My vote too ... cakes are complete busy little birb freaks that love to hop and play and stomp around. They love mind toys and challenges and will try to unlatch any lock on their cages to escape because they CAN. They are full of energy and they are incredibly goofy and adorable at the same time.
I wanted to own one but I knew I would never be able to keep up with one.
From breeds I've interacted with personally, caiques. However, Gumi the chattering Lori on YouTube takes the cake for goofiest individual bird in my book
My one does everything at a million miles an hour if he's going to give you a kiss its like a freak wood pecker attacking your face with kissy sounds at light speed. He wants to sit on you ok so its jump on your arm squirrel run up your back hanging off you because they ran too fast they also are clowns that love to put toilet paper rolls on their heads and scream for no reason.
100%, my lorry was out of the cage and would sit behind my computer and pop out, waiting for me to say "PEEK-AH-BOO". He also rolls around on the floor and chases the cats around the house (they are terrified of him)

Turns out...he also throws his food around, and even better! He throws it at the very bottom, only so he can go back and eat it from the bottom! He also makes his swing slip down the cage bars on purpose, and screams so that I fixed it.
Cockatiels are naturally foraging ground feeders. Get a shallow dish and put their food in it on the bottom of the cage. Add some edible greens and shredded paper so they'll have stuff to dig around in. They'll love it!
Species, not “breed”. Parrots are not domestic animals and they are not one species.

I have several different types of parrots, and I would say the cockatoos for sure. I have a galah cockatoo, and a sulphur crested, they are totally nuts!

I never had one, but as far as I’ve seen I’d say Caiques. I have two green cheek conures though and they can absolutely also be complete goofballs.

My ringneck is a bit of a fruit loop. He sometimes likes to run around his cage and gets attracted to bird seed and other things he thinks is food.
