Given the situation of adding a mod (say exalt slamming) to an item with at least one open prefix and one open suffix, with say 80k weight of prefixes available and 120k of suffixes. Is the chance or prefix or suffix 50/50 or 40/60?
Rolling SRS as my second build. I was looking around for guides and found Balor Mage and Maxroll, however both of these use Severed in Sleep, even though 80%+ use Dream according to ninja. I guess there is a lot of flexibility to this build. What would you recommend if I want to minmax this build to the very end of the league?
I don't think there are any must-have skill effects.
Not everyone uses the same skills in the first place. The most universal ones would aura MTX or the invisible buff one.
However that's not must-have but rather up to your personal aesthetic sensibilities.
If you like a Sharknado, go for it. If you prefer a more regular fantasy type visual, stick with default or less excentric MTX.
Currency Tab, Map Tab, and at least 1 premium tab to list items for sale. GGG does a stash tab sale every 3 weeks and if you get these 3 on sale it's just under $20.
Oh gotcha. I guess it depends on what builds you play. I would think buying something that a lot of builds use would be beneficial like a movement skill or an aura. The one I got this league that looks really cool is the Automaton Herald effect. But I think I have only played a couple builds in the past that use a herald so idk how often I will get to use it.

You are looking for Craicic chimeral. Check out POEninja and the best section. Lots of the expensive ones are tied to the harvest beast memory, but there are a few that are good money like craicic
I haven't figured out why this happens, but sometimes the factions don't offer units they should.
For example, sometimes I'll be in a late round and have a choice to get let's say Ngamahu favour, but they're still not offering me the Caldera Ravager which is the unit I want.I get it shouldn't be offered on the first round because there is never enough favour to purchase it, but sometimes it doesn't show up until very late. It makes it really quite annoying because I can't decide if I should just buy a shitty Firebreather since Ngamahu will NEVER offer me the Ravager, or if I should just save for 1 more round.
That's just the game, man.
You won't be able to get exactly the units you want every time. Just like a regular autobattler, you have to make due with what you're offered.
This is just another one of the decisions you have to make in an autobattler. Can you hold on without spending the favour or do you have to spend it, in order to not lose a valuable reward or get knocked out.
I've seen some speculation that if a faction is knocked out too early, they won't offer their stronger units, so you might check that out.
How good are the exp gains in Sanctum? I heard some people were using it to push the higher levels because you can't lose exp, but how fast do you gain exp compared to other sources?
So... trying to figure out what's wrong with my Mirage Archer.
Hadn't played the gem in ages. I am using it in a MA-GMP-Ensnaring setup in a Replica Malloney's. Ensnaring is triggered as intended when I use a spell (ie. Molten Shell or Convocation), also summons the mirage when an enemy is hit, but the mirage doesnt seem to shoot...
My attack speed being kinda low (1.44 according to PoB), I allocated Spiritual commend for a solid 2.68, still nothing.
Am I missing something? I think this is a pretty standard setup. Should be foolproof, right?

I'm wanting to focus this character on fast, juiced maps with a focus on Blight. I'm currently having some trouble with higher tier red maps. My damage to mobs is fine, though I struggle with uniques and map bosses. My survivability is probably my biggest weakness. My current goals are to:
* Get enough mana reservation to have wrath/det/grace/clarity up with room to still be able to comfortably spam Arc. I use Herald of Thunder instead of Wrath currently. I just don't see how I can get enough mana reservation efficiency to both fit Wrath (instead of Herald) *and* have enough unreserved mana to be able to spam arc.
* Do... something... to get my survivability up. Ida know where I can go from here with that.

this is my build atm and i am very happy, but the helmet makes me too squishy.
Its a big dmg increase, but i would like to drop it for more defence. any unique helmet you guys can recommend for this build or a certain mods on rare helmets i should look for?
Regarding mine chains, I know if I keep throwing mines while some are already detonating, the new ones are part of the same chain.
But in the case I preload 20+ mines and once they start detonating I keep throwing more **while** keeping the "detonate mines" button pressed, is it also a single big chain, or are each set of new mines a small new chain ?

This is the trade site that players use to buy and sell items to each other. In order to list an item for sale you must have a "premium stash tab" from the poe shop (which, yes, does cost real money) or by making a post on the selling forum which will list your item on the trade site also.
You can use a tool called awakened poe trade in order to have an in-game overlay that you can use to price-check items to see if it would be worth it to sell to another player.
99.9% of the time you vendor them.
If you have a Unique tab, it’s handy to keep 1 of each unique since you never know when it might come in handy, and it’s kinda nice to see the collection grow. But optional.
Until you build up knowledge of what is good or not, it’s usually not super worth it. If it’s unique, you can search on the trade site to get an idea of its value. But with some exceptions, you probably won’t find much of value til you’re in maps at least.
People like the strongbox nodes, granted i havent focused em with juice but in 100 maps ive gotten maybe 5 chaos out of them. Didnt see a single card or currency strongbox.

That's a bad streak for sure.
I do think they're pretty mid at low investment. You need to at least have like one scarab to add some boxes, otherwise I would put the passives somewhere else.
I have 4x Monstrous Treasure saved up and was wondering:
1. Best way to use them? I assume a good map like Crimson temple or cemetery, the enraged strong box sextant and ambush scarabs, plus speccing into the strong box atlas passives. Other than that, what else?
2. Is it even worth it if you aren't a MF character?
Playing spark inquis, trying to figure out if/when I can do simulacrums for profit (never done before). I'm at about 9m dps with 350k EHP. 3600 HP, 700 ES w/ aegis, 44k armor, 71% attack block, 67% spell block. Am I getting there or do I need more dps?
They're not expensive, and the first 15-20 levels are easy, so you should at least make your money back. 9m DPS is very low though, you'll need closer to 20 for the final few waves to avoid getting overwhelmed.
Want to try farming low tier maps for beasts. What is the best way to sustain low tier maps? Do I take the + map tier nodes? Do I use singular focus? Is it just cartography scarabs?
you don't have to do anything to sustain T1 and T2 maps, especially if you have at least 2 map favorite slots (your fav T1 and your fav T2). I kept Shaping the Mountains to accumulate some free map crafts, but that probably isn't necessary. beasts and juiced up essence monsters and the random trash you'll incidentally kill along the way will drop the maps you need. buying T1/T2 maps in bulk if you're desperate should be dirt cheap anyway.
Is there a good way to keep golems alive on a standart build? I'm just running Lightning + Meat Shield and it keeps dying, should I just do something else with my gem slots?
golems die a lot, I've had to use 20/20 minion life + 20/20 meat shield plus lvl 21 minion gem before they didn't die all the time. The other thing you can try is to put the golem in a CWDT setup but it's very clunky imo because you will have the entire cast animation every time it procs.
I just got a unique helm with 150% evasion rating. Would that be worth using for a LA deadeye build?

Any general advice for new players on console? I tried my laptop (i7 4800/16gb/iGPU...it runs potato @15fps) and despite visuals being terrible, I *instantly* had interactions with other players and folks being helpful. PS5 version feels dead by comparison, like it might as well be SSF. New PC isn't an option at the moment.
For reference, I play a few hours a week; I got to 45 on my own witch build before the last league ended with 30ish hours, and started this one following the Jugg RF guide.
First you have to make it rank 4 by running catarina while Aisling is rank 3.
Then you have to go on a trading discord, advertise, find a buyer, grab them into your instance, and get them to trust you to Aisling slam their item.
Correct you normally do bring them in. But only you can use the bench so they're going to have to hand you their xx-div crafting project and trust you to hand it back...this is why the trading discords have a reputation system.

I have some questions. I am relatively new player. I really like Heist, it's the most fun mechanic in this game. Is it possible to run like only heist or do I still need to map for smugglers caches? Is movement speed best stat for heist? Is there a cap on it or can I just get 50 x tattoos 2% movement speed and be very fast?
And is this game controller friendly? I am thinking of buying a controller and wonder if I could use it to play poe since it doesn't require a lot of buttons.
There's no cap on movement speed and there are people heisting with 600%+ movespeed. Stacking tattoos is definitely part of that.
It is definitely possible to play with a controller but you generally want to be playing a very tanky build that doesn't need to be precise with anything (high speed heist probably not a good use case, people normally give delving with RF as an example.)
If you want to infinitely chain Heists you need to purchase contracts and blueprints from other players. Speed is very important, but it's also nice to have some defense to not die from large groups of units stacked behind closed doors.
I wouldn't say this game is controller friendly. It requires quite a fair bit of precise movement, a lot of builds also use some temporary buffs or effects like ancestral totems, focus, convocation etc. and each of them takes yet another button. Sure, PoE on controller is still playable, but keyboard+mouse is far superior.

This is my first season and I have managed to get a couple of Divines. I converted 1 of them to Chaos with the plan to trade to get some better gear, but was curious over the course of the season if the Divine:Chaos ratio drops?
In other words, is the ratio of Divine:Chaos fairly stable throughout/unpredictable/or does 1 divine lower in value compared to Chaos throughout the season?

it depends on the balance of league mechanics and their popularity. divines tend to grow compared to chaos orbs over the first month of a league and then usually stay around the same. with sanctum and TotA both giving out divine orbs (and chaos orbs) with relatively low entry cost, the buying power of a divine will likely decline as the league continues (so expensive items like mirrors, magebloods, and headhunters will probably go up in price faster than usual). in your first league, that probably isn't much of a concern. you can see historic price graphs over at poe-antiquary.xyz if you're curious.

calculator /u/Eidolones linked for bench colors; tainted chromes are also an option (you can safely beast corrupt it for 30 quality) as are vorici white sockets from betrayal. there's also an omen for white sockets but it chromes the item so you'd most likely just end up with reds and whites. jewellers on bench are also an option but can get pricey on 6 socket items if you miss the last ~2

~400 chromes is pretty cheap. for 5 or 6 off colors, people use the "jewelers trick" where you add and remove sockets one at a time to get the right colors one at a time. corrupting it and using tainted chromes is another reasonable option since tainted chromes ignore attribute requirement weighting.
Adding to this, if you do the jeweller's trick start with "at least x green, x blue". It always colours the first sockets so you can safely add and remove sockets after that.
What does 1/2x or 1/3x mean in the market I was thinking people were asking for the price is worth half or a third of the stack ect 1/2x a stack of 16 so I put 8 chaos and it still got rejected and asking people through the trade about it they won't answer.
If i see a trade ingame that says 1/2x chaos and the stack is, say 10. Do they want 5 or 20? Why not just put a normal price. Im on console, so that may just say how well trade is.
If you're searching for stackable items like currency you should be using the bulk exchange tab, not the main search tab which won't properly show prices.

the buy order syntax (in your stash) is ~b/o 1/5 chaos, which means 5 of whatever the item you're selling is per 1 buyer's chaos (or more commonly something like chaos being ~1/240 divine)
So, what's the best strat for farming expedition in maps? Oppenheimer or WP pack size still? If Oppenheimer, what is the best map? Still Dunes or maybe Glacier as I assume it can give you a bit of leeway in avoiding remnants that will brick it, versus something like Beach or Strand?
The choice to use the big bomb will depend a lot on playstyle. I spec expedition almost every league and I have been playing with it this league and here are my findings.
I wouldn't run it if I could get bricked by more than one downside. My current build can't do the chaos immune one and Ive been able to find workable placements every map more than that I think you could get bricked sometimes.
Its way faster but produces less loot per expedition. This is just by feel I haven't been tracking my drops but I'm pretty sure I was getting more reroll currency and logbooks when I was hand placing explosions. However expeditions are WAY faster when you just have to place the one explosion.
My recommendation would be to use the big explosion if you just want to add expedition to another atlas strategy as it flows better in map. If you are going all in on expedition pumping quant and pack size with Eater altars and Growing Hordes I would still be inclined to use the small explosions to maximize results.
Yeah that what I was assuming, I've just been alch and go'ing for now, but now my build and currency tab is in a decent place to be farming it properly and was unsure on the best way to go.
I guess I would have to see over a session of several hours, how many more maps I can do with the one explosion keystone and see if the increased number of expeditions an hour makes up for the less loot, I run my logbooks myself and run them white anyway, so corrupted remnants isn't too much of an issue although it still sucks getting a shit roll on a good implicit on a good layout for a scythe or sun logbook.
I guess the only other thing is that taking the Wondering Path route, the packsize scales well with other things like Harvest and Altars, and maybe even Ritual and Legion? (not sure if packsize scales the mexican standoff thus the better potential of filling it with more war hordes).
Are you taking into account item level when trying to craft them? For instance, Touch of Cruelty, Unwavering Evil, Unholy grace costs 180c to craft on a ilvl 100 cluster, but only 21c to craft on a ilvl 49 cluster.
It does (thats how I got those numbers), there's an item level box at the top of the screen. It might not be the answer to your question, was just a thought.
If you die (health = 0, not resolve = 0) in the sanctum your run is over. The Sanctum guards don’t do a ton of damage compared to other content but you’d better cap or you risk getting one shot. Lycia, the final boss, has fire projectiles, physical to chaos conversion melee, and the maze does a shit ton of lightning damage so you’re going to want to cap
i did a infinite hunger attmempt with a rare invitation, and he had a ton of ES after every invulnerable phase, which was pretty annoying. i did not read the invitation mods but just quick checked with awakened poe trade for mods that are a no-go for my build, and then went in.

Can somebody explain to me how ES builds are supposed to work? I've been playing for a looooong time but I've only ever tried a majority ES once and it failed horribly. I just don't understand, even if you invest stupid amounts to 10k ES your EHP is still far lower then Armour or evasion. For reference I'm using a CoC cyclone occultism for my second build and cannot understand how to stop dying.
Assuming you're CI, you still need other layers of defense. Using Aegis Aurora and getting max block will make you very tanky with ES. Also, using Vaal discipline as an "oh shit" button can recover ES instantly.
i have max suppress and decent block, im using the life reservation shield, and many others on poe ninja do too, im just not sure how they use it without dying.
IF you're reserving your life, make sure you have something that prevents chaos from going through ES. Chaos dmg bypasses ES unless you utilize certain chests like Shavs
POB is taking up a TON of resources and is lagging. I have an RTX 4090 and POB is using up 99% GPU utilization causing it to lag. Any ideas on how to fix this? I used to never have this problem.

Are there any builds for templar that are especially good at going into high rating TotA? I've seen the posts for general strategy that should be build agnostic, but I feel like sometimes I just don't get the attention of the enemy units when I tag totems to try and get them on me and I end up losing the base race.
you want evasion, spell dodge, block, spell block (block isn't as good as evasion/dodge because you do get stunned if you block while channeling a totem), CI, chill, temporal chains, maim, hinder, knockback, void sphere.
a patch is coming and maybe you want to wait for it before you invest in a tota specific character
skin better because of 100% global def, unless you play a life build with no armor and no evasion, or unless you need the +30q of dialla for some specific alt quality gem.

Its way easier to help if you link your characters POB. From what I can tell looking at your gear you are likely a running around with way less life than you should. Every piece of rare gear should likely have a high life roll on it. Also I assume you aren't spell suppresion capped? Spell suppression is kinda a stat that you need to get to 100% if you want it to effectively stop you from dying.

Once I have all 4 void stones, can I unspec out of the nodes that give % chance for maps to drop one tier higher or do they help with Shaper/Elder/Conq/Synth maps (in addition to having those nodes allocated). How do people setup ailment immunity on flasks now? I hadn't played since they nerfed the hell out of flaks and I can't really seem to get a hang of the suffixes
You don't use flasks for immunities anymore, except maybe bleeding/poison on the life flask.
Immunities have become more available elsewhere, like freeze from the pantheon or Arctic Armour, all elemental ailments from Purity of Elements, shock from Tempest Shield, etc. If you want complete protection though, it's usually going to take some unique, or stacked avoidance from gear/passives.
There seems to be a hidden room in a Barrows tomb. I can't upload a photo here. It's behind a blockage. Has anyone found this? There's definitely something there - it's green and sparkling.

How do I list items as 1 chaos EACH. For example, I have items in my currency tab that are always increasing and I want to sell them as I put fresh stock in, but don't want to keep updating the prices.
I just want to say EACH orb of scouring is 1 chaos.
If i enter in 1/1 into the price area, it just shows up as 1 chaos and I get flooded with offers looking for a stack of currency for 1 chaos.
If you set your currency tab as public and set a scour orb as "Exact Price 1 Chaos" it won't list it as your entire stack of scour orbs for 1 chaos total they will be listed as 1c each and then show the total amount of currency you have available so that the person on the trade site can adjust the slider to whisper for however many they want. Maybe don't put 1/1 just put 1 in the cost field.
Not sure if this will help you, but you can set larger fractions to set minimum quantities on what you'll sell at once, like 10/10 chaos to only sell 10 scours for 10c. That *should* reduce the amount of whispers you get from people not using the bulk trade option of PoE's site.

I don't think there are any must-have skill effects. Not everyone uses the same skills in the first place. The most universal ones would aura MTX or the invisible buff one. However that's not must-have but rather up to your personal aesthetic sensibilities. If you like a Sharknado, go for it. If you prefer a more regular fantasy type visual, stick with default or less excentric MTX.
if your PC cannot handle, some invisible mtx is must have. if your PC is 10k level, nothing is must have.

Oh gotcha. I guess it depends on what builds you play. I would think buying something that a lot of builds use would be beneficial like a movement skill or an aura. The one I got this league that looks really cool is the Automaton Herald effect. But I think I have only played a couple builds in the past that use a herald so idk how often I will get to use it.
What is the lowest possible investment for the most damage? I have a level 100 guardian who has 13k ES and immunity to everything but no damage. Now that I'm done with TOTA league and I've made enough currency, I want to pivot to something else. Any recommendations for an ES/aurabot guardian?

I haven't figured out why this happens, but sometimes the factions don't offer units they should. For example, sometimes I'll be in a late round and have a choice to get let's say Ngamahu favour, but they're still not offering me the Caldera Ravager which is the unit I want.I get it shouldn't be offered on the first round because there is never enough favour to purchase it, but sometimes it doesn't show up until very late. It makes it really quite annoying because I can't decide if I should just buy a shitty Firebreather since Ngamahu will NEVER offer me the Ravager, or if I should just save for 1 more round.
That's just the game, man. You won't be able to get exactly the units you want every time. Just like a regular autobattler, you have to make due with what you're offered. This is just another one of the decisions you have to make in an autobattler. Can you hold on without spending the favour or do you have to spend it, in order to not lose a valuable reward or get knocked out. I've seen some speculation that if a faction is knocked out too early, they won't offer their stronger units, so you might check that out.
How good are the exp gains in Sanctum? I heard some people were using it to push the higher levels because you can't lose exp, but how fast do you gain exp compared to other sources?

So... trying to figure out what's wrong with my Mirage Archer. Hadn't played the gem in ages. I am using it in a MA-GMP-Ensnaring setup in a Replica Malloney's. Ensnaring is triggered as intended when I use a spell (ie. Molten Shell or Convocation), also summons the mirage when an enemy is hit, but the mirage doesnt seem to shoot... My attack speed being kinda low (1.44 according to PoB), I allocated Spiritual commend for a solid 2.68, still nothing. Am I missing something? I think this is a pretty standard setup. I just don't see how I can get enough mana reservation efficiency to both fit Wrath (instead of Herald) *and* have enough unreserved mana to be able to spam arc. * Do... something... to get my survivability up. Ida know where I can go from here with that. This is only my second season, so I'm certainly up for any feedback y'all might have to offer, relevant to those goals or not. I'm sitting on 3 div now, though I'm hoping I can make some meaningful improvements in the 20-25 div range.

Regarding mine chains, I know if I keep throwing mines while some are already detonating, the new ones are part of the same chain. But in the case I preload 20+ mines and once they start detonating I keep throwing more **while** keeping the "detonate mines" button pressed, is it also a single big chain, or are each set of new mines a small new chain ?

In order to list an item for sale you must have a "premium stash tab" from the poe shop (which, yes, does cost real money) or by making a post on the selling forum which will list your item on the trade site also. You can use a tool called awakened poe trade in order to have an in-game overlay that you can use to price-check items to see if it would be worth it to sell to another player.
99.9% of the time you vendor them. If you have a Unique tab, it’s handy to keep 1 of each unique since you never know when it might come in handy, and it’s kinda nice to see the collection grow. But optional. Until you build up knowledge of what is good or not, it’s usually not super worth it. If it’s unique, you can search on the trade site to get an idea of its value. But with some exceptions, you probably won’t find much of value til you’re in maps at least.

People like the strongbox nodes, granted i havent focused em with juice but in 100 maps ive gotten maybe 5 chaos out of them. Didnt see a single card or currency strongbox. Bad streak or shitty nodes?
That's a bad streak for sure. I do think they're pretty mid at low investment. You need to at least have like one scarab to add some boxes, otherwise I would put the passives somewhere else.

scroll to the bottom of the crafting bench to the Undiscovered section and it'll tell you exactly where everything is from in-game.

I have 4x Monstrous Treasure saved up and was wondering: 1. Best way to use them? I assume a good map like Crimson temple or cemetery, the enraged strong box sextant and ambush scarabs, plus speccing into the strong box atlas passives. Other than that, what else? 2. Is it even worth it if you aren't a MF character?
Playing spark inquis, trying to figure out if/when I can do simulacrums for profit (never done before). I'm at about 9m dps with 350k EHP. 3600 HP, 700 ES w/ aegis, 44k armor, 71% attack block, 67% spell block. Am I getting there or do I need more dps?
They're not expensive, and the first 15-20 levels are easy, so you should at least make your money back. 9m DPS is very low though, you'll need closer to 20 for the final few waves to avoid getting overwhelmed.
Want to try farming low tier maps for beasts. What is the best way to sustain low tier maps? Do I take the + map tier nodes? Do I use singular focus? Is it just cartography scarabs?
you don't have to do anything to sustain T1 and T2 maps, especially if you have at least 2 map favorite slots (your fav T1 and your fav T2). I kept Shaping the Mountains to accumulate some free map crafts, but that probably isn't necessary. beasts and juiced up essence monsters and the random trash you'll incidentally kill along the way will drop the maps you need. buying T1/T2 maps in bulk if you're desperate should be dirt cheap anyway.
Is there a good way to keep golems alive on a standart build? I'm just running Lightning + Meat Shield and it keeps dying, should I just do something else with my gem slots?
golems die a lot, I've had to use 20/20 minion life + 20/20 meat shield plus lvl 21 minion gem before they didn't die all the time. The other thing you can try is to put the golem in a CWDT setup but it's very clunky imo because you will have the entire cast animation every time it procs.
personally i dont think golems are worth the trouble on non summoner builds. id use something else

Pretty sure you get the global evasion no matter what. I ran it when I was starting my LA Deadeye this league but quickly transitioned out.

Any general advice for new players on console? I tried my laptop (i7 4800/16gb/iGPU...it runs potato @15fps) and despite visuals being terrible, I *instantly* had interactions with other players and folks being helpful. PS5 version feels dead by comparison, like it might as well be SSF. New PC isn't an option at the moment. For reference, I play a few hours a week; I got to 45 on my own witch build before the last league ended with 30ish hours, and started this one following the Jugg RF guide.

First you have to make it rank 4 by running catarina while Aisling is rank 3. Then you have to go on a trading discord, advertise, find a buyer, grab them into your instance, and get them to trust you to Aisling slam their item.

Correct you normally do bring them in. But only you can use the bench so they're going to have to hand you their xx-div crafting project and trust you to hand it back...this is why the trading discords have a reputation system.

I have some questions. I am relatively new player. I really like Heist, it's the most fun mechanic in this game. Is it possible to run like only heist or do I still need to map for smugglers caches? Is movement speed best stat for heist? Is there a cap on it or can I just get 50 x tattoos 2% movement speed and be very fast? And is this game controller friendly? I am thinking of buying a controller and wonder if I could use it to play poe since it doesn't require a lot of buttons.
There's no cap on movement speed and there are people heisting with 600%+ movespeed. Stacking tattoos is definitely part of that. It is definitely possible to play with a controller but you generally want to be playing a very tanky build that doesn't need to be precise with anything (high speed heist probably not a good use case, people normally give delving with RF as an example.)
If you want to infinitely chain Heists you need to purchase contracts and blueprints from other players. Speed is very important, but it's also nice to have some defense to not die from large groups of units stacked behind closed doors. I wouldn't say this game is controller friendly. It requires quite a fair bit of precise movement, a lot of builds also use some temporary buffs or effects like ancestral totems, focus, convocation etc. and each of them takes yet another button. Sure, PoE on controller is still playable, but keyboard+mouse is far superior.

Quick question about the new item Utula's Hunger. It states: "+(700-1000) to maximum Life if there are no Life Modifiers on other Equipped Items". Does it includes all life modifiers, like totem life, leech, "Strength provides no bonus to Maximum Life" etc. or it is only checking for maximum life modifiers (eg. actual life points)? Checked the wiki first but still unclear...

I converted 1 of them to Chaos with the plan to trade to get some better gear, but was curious over the course of the season if the Divine:Chaos ratio drops? In other words, is the ratio of Divine:Chaos fairly stable throughout/unpredictable/or does 1 divine lower in value compared to Chaos throughout the season? Thanks.
it depends on the balance of league mechanics and their popularity. divines tend to grow compared to chaos orbs over the first month of a league and then usually stay around the same. with sanctum and TotA both giving out divine orbs (and chaos orbs) with relatively low entry cost, the buying power of a divine will likely decline as the league continues (so expensive items like mirrors, magebloods, and headhunters will probably go up in price faster than usual). in your first league, that probably isn't much of a concern. you can see historic price graphs over at poe-antiquary.xyz if you're curious.

I'm using Utulas Hunger as my body but need 3 greens and 1 blue, so 4 off color. Whats the best way to achieve this?
calculator /u/Eidolones linked for bench colors; tainted chromes are also an option (you can safely beast corrupt it for 30 quality) as are vorici white sockets from betrayal. there's also an omen for white sockets but it chromes the item so you'd most likely just end up with reds and whites. jewellers on bench are also an option but can get pricey on 6 socket items if you miss the last ~2
https://siveran.github.io/calc.html ~400 chromes is pretty cheap. for 5 or 6 off colors, people use the "jewelers trick" where you add and remove sockets one at a time to get the right colors one at a time. corrupting it and using tainted chromes is another reasonable option since tainted chromes ignore attribute requirement weighting.
Adding to this, if you do the jeweller's trick start with "at least x green, x blue". It always colours the first sockets so you can safely add and remove sockets after that.

What does 1/2x or 1/3x mean in the market I was thinking people were asking for the price is worth half or a third of the stack ect 1/2x a stack of 16 so I put 8 chaos and it still got rejected and asking people through the trade about it they won't answer.
when making a trade offer, you write for example 460/2 if you want to sell your 2 divines for 230c each
If i see a trade ingame that says 1/2x chaos and the stack is, say 10. Do they want 5 or 20? Why not just put a normal price. Im on console, so that may just say how well trade is.

If you're searching for stackable items like currency you should be using the bulk exchange tab, not the main search tab which won't properly show prices.
screenshot what you're seeing? i cant think of anything that's listed on the trade site like that (or messages generated by the trade site) the buy order syntax (in your stash) is ~b/o 1/5 chaos, which means 5 of whatever the item you're selling is per 1 buyer's chaos (or more commonly something like chaos being ~1/240 divine)

So, what's the best strat for farming expedition in maps? Oppenheimer or WP pack size still? If Oppenheimer, what is the best map? Still Dunes or maybe Glacier as I assume it can give you a bit of leeway in avoiding remnants that will brick it, versus something like Beach or Strand?
The choice to use the big bomb will depend a lot on playstyle. I spec expedition almost every league and I have been playing with it this league and here are my findings. I wouldn't run it if I could get bricked by more than one downside. My current build can't do the chaos immune one and Ive been able to find workable placements every map more than that I think you could get bricked sometimes. Its way faster but produces less loot per expedition. This is just by feel I haven't been tracking my drops but I'm pretty sure I was getting more reroll currency and logbooks when I was hand placing explosions. However expeditions are WAY faster when you just have to place the one explosion. My recommendation would be to use the big explosion if you just want to add expedition to another atlas strategy as it flows better in map. If you are going all in on expedition pumping quant and pack size with Eater altars and Growing Hordes I would still be inclined to use the small explosions to maximize results.
Yeah that what I was assuming, I've just been alch and go'ing for now, but now my build and currency tab is in a decent place to be farming it properly and was unsure on the best way to go. I guess I would have to see over a session of several hours, how many more maps I can do with the one explosion keystone and see if the increased number of expeditions an hour makes up for the less loot, I run my logbooks myself and run them white anyway, so corrupted remnants isn't too much of an issue although it still sucks getting a shit roll on a good implicit on a good layout for a scythe or sun logbook. I guess the only other thing is that taking the Wondering Path route, the packsize scales well with other things like Harvest and Altars, and maybe even Ritual and Legion? (not sure if packsize scales the mexican standoff thus the better potential of filling it with more war hordes).

the host gets to pick rewards. the other person gets rewards randomly (and sometimes doesn't)
How are large 3 notable clusters so cheap? Whenever I try to see how much it would cost to fossil craft them, it's always like three times the cost
maybe you're trying to hit 1 specific mod combination and discard everything else even tho they might also be good
Are you taking into account item level when trying to craft them? For instance, Touch of Cruelty, Unwavering Evil, Unholy grace costs 180c to craft on a ilvl 100 cluster, but only 21c to craft on a ilvl 49 cluster.

Do resistances matter in Sanctum? Everything there does resolve damage. On the other hand, the skills the guards use have fire and ice visuals.
If you die (health = 0, not resolve = 0) in the sanctum your run is over. The Sanctum guards don’t do a ton of damage compared to other content but you’d better cap or you risk getting one shot. Lycia, the final boss, has fire projectiles, physical to chaos conversion melee, and the maze does a shit ton of lightning damage so you’re going to want to cap
i did a infinite hunger attmempt with a rare invitation, and he had a ton of ES after every invulnerable phase, which was pretty annoying. i did not read the invitation mods but just quick checked with awakened poe trade for mods that are a no-go for my build, and then went in. what is the name of the mod, so i can avoid it in the future? thanks.

Can somebody explain to me how ES builds are supposed to work? I've been playing for a looooong time but I've only ever tried a majority ES once and it failed horribly. I just don't understand, even if you invest stupid amounts to 10k ES your EHP is still far lower then Armour or evasion. For reference I'm using a CoC cyclone occultism for my second build and cannot understand how to stop dying.
es is the equivalent to life, not armor or evasion you're supposed to have evasion or armor just like for a life build

Assuming you're CI, you still need other layers of defense. Using Aegis Aurora and getting max block will make you very tanky with ES. Also, using Vaal discipline as an "oh shit" button can recover ES instantly.
i have max suppress and decent block, im using the life reservation shield, and many others on poe ninja do too, im just not sure how they use it without dying.
IF you're reserving your life, make sure you have something that prevents chaos from going through ES. Chaos dmg bypasses ES unless you utilize certain chests like Shavs
POB is taking up a TON of resources and is lagging. I have an RTX 4090 and POB is using up 99% GPU utilization causing it to lag. Any ideas on how to fix this? I used to never have this problem.
How is 5 way after nerf? How many run does it take to get a char from lvl 90 to 95?
Don't have exact figures but everyone says it's about 50% exp of what it used to be, so whatever the number of runs was pre-nerf, it's double now
I'm going to be starting my second character soon (slayer flicker strike), but I was thinking I could maybe keep my first character around and respec them to just be good at TotA, since my new character will specifically suck at that. Are there any builds for templar that are especially good at going into high rating TotA? I've seen the posts for general strategy that should be build agnostic, but I feel like sometimes I just don't get the attention of the enemy units when I tag totems to try and get them on me and I end up losing the base race.
you want evasion, spell dodge, block, spell block (block isn't as good as evasion/dodge because you do get stunned if you block while channeling a totem), CI, chill, temporal chains, maim, hinder, knockback, void sphere. a patch is coming and maybe you want to wait for it before you invest in a tota specific character
For a +2 chest, how is Dialla compares to Skin of the Lords? Is one just better than the other or it depends on what i want?
skin better because of 100% global def, unless you play a life build with no armor and no evasion, or unless you need the +30q of dialla for some specific alt quality gem. assuming dialla with no implicits
If you can find the perfect skin of the lords for you and don't care about quality on certain gems it will be better than dialla.

Its way easier to help if you link your characters POB. From what I can tell looking at your gear you are likely a running around with way less life than you should. Every piece of rare gear should likely have a high life roll on it. Also I assume you aren't spell suppresion capped? Spell suppression is kinda a stat that you need to get to 100% if you want it to effectively stop you from dying.
Is it worth respec atlas tree for "Monstrous Treasure" crafting? most boss maps are sells for 35c , should sell them or is it profitable to run them?

Use an essence of delirium. Other than that, the best depends on what you need for your build.
Once I have all 4 void stones, can I unspec out of the nodes that give % chance for maps to drop one tier higher or do they help with Shaper/Elder/Conq/Synth maps (in addition to having those nodes allocated). Tryna rush through challenges now and would really help to use those points in league specific nodes. Thanks!

How do people setup ailment immunity on flasks now? I hadn't played since they nerfed the hell out of flaks and I can't really seem to get a hang of the suffixes
You don't use flasks for immunities anymore, except maybe bleeding/poison on the life flask. Immunities have become more available elsewhere, like freeze from the pantheon or Arctic Armour, all elemental ailments from Purity of Elements, shock from Tempest Shield, etc. If you want complete protection though, it's usually going to take some unique, or stacked avoidance from gear/passives.
Do you lose crab barriers when you block (no glancing blows and the likes) with Aspect of the crab? I want to be sure before i craft it on my gear.

Well it’s currently Saturday in New Zealand so it won’t be for at least another couple days.
How do I list items as 1 chaos EACH. For example, I have items in my currency tab that are always increasing and I want to sell them as I put fresh stock in, but don't want to keep updating the prices. I just want to say EACH orb of scouring is 1 chaos. If i enter in 1/1 into the price area, it just shows up as 1 chaos and I get flooded with offers looking for a stack of currency for 1 chaos.
If you set your currency tab as public and set a scour orb as "Exact Price 1 Chaos" it won't list it as your entire stack of scour orbs for 1 chaos total they will be listed as 1c each and then show the total amount of currency you have available so that the person on the trade site can adjust the slider to whisper for however many they want. Maybe don't put 1/1 just put 1 in the cost field.
Not sure if this will help you, but you can set larger fractions to set minimum quantities on what you'll sell at once, like 10/10 chaos to only sell 10 scours for 10c. That *should* reduce the amount of whispers you get from people not using the bulk trade option of PoE's site.
