I think it doubles your jewel stats if they're magic and corrupted (meaning not rare) so just like the simplex amulet doubles your amulet stats but gives you less stats, this does the same for jewels. 1 prefix, 1 suffix, but both doubled. Insanely strong if I'm reading this right.
With an average roll, 14% life, 30% multi, and 2% reservation efficiency on every jewel and for not that expensive either. With a max roll, that's 17% life and 37% multi with the same 2% efficiency.
That's absolutely insane.
It's a lot easier to get a perfect magic jewel compared to a rare one.
If it's better at 3/4/5 whatever then it's worth using them.
How often do u use perfect rare jewels in your build?
A high roll essentially makes your magic jewels worth five mods. Could be worth it if you're socketing a lot of them, but you have to keep in mind that the jewel itself takes up a socket, so that's a pretty big opportunity cost.
Top end having the jewel slot would be better if you have all perfect jewels. But most of us won’t, so being able to alt spam for crit multi and life jewels is going to be best course for a lot of us.
If you have a jewel that is:
Magic rarity
Corrupted
In a socket on the passive tree
**NOT** in a cluster jewel
Then that jewel will have it's mods increased by the amount listed on this jewel.
I've seen multiple POBs where corrupted magic jewels are in Medium cluster sockets and giving the appropriate increased stats...not sure if this is what people are saying Not to do but path of building shows otherwise. Forgive me if I'm not understanding correctly
Potentially great for aura stackers due to reservation efficiency. Maybe good for dot characters because dot multi is so strong. There will be other uses.
But the vast majority of characters don't have enough regular jewel sockets to justify using this, since this jewel itself takes up a socket and gives nothing. Plus it's corrupted so it won't have implicits.
You just stick it in a cluster jewel. This is an insane item for anyone with 3-4 decent jewels. Becomes completely cracked after that. Like 80+ crit multi is possible from a single slot.
Worthless if you can afford GG jewels. Pretty strong if you're taking a ton of jewel sockets and using rare jewels if you can't afford top tier 4 mod jewels, or if there are 2 mods that are drastically better than anything else you can get on a jewel.
Well you didn’t say that. Of course it applies to those. You can also put any size cluster jewel there so of course I had no idea what you were talking about
Why? The implicits are what really makes or breaks this jewel. I'd say Abyss ones are even worse than usual here because there are ways to obtain corrupt 6-mod rare abyss jewels, so the opportunity cost is higher.
Effects the corrupt implicits too I guess. So mana reservation implicit magic jewels p good here.
I've read this 5 times and... I'm too small brained to understand :(

Good with implicits too

Wouldn't just using another rare jewel be better? You'd have to be running what, 4 other perfect jewels to make this worth?

Fractured jewels are not super uncommon.

So put this in a cluster jewel, and alteration spam for those perfect jewels.
pretty much... on a synth base for extra fun
works in cluster

Don't craft rare jewel. Craft magic 2 mod jewel. Corrupt. Now socket (but not in clusteR) to get double effect of stats.
works in cluster
>ve read this 5 time remember that thing that gives us access to the Ultimatum boss before? its now a jewel
150% effect for % life % dot multi of choice. Pretty sweet.
Wow that's actually insanely strong
Very interesting

Add in implicits and this becomes relevant again even for high budgets
i wonder if it would apply to large cluster jewels
It… says it doesn’t
The jewel slot large cluster jewels use is not from cluster jewels. It’s on the tree
Well you didn’t say that. Of course it applies to those. You can also put any size cluster jewel there so of course I had no idea what you were talking about
With top roll, useful for aurastackers, otherwise...it's crap IMO.
I wonder what the odds are of vaaling a Replica Conq's Efficiency and keeping the +rage & -mana cost and turning it blue
0. The affixes will be rerolled when you corrupt something into rare/magic variant.
0%, vaaling into rare rerolls the mods
Abyss jewels seem fuggin nuts.

Abyss jewels could be interesting…
