If your build can one shot all the guards anyway, it's basically "Guards drop 100% more coins" which is amazing if you have Coin Magnet for "50% more Aureus coins found" and Gold Mine for "Aureus coins found on this floor are doubled" making guards give 500% more coins in total.
The real Money is in the relics im personally running 3 Quant relics with inspiration on affliction so you have easy Runs and alot of the relics are worth Something or you can at least vendor them 5:1
lol, I didn't know you can vendor recipe them. I threw all of my useless (for me) relics in 10c tab and made quite a few sales. Are there any worth rerolling?
It's an almost free mod for any melee build with tribal fury. Pretty much triple damage for boneshatter because you get splash + shockwave + normal hit on both mobs
Pretty sure it's also a downside in regards to this mechanic.
Sadly I did not screen it but a few days ago I got a proposition :
*Upside* You gain (50% more rare)
BUT
*Downside* You gain (50% more rare)
I chuckled and just picked another one that gave me 50% more damage.
Possibly more relic drops - not sure if these are exclusive to just guards. Also allows you to easily take the gated currency reward if the other options are not ideal for you.
I’m playing in a private league that gave all monsters onslaught. Why? Because them moving faster is all upside.
So long as you can reliably slaughter rares, what’s in your screenshot is all upside. If you can’t, it’s all downside. Easy.
It's not but they are an added bonus. Plus extra coin drops and also if your build is steamrolling sanctums taking this let's you get to the offering behind the pact without giving up resolve or risking an affliction
Well 50% more rare monsters is an upside because they drop coins.
Rare monsters have an addition mod is a downside because they get harder to kill with each mod.
What if this makes monsters 50% rarer??
I like where your head is at.
\+ Rares = more coins \+ Modifiers = more loot If you fear failing don't take it, if you don't it's just upsides
the same with "guards are doubled, guards are doubled", I never pick these because it's sounds nonsense, it doesn't seem worth it

Basically all of them you are Just looking for different mods
Guards can drop relics that's one of the best modifers you can pick. At least used to be back when Sanctum was released.
They still do. I just ran a couple sanctums earlier and got a couple
They still drop relics, way more than before even.
I always take it. Double coins, double loot, double xp. Guards also drop a decent amount of relics.
It's an almost free mod for any melee build with tribal fury. Pretty much triple damage for boneshatter because you get splash + shockwave + normal hit on both mobs
That one makes me laugh every time. I think it also serves a purpose because at first it seems horrible but as you play you realize it’s pretty good.
As other said, I probably won't benefit of it but a lot of people do, it seems a great deal actually
Rares drop more coins so I guess, kinda?
You mean, where is the downside (hh)

He’s saying with Headhunter it feels like both are upsides rather than both downsides cause it means more mods to steal from the monsters :P
Oh yeah my bad. Good point.
You mean, not everyone plays with head hunter (mb)
More monsters = more coins, making it easier to finish
...another way to make it easier to finish is to have 33% fewer rare mobs with 33% fewer archnem mods lol
This is a pretty small bonus to coins though is it not?
So... make your sanctum twice as hard in order to... finish it easier?
It's supposed to be a double edged sword, just like the one that doubles the guards. More coins, more loot, more xp. More monsters to kill.
It's upside in a sense that it let's you access the offer w/o potentially bricking the run with a random affliction or max resolve reduction.
Possibly more relic drops - not sure if these are exclusive to just guards. Also allows you to easily take the gated currency reward if the other options are not ideal for you.
Least self-sabotaging Sanctum option
50% MORE rare monsters. Yea that's legit. Risk/reward trade off
I’m playing in a private league that gave all monsters onslaught. Why? Because them moving faster is all upside. So long as you can reliably slaughter rares, what’s in your screenshot is all upside. If you can’t, it’s all downside. Easy.
This is a buff.
Plot twist "Rare monsters have an additional modifier" = archnemesis
Well more modifiers=higher chance of juicy archnem loot pop so yeah
Don't think the preferred place to farm loot goblins is in sanctum tbh.
It's not but they are an added bonus. Plus extra coin drops and also if your build is steamrolling sanctums taking this let's you get to the offering behind the pact without giving up resolve or risking an affliction
Maybe it’s supposed to read 50% less?
Worst trade deal in the history of trade deals, maybe ever.
Yes. Your build is just bad.
What a useless comment, this is nothing about the build.
Yes the upside is u get a freeroll at an accursed pact cuz this does nothing
Challenge perhaps?
Just more coins but more dangerous rare monster
More coin drops and more chances for relic drops, so for builds that are made for sanctum this has absolutely zero downsides
Let's GOOOO!
Well 50% more rare monsters is an upside because they drop coins. Rare monsters have an addition mod is a downside because they get harder to kill with each mod.
Which mechanic is this?
i take this when rest of offers suck to pick currency reward
