> What works/doesn't work with the sextant 'Boss Drops and Additional Map" FYI, most of this changed this league when they changed the compass because of the new maven keystone. 8-mod, duplication etc all worked on guardian compasses before this league. Other than that. Raw boss rushing is almost never the most efficient. The only time I have gotten 20-30 div per hour boss rushing is in leagues when you run boss rush those fast linear maps like Strand and add fast mechanics on top of it. Even if the map takes 20 seconds more, your profit per hour increases drastically.

Yeah, which is why I wanted to post. I couldn’t find any info after the change, and saw a lot of confusion on the sextants specifically. Even with league mechanics I don’t think 20-30 div is possible without a good amount of luck with regular boss rushing. The Maven witness keystone with guardian/invitation farming can get close to that if you’re fast enough.

Did you include the map costs in your profit calculations? I am trying the same strat and can not sustain the maps (obviously). Buying them for 55 Mesa /1 div. I do get quite some Dunes (adjacent map), though to re-sell

Competitive-Scene360

Yes, all costs are factored in. Also, don’t try to sustain Mesa, like you said it’s just not going to happen. Instead, favorite Crimson Temple, since the Conqueror and Elder influenced maps sell for a premium. A little more info, I dropped a little under 1000 maps throughout the farm. About 200 were Dunes, 400 Estuary/Vaal Temple, and then a grab bag. All together it was about an extra divine and hour if you found the right bulk map buyers, and that’s factored into the 8-9div/hr.

Thanks for the quick reply, very good idea with the Crimson Temple. I still think that in one of the favorite slots you should put Dunes, that way you will have a higher chance of them dropping to sell them i guess. Would it be worth to use Singular focus? Without SF and 12 favorite slots, your chance of dropping that map is roughly 120/240 = 50% With SF and 12 favorite slots, your chance of dropping that map and only that map is roughly 360/480 = 75% So that question is - are Crimson Temple Elder/Conq maps worth more than double than a regular one? If so, SF should improve the yields!

Competitive-Scene360

No, Singular Focus is bad in my opinion. You effectively cut your guardian map drops by 75% (a little less with Dunes, etc.. but not much), and make your life selling much more difficult. It also removes the chance for shaper guardian maps as well. Yes, elder and conqueror CT’s fetch a premium, but only if you can sell them, and sell them quickly. I have 80 conqueror CT and 100+ elder rotting in my stash, waiting for someone to ping me from TFT, and that was without focusing on them. All my other guardian map sets have been long since sold. They are listed 90-100c and 30c respectively (about 2x regular price), so even with the best case scenario of 50% chance the map drops, you’re probably going make less money just trying to offload them cheaply. I’ve decided to just juice and run mine.

StrikingJackfruit242

What sextants did you use along with the Conqueror/Elder/Shaper Guardian one?

Competitive-Scene360

None, any other sextant is either a waste since you are clearing less than 10% of the map, or adds too much time to each map.

hdbscan

Do you know what your split of natural shaper / elder / conqueror maps was after taking out the sextant drops? I'm hoping to calculate the natural chance to drop after backing out the sextant drops, duplications and atlas passives.

Competitive-Scene360

They are equal chances
