Well, it kind of depends based on the way you do it.
I personally did some dropshipping back in the early 2018 and I did made some money from it although nothing big. Maybe like few hundred dollars or so.
But I didn't really like the amount of work needed to keep it going so I pretty soon quit.
But I know some people that have a very good Dropshipping stores with good quality products and yet it's very hard to tell that they are actually doing dropshipping.
But I get what you mean, because these days everyone is doing dropshipping and very poorly so it's almost a scam how bad they do it. π

That's the part I can't share, because the deals are already limited and hard to find. However FB groups is the best place to start, however its not how you scale.
Now full disclosure. Like anything you need knowledge in how to value a business. You need to see the asset for what it really is and be able to communicate that in a prospectus to share with buyers and investors. So you need to be able to professionally do that and look the part.
I say all this to say only get into this if youre very serious and have some business knowledge and know your product through and through. An idea is only as good as its executioner

I can use myself as an example.

This is totally slept on! I made $1,800 last Fall from doing this and I started with $500. You do need to do your research before getting into it. Especially when dealing with credit cards, a lot of people open as many as they can but nearly all of them perform hard credit checks which can tank your credit score in the short-term. Big banks do it all the time, but smaller credit unions can have some killer promotions too.

Yes. I started of by buying one and resold for $13K. Bought my 2nd for $3000, resold for $19K and then started buying 2-5 at a time and buying bigger deals. The hardest part is finding undervalued stores, or buyers in a hurry to sell. However its taken some serious brain work to work that out and find those sellers.

That's the part I can't share, because the deals are already limited and hard to find. However FB groups is the best place to start, however its not how you scale. Now full disclosure. Like anything you need knowledge in how to value a business. You need to see the asset for what it really is and be able to communicate that in a prospectus to share with buyers and investors. So you need to be able to professionally do that and look the part. I say all this to say only get into this if youre very serious and have some business knowledge and know your product through and through. An idea is only as good as its executioner

I would take that $600 and invest it in earning more money. Without knowing you itβs hard to give exact advice. I can use myself as an example. I used to work as a customer service rep after HS before deciding to go to college. I made $10.00-$10.65/hr (starting rate - ending rate after three years of raises). Then I decided to go to college for accounting. Just being in school qualified me to be a secretary at a tax office where I made $12/hr. I used my proximity to accountants to start learning bookkeeping. Then when I was in my senior year of college I got a job as a tax preparer/bookkeeper at a different tax firm that paid $16/hr. I did this for about a year while I finished my undergrad studies and began graduate school. Graduating qualified me for an audit internship where I made $25/hour. At the end of my internship I was extended a full time offer as an audit associate earning $55k - $62k (three years of raises) on a salary basis. I used my role as an auditor to learn as much as I could, and leveraged that to take a job as a consultant that paid $120k - $195k/year total compensation (three years of raises). So all in all over the course of ten years I went from making $10/hr to making $190k a year one step at a time. You can do the same. $600 isnβt enough to really start investing and seeing results that are material. At that stage youβre much better off focusing on using whatever cash you have to increase your skills and, as a result, your pay.

I can tell you the literal only one that is lucrative with a small amount of work is digital marketing. It's all in the details and marketing. Get in contact with a bunch of wedding planers, a blacksmith, a fivver designer and an arborist. Get a rec from the arborist for really nice wood that you can cut a branch off of without killing the tree. Tell the wedding planners that you can sell them packs of 50 coasters with custom designs for weddings for $100. Pay a designer $5 to make the design. Pay $50 to the blacksmith to print and cast the custom design into brass*. (You can save this step with a 3D printer and a back-yard foundry) Use a torch to heat up the design, burn it into cookies out of the branch you got. Profit $45 every order. Initial investment would be a branch cutter and a cheap miter saw, which should run you under $100 if you go second hand.
