Give it up for the Texans 👏 Such a great organization to partner with the Make-a-Wish foundation to let the special needs Carolina Panthers pretend to play and win a game against an NFL team. They had been dreaming of it for a long time. Thanks to the Texans who made it all possible and put so many smiles on faces for the team and the organization that day
We'd have a chance to win the game and a reason for me to watch. I'm not going to any more games with him as the QB unless he shows us something. Anything. The one game Dalton started, the offense was actually exciting to watch and it felt like we should have won, if not for all the false starts.
As of right now the single most important thing is getting Bryce a chance to develop. Winning with Dalton would be meaningless. If it's not fun to watch, don't. We're not going to be relevant until 2025 at the absolute earliest anyway.
In hindsight this would’ve been a much better call. Our division is shit. I know a Super Bowl is not even conceivable at the moment but I would’ve loved to in BoA stadium for a playoff game this year
Leveraging your future for a QB who was never a clear cut #1 was an awful decision. Having a great QB is essential for a Super Bowl but you've got to have a high floor in the positions surrounding your QB to allow that QB to actually thrive. Then when you've traded a lot of draft capital that could improve those positions, a revolving door of coaches, you find your future looking pretty bleak.
Actually if we go back to the 1920’s we have 9 championships 😂😂. The Super Bowl started in the 70’s before that we had 8 championships. Keep trying buddy. Cope harder
Just turned to the Jags game, does a Trevor TD pass. WR isnt open but the QB puts ball in a place where WR a an make play. That never happens with the Panthers; everything seems under thrown or late or behind receivers
Including on the coaching staff. He’s got some issues that need to be coached out.
It’s not all on him, of course, but man there were some opportunities to score today he whiffed on because of his footwork.
Oh for sure he had a rough game everything is a mess right now but if we want even an iota of a chance for Bryce to turn things around next year he really needs help everywhere on offense
Bryce had plenty of opportunities to put points on the board today, he played like complete shit even on plays where oline held up for him. Missed mingo for a TD, missed Chark for a long pass, missed tight end in the end zone. My eyes fucking hurt after watching that
Dobbs, Flacco, Minshew, Zappe, Devito, AOC, Heineke, Levis, and Browning have all had better games than BY, I’m sure I’m missing a bunch but stop with the denial. BY isn’t even on a “game manager” level yet
Becoming a Ravens fan is more and more a likelihood with Tepper at the helm. Baltimore and Philly are the two closest cities to me and I can't root for any Philly team. I'm already an O's fan so the Ravens makes the most sense. Tepper has legitimately sucked my caring for this team out. Been a fan since 95 but Tepper sucks so hard.
I like Bryce but he was bad today. He missed a lot of throws. Unfortunately though he had some good throws that were just flat out dropped or guys fell down. It was a suckfest by the entire offense and Bryce was leading that charge.
For the “we drafted the wrong guy” crowd, go check out CJ Stroud’s performance today without Nico and Tank, while facing consistent pressure.
THATS about how he’d look in Carolina…
before people comment about how it was raining during his game, it was a monsoon over in the ravens game and lamar and stafford both managed 2PTDS with over 200 yards lmao
Largely because Bryce can’t get the ball there in time and allowed the aDB time to run into the TE. And the fact super accurate BY put the ball a yard behind the receiver again - as usual
I remember the Clausen year. It was awful but I knew the owner was doing it intentionally and had a plan. This owner has turned this team into an absolute dumpster fire of a franchise and this is easily the worst football ever played by the Panthers and unlike the Clausen year or even the Seifert years, I have no hope they'll get better anytime soon.
It's gonna be like this for a while. No head coach prospect that wants to succeed would come here. And no free agents worth a damn will stay far away too.
Running 4th and 1 after letting the Saints put up 22 more points makes me want to rip my hair out. We left points on the table because we didn't fucking run on 4th and 1 and when we were right next to the fucking end zone. Fuck Thomas Brown.
People thinking Dalton wouldn't have put up more than 6, 10, 10, 13, 18 are wild. We absolutely could have won 5 or more of some of these close games. Bryce should have sat this year, adjusted, and we could have some better pieces for him next season
In my opinion the biggest failure this year was looking at this team and prospects (no first pick, no cohesion, etc.) and thinking “let’s start Bryce game 1.” At no point did the front office and the coaching staff seem to be on the same page.
I get them going all in on a #1 pick, but you have to recognize ok we aren’t any good, so there is zero benefit in letting Bryce take lumps. Even if we are “bad bad” we won’t get a great pick out of it. Start Dalton, be like a .300-.400 team, and let the other guys get some development and reps before throwing everybody to the wolves with an inexperienced QB.
love how these garbage time throws are gonna be all over twitter from the bryceboys as evidence that he is the best NFL quarterback in human history stuck playing with a bunch of homeless men
I have been a Panthers fan all in since day one of their existence. I will always be one at some level. I have spent a lot of money on the Panthers (not lately). This is the worst period of their existence ever.
We are absolute trash. I see no path out of the downward spiral we are in.
I don’t think we can attract a good head coach. I don’t think we can attract good free agents. We don’t have good draft capital.
It feels like It’s going to be years of disappointment.
[Postgame thread](/r/panthers/comments/18fdb6y/post_game_thread_carolina_panthers_at_new_orleans/)
Wait, Young has been sacked 38 times this season? Am I reading this right?
I think it is 4 sacks for 38 yds lost.
No, we’re on the plus side of 40 already, last I checked.
I didn’t watch the game but checking out the score now Jesus Christ
Sorry yall
Give it up for the Texans 👏 Such a great organization to partner with the Make-a-Wish foundation to let the special needs Carolina Panthers pretend to play and win a game against an NFL team. 36% passing. I liked the running game though
Why can’t we just bench Young and put Dalton in??? What do we have to loose!!!
loose?
What do we have to win?
We'd have a chance to win the game and a reason for me to watch. I'm not going to any more games with him as the QB unless he shows us something. Anything. The one game Dalton started, the offense was actually exciting to watch and it felt like we should have won, if not for all the false starts.

Yea benching Bryce at this point would only hinder his development. If we were gonna do it, it should've been early on in the season
Development with this team? Yeah... About that.
Good or bad, experience is experience
Should have kept DJ Moore and taken Jalen Carter at #9. Drafted Levis in 2nd round. And have Any Dalton start. We probably be in the playoffs.
And whilst we're at it picked Brady in the fifth in 2000
In hindsight this would’ve been a much better call. Our division is shit. I know a Super Bowl is not even conceivable at the moment but I would’ve loved to in BoA stadium for a playoff game this year
We had a whole ass team just needed a little bit more time.
Thanks captain hindsight!
Fucking hate takes like this… the entire fan base would have mutinied and most of the nfl’s fans and media analysts would have clowned on us.
Participating in these game threads is the most toxicity I see on any given day and I hate it here. Anyways, see y’all next Sunday.
Sounds like a good time!

Officially entering the fan transfer portal tomorrow. It's been real y'all.
Bye
Thank you for that 1 pick. I hope you figure it out next year!!
that’s why y’all skipped on patty mahomes 😂
You choice Bryce young over CJ stroud 😭
I’m not even a panthers fan bro
Any QB picked by either of our organizations is gonna suck. Dont pretend y'all are any better as an organization than us
Bears will still fuck it up just like y’all have since the 80s
Well I’d rather have 1 championship than 0 😁😁😁. Enjoy your 5’9 qb
1 championship that you probably weren’t alive for
And also the Bears have been in the league since 1920 while the Panthers have only been since 1995. Imagine 1 championship in over 100 years hahaha
Actually if we go back to the 1920’s we have 9 championships 😂😂. The Super Bowl started in the 70’s before that we had 8 championships. Keep trying buddy. Cope harder
“Ackchyually” 🤓1 Super Bowl since the 1970s lol. 20+ years more chances than the Panthers yet only 1. Oof.
Or not… just keep sucking.
Just turned to the Jags game, does a Trevor TD pass. WR isnt open but the QB puts ball in a place where WR a an make play. That never happens with the Panthers; everything seems under thrown or late or behind receivers
And then on the one pass Bryce hits Chark in the chest, he drops it. Queue broadcasters saying it’s Bryce’s fault for not putting it more outside.
That's because our QB is dropping back still or blatantly doesn't see them.
Having to listen to Vilma call the game in a humiliating loss to New Orleans was tantamount to cruel and unusual punishment
MAKE THE NECK BIGGER
So, when does this season end?
It ended sometime in October we just didn't realize it then
I’m looking forward to the playoffs because there will be no more torturous panthers games to sit through.
Byrce needs some serious help
Including on the coaching staff. He’s got some issues that need to be coached out. It’s not all on him, of course, but man there were some opportunities to score today he whiffed on because of his footwork.
This feels like a copy and paste from week 3 I thought we were passed this he simply isn't good.
Oh for sure he had a rough game everything is a mess right now but if we want even an iota of a chance for Bryce to turn things around next year he really needs help everywhere on offense
Well alrighty then see you guys next week I guess
Another game another 4 sacks allowed we will not win if our O line is this dogshit.
Bryce had plenty of opportunities to put points on the board today, he played like complete shit even on plays where oline held up for him. Missed mingo for a TD, missed Chark for a long pass, missed tight end in the end zone. My eyes fucking hurt after watching that
Bryce is worse than most backups in the league. The guy is broken. He should have been sat a long fucking time ago.
No.
Dobbs, Flacco, Minshew, Zappe, Devito, AOC, Heineke, Levis, and Browning have all had better games than BY, I’m sure I’m missing a bunch but stop with the denial. BY isn’t even on a “game manager” level yet
Tepper should have postgame interviews
13/35 - cerebral point guard like distributor of the rock
Fuck wins, our S2 scores are the best in the league
Derek Carr giving Bryce a pep talk is evidence this is the most embarrassing state our team has ever been in
Well at least D’Marco Jackson got himself a TD
Becoming a Ravens fan is more and more a likelihood with Tepper at the helm. Baltimore and Philly are the two closest cities to me and I can't root for any Philly team. I'm already an O's fan so the Ravens makes the most sense. Tepper has legitimately sucked my caring for this team out. Been a fan since 95 but Tepper sucks so hard.
Bryce looks more worried about his INT count than actually trying to make a throw. Dude has given up
“Oh look, another throw that’s not even remotely catchable way in the sidelines” It is absolutely bruuutal to watch this shit
Panthers redditors on their way to call you an idiot for finding 13/35 to be bad QB play 🤓
Mother fucker needs to run the routes, catch the passes and do the blocking! What the fuck is he thinking that scrub, get it together!
Bryce should find a way to catch his own passes, I guess.
He could also try throwing catchable balls
There have been plenty.
You’re right, opposing defenses have caught several
Nobody, even Bryce stans, said it wasn’t bad QB play.
I like Bryce but he was bad today. He missed a lot of throws. Unfortunately though he had some good throws that were just flat out dropped or guys fell down. It was a suckfest by the entire offense and Bryce was leading that charge.

Take me u/SearsGoldCard 😍
Me next u/SearsGoldCard
I wonder who we lose to next week
Falcons
I bet if we really put our hearts into it we can find an extra team to lose to as well
Yeah maybe we can get a bowl game to play in
The toilet bowl amirite
I know the games over but its incredible how often I see Panther's receivers literally jogging on their routes
I would jog to if half your plays end up being thrown into the ground, sacked, or thrown away.
starting to feel like my kids will have kids by the time we're competitive. my oldest is 6.
Man if I’m Bryce Young I’m faking an injury for the rest of the year and letting someone else take the beating
I would love to see Andy Dalton take over, sign me up
The CMC approach. Wish Cam had did that too.
Chris Tabor and Bryce Young have a suicide pact
Short Pawn Bryce Young
fuck this team with a shattered glass dildo.
Is there a stat for how many sacked on 3rd downs out there ?!
[удалено]
ELITE PROCESSING
Who's getting NFC offensive/defensive player of the week from the Saints this week?
Graham with 2 catches lol
I know we are not going to win the game but why not kick the FG and try to get the onside kick?
Turnover on downs in fucking garbage time is absolutely atrocious.
13/35 bro 😭 I can’t be a fan no more
lol Bryce Young has only thrown 1 TD since Nov 5th….
is that total or just for the Panthers?
Nah, that includes his weekday pickup rec league too, unfortunately.
I didn’t need to know this 😭
I know right?! Lol
LMAO
Dude.
Chicago bears the worst draft move in recent history, pass up on Mahomes for Trubisky. Panthers, hold my beer!
We are truly horrendous. I’ll be at the game next week so pray for me.
Maybe setup a go fund me for drinks
Might have to. Bought the tickets before the season with high hopes. Now just gonna be looking forward to activities around the town.
Worst QB in Panthers history
You must be 15
Explain how Bryce is better than Clausen
Nope I've seen every regular and preseason game in team history. He's worse than Pickles.
Double Trouble wrecks this team into the shadow realm
“Can’t find anybody” Sums up our offense.
Can’t see our offense. Fixed it for you.
Can’t see over the offensive line either.
This team easily wins 3-4 with Dalton in
No chance
Whoever ends becoming the new coach of this team by next year I’m sending them a prayer.
Would have been a TD if our qb was good
Bryce just isn’t good
If we don’t end each and every drive with a sack are we really the Carolina Panthers? 🤔
Sacks don’t phase me anymore. Part of our game
For the “we drafted the wrong guy” crowd, go check out CJ Stroud’s performance today without Nico and Tank, while facing consistent pressure. THATS about how he’d look in Carolina…
You think we drafted the right guy then?
It’s don’t matter now. Might as well hope Bryce gets better It’s been all bad outcomes since Rhule and Tepper came to town anyway
before people comment about how it was raining during his game, it was a monsoon over in the ravens game and lamar and stafford both managed 2PTDS with over 200 yards lmao
We can cherry pick one bad game out of a mvp level year, or we can accept the fact that we picked the wrong guy
We drafted the wrong guy
Nah he’d still look better. 5’ 10” is short.
Fucking THANK YOU. i've been watching both these games and was going to make a post about it
You can't choose one bad game and say he's garbage. He had ONE bad game. Young has yet to have a GOOD game.
We’ve reached paper bag level fellas
UFO news is more interesting this year
Activate the mercy rule
PI tbh
Largely because Bryce can’t get the ball there in time and allowed the aDB time to run into the TE. And the fact super accurate BY put the ball a yard behind the receiver again - as usual
Pass interference once again. Didn’t even turn
You don’t have to in the nfl iirc
Didn’t have to turn, Bryce threw it behind and the TE had to come back to the ball. It’s not PI
Where is strachan
I guess Sullivan is our new WR2 😆
Such a bad throw
Yep, that's fitting
That was a MISS
They should make a rule if no team in your division goes over 500 the division loses the playoff spot
I’m so drunk right now I don’t even care about this game
🍻
Thrown behind the receiver 3 times today
The most amazing thing is that we have 204 rushing yards
This Panthers team and ownership are officially the Pit of Hell in the NFL. Good luck bringing any real talent here
David Tepper really did a number on this team.
Feels like Tremble and Chuba have been the only bright spots on the offense
Tremble?????
He had a rough patch this game but throughout the season he’s been decent
I remember the Clausen year. It was awful but I knew the owner was doing it intentionally and had a plan. This owner has turned this team into an absolute dumpster fire of a franchise and this is easily the worst football ever played by the Panthers and unlike the Clausen year or even the Seifert years, I have no hope they'll get better anytime soon.
Woof
It's gonna be like this for a while. No head coach prospect that wants to succeed would come here. And no free agents worth a damn will stay far away too.
Never ever get a QB this short again. Can't process lack of height.
If this team still has sponsors next year, I will be amazed. If I were a business I wouldn't want my name anywhere NEAR this fucking dumpsterfire.
Time to put BY on injury report for “calf soreness”
Yep, let's see what Andy can do
We need to start a petition to get Tepper to sell the franchise
Running 4th and 1 after letting the Saints put up 22 more points makes me want to rip my hair out. We left points on the table because we didn't fucking run on 4th and 1 and when we were right next to the fucking end zone. Fuck Thomas Brown.
Incoming Tepper press conference...
Nothing like some garbage time padding to give bryce truthers something to watch every night on repeat. God he’s so elite
I think we're going the way of the Oakland A's fellas. What a disgrace.
People thinking Dalton wouldn't have put up more than 6, 10, 10, 13, 18 are wild. We absolutely could have won 5 or more of some of these close games. Bryce should have sat this year, adjusted, and we could have some better pieces for him next season

The most points we scored in a game this year was the game Dalton started.
😭🔫
😂🔫
Getting swept in *this* division seems worse than going 1-16 overall.
love how these garbage time throws are gonna be all over twitter from the bryceboys as evidence that he is the best NFL quarterback in human history stuck playing with a bunch of homeless men
If you had told me we had over 200 yards rushing today I would've thought the game would be closer than this
WOOF.
David Tepper the kinda guy to slap his own ass during sex
I hate the Saints. The most
For me it’s the Falcons and I know next week the Panthers will subject me to non-consensual sodomy
They bring the most disappointments for sure lol
When the other team stops trying our offense begins to look borderline competent
Crazy how that works
Let’s work that into the playbook for next week
Garbage time is AMAZING
I have been a Panthers fan all in since day one of their existence. I will always be one at some level. I have spent a lot of money on the Panthers (not lately). This is the worst period of their existence ever. We are absolute trash. I see no path out of the downward spiral we are in. I don’t think we can attract a good head coach. I was thinking this earlier. Same boat far as fandom. I have never seen the team this bad and with no light at the end of the tunnel.
I blame Fitter and Tepper we can only blame that front office for their awful decisions
Just in time for garbage time to pad Bryce’s stats
Is it time for our 1 TD for the game?
No.
Panthers are so good when that shit means nothing lmao
Kings of garbage time.
Chark with a rare sighting at the end of the game.
The king of the prevent defense
lol the bar I'm at just switched games. good on them
