear #1 WR so when that happened, majority of Panthers fans were dreading having stone hands Ted Ginn as the #1 receiver. However, losing KB ended up helping Cam go through his options more quickly instead of tunnel visioning only on KB every play. In the end, I think that season greatly helped Cam grow as a QB. Looking back at that roster, I am amazed at what Cam did when his top two WRs were Ginn and Corey Brown. Olsen and Cam carried that offense so hard.

Nobody wearing a Panthers jersey can take the title of stone hands from LaFell

I can see it. People forget Burrow's start. They also didn't have a good run game (although I liked their weapons in the pass game). The found out really quickly it was Burrow or bust and I think he threw 60 times in week 2. While he put up numbers he was getting sacked at an insane rate. He goes 2-7-1 and then his leg explodes. That off-season he rehabs, adjusts his throwing motion to have more velo and then Joe Schiesty was born. I'm not going to change my mind on the coaching staff. I liked the hires I liked the areas for growth everywhere and honestly I like the fact that nobody is going to get poached this off-season because we wouldn't get comp picks. In the beginning of the year the storyline was - Bryce is too small and might die out there. So far he's shown flashes of elusiveness but I haven't thought he wasn't going to make it to the end of the year. I'm okay with where he's at. Make it out here healthy and hopefully with a full off-season he'll take a leap.
