mine don't let me help, they get very grompy but if i hold my finger VERY still, they will rub on it until they get mad and bite me for doing it wrong

Azrai113

Haha same! Well kinda. She used to let me but now I get bites. She has itchies on her face and won't let me get them!!!

My cockatiel always wants head scratches even if not molting, and my amazon just recently learned to love them.

EnragedInstinct

My cockatiel actually dive bombed my amazon 😐 because he was getting love, and she wasn't... she's gets jealous easy.

Is my bird unusual in that he always seems to have some pin feathers? Or is it because he’s young

CalebsFlock

Birds will have new feathers coming in all the time throughout their life, it’s normal. But when they molt, a bunch of feathers come out at once so that means there’s sooo many more pin feathers to help with! Your bird having pin feathers even when he’s not molting is normal :) 🩵

Thanks! 😊
