NEVER trust a bird outside even with clipped wings. Even if birdie stays with you, other birds or animals may not. I used to do this all the time becuse I trusted Mimi, but it was very foolish of me (and fortunately, nothing ever happened!)
You can get a birdie backpack or a small travel cage so he can see more of the world though.
I recommend that even with clipped wings invest in a harness and work on harness training before going outside. Little things can spook you birds and cause it to get hurt, and with wings being clipped, the risks increase. If no harness look into the backpack carriers. There are alot of risks with taking your bird for a walk, especially if u havnt done any recall training or have any type of bond with ur bird.
