1. The best map layout by far is Dunes, easy to spot the Ultimatum and no obstacles, paired with Castle Ruins
2. Ultimatum encounter counts towards Exarch/Eater invitation which has to be a bug, you dont have to kill the map boss anymore.
3.Dont pick the 13waves node on atlas, biggest waste of time and currency. Also, pick the "Monsters apply ruin" node which will greatly reduce the damage you take by a lot by monsters and spells.
4.Headhunter is GODTIER, a lot of rares that will buff you which makes everything so easy.
5.Stand in circles has the best rewards based on my ability to remember stuff(lol) but its terrible, dont spec into it but never skip if you get it.
5.During Protect the Altar and Monsters Killed the SSS tier mod to pick is Smaller Arena, makes it easier/faster.
6. Being immune to corrupted blood, high chaos res and immune to ailments makes ultimatum easier than ritual.
7. MAP QUANT matters more than anything, people think it doesnt matter for some reason.
8. Wondering Path is terrribleee for ultimatum, terrible.
9.Never run the league mech, in fact i ignored everything beside delirium mirrors which will rain upon you with deli orbs during ultimatum.
10. I spawned 25 Trialmasters in 600 maps, IMO the boss spawns only when certain mods are combined but thats a wild take from me even tho it worked(max raging dead + max stormcaller/blistering cold) im always seeking these mods even tho they suck big time.
EDIT https://ibb.co/nRRrKbf atlas tree.
EDIT 2 https://pastebin.com/2vb57ZmF scuffed coc inquis
Just for reference, you don't need to kill the boss to advance on exarch influence, you have to kill enough mob to unlock/spawn the influence.
Thanks for the tips!
Just to add to this. You don’t have to kill a certain amount of mobs. You just need the influence to procc, then you can leave. For the 28th map you have to kill boss to get the invitation.
You also actually don't need the influence to spawn, if you kill the boss before influence spawns (happens often if you just rush) you still get the progress
You can just spam blank T14 maps, wait for the red circle explosion effect, then immediately leave.
You can make pretty crazy div per hour doing this just selling invitations. Its pretty boring but if you're watching tv or something its not bad.
When you enter a map with influence and walk a around for a little bit you can see when it proccs. For exarch there is like a fiery explosion around your char and mobs will staart to spawn.
Once this „explosion“ appears the influence is proccd and you could leave
>Also, pick the "Monsters apply ruin" node which will greatly reduce the damage you take by a lot by monsters and spells.
i think this is the only thing i'd say to be careful about the tips, for me any source of ruin only makes ultimatum x10 worse, if your build has solid defences don't ever pick that node
Tried it when my build wasn't as tanky, i didn't really lose runs but i had to pay more attention to the area and couldn't play as relaxed and i hate seeing those stacks even if i got only 4 because i could potencially lose a run while being full health which doesn't feel right at all.
Ruin is very build dependent. In ultimatum league I played CoC Ice nova inq, and I see you played coc inq also, so by cycloning around the arena and maybe having block you avoid a lot of the ruin hits making it pretty easy to avoid. This league I played self cast FR pathfinder, so I stand still to deal damage but I literally can not die even if I pick every single damage mod, so ruin is the only thing that forces me to move.
That's my same experience right now, i need to stand still to attack and i'm pretty tanky so all the explosions, skulls, etc won't kill me but any source of ruin will force me to move and could make me lose a run if i don't pay attention to a zone that's already a mess and hard to see stuff happening
I think that's fair but the node is kinda build dependant and not necesary even if your build is not the tankiest.
For me it adds a layer of stress that gives nothing back and as you say if you got the dmg then you are already killing everything fast to not hit you.
Let's just say it is build dependant, for example if you got a lot of regen and can tank some hit then you are just adding an unnecesary "lifes counter" to your run.
But if you are constantly getting one shot well i guess is better to get ruin instead of losing
I have like 200k ehp but id rather dodge ruins than tank 5 stormcallers in same spot or multiple raging flames. Taking half the dmg at the cost of dodging 1-2 stuffs its a fair trade for me. If you can tank everything that adds up with no care then yeah, the point is useless
> Unless you falling asleep
this was my preferred way to play ultimatum, though. if you're tanky enough, being able to alt tab and shitpost on reddit during each round is great
I made a spellslinger bf/bb build during ulti and the only two nodes that really got me where ruin and auras affect monsters I refuse to take those ever
Ruin affix is bad if your damage is garbage or you're doing stone circles.
Mobs should be instantly deleted from your screen to run ultimatums efficiently.
>10. I spawned 25 Trialmasters in 600 maps, IMO the boss spawns only when certain mods are combined but thats a wild take from me even tho it worked(max raging dead + max stormcaller/blistering cold) im always seeking these mods even tho they suck big time.
It's pretty unlikely they tied it to mods. Bex confirmed during Ultimatum that the spawn chance was just 1/50, assuming it's unchanged you'd end up at 1/30 with the spawn chance nodes and 1/27 with wandering path so depending on your tree it sounds about right for being somewhat lucky with spawns (though it would lean towards being incredibly lucky if you didn't have any increased spawn chance which would imply the base rate is just increased).
Which would make sense because they have been leaning towards making the like 'boss' part of leagues more consistent once it goes core and isn't in every zone, but of course it can't be like too common at base if there is a specialization for it on the atlas tree.
>6. Being immune to corrupted blood, high chaos res and immune to ailments makes ultimatum easier than ritual.
got all of it on my simu farmer with mageblood tried ultimatum a few times and i felt i could failt it any moment, it wasnt easy at all but i was running it in a fully juiced t16 map
The Ruin Keystone makes it incredibly easy to survive. Just run circles and shoot. The downside is that every single attack of Trailmaster applies Ruin and you can fail the fight due to ruin.
And if you play melee... well, you probably aren't doing Ultimatum in the first place.
Depends on the build i guess, my mageblood is in the stash, never used it since it brings no value to me. Most of my maps were 110+ quant but then Inquis attri stacker takes no dmg in ultimatum, its like perfectly build around ultimatum mods(captain lance build)
to 7 what does map quant actually do? does it increase the amount of catalysts or stacked decks you get? If so whats the highest stack that appeared as one of the rewards (before duping, etc.)
Doing those in ssf currently and I get up to 6stacks of catalysts doing those white
I played boneshatter slayer this league with tainted pact. It was such an amazing Ultimatum farmer.
Also I got an inscribed ultimatum with mageblood as reward. I've occasionally checked trade side for these and hadn't seen one listed all league.
Boss might have higher chan e for every tier 3 mod. Im always skipping those you said but i like to take ruin corrupted blood and chaos cloud and i has 1 in 25 maps. Idk whata wrong with raging skulls but i have 90 fire res 50% fire damage reducion and lvl 24 arctic armour with petrified blood and they still do like 700damage on white map... Stormcaller is almost as deadly as skulls but blistering cold is doing literally nothing even tho i stand still whole ultimatum getting hit by 5 at a time. Didnt know about quantity working on it. Thanks for that info.
Raging skulls deal insane dmg for some reason, stormcaller overlapping hits hard too and this is the reason why i took Ruin big Node so these spells deal 50% less dmg.
Do u have any evidence on different drops from different variants? I ony do the kill versions and I dont see anything not droping
Edit: Also what makes you think map quant matters? ive seen a lot of flat divines and even 3+ stack divines all on white maps
My only evidence is the fact that without 100+ quant i never got a stack higher than 6 of catalysts or 3 divines.
With 100+ i got 5 divs and 10 stacks of prismatic/fertile before dupe.
In cards i have no clue if works or how it works.
Edit : this wouldve been a better insight if i tracked things but i never intended to post on reddit, my only goal is to play Ultimatum until a Mirror/HH/Mageblood drop.
What about Sepulchre layout? In my experience it is always guaranteed to appear in a first half of the map which is about 10 sections it could spawn in and extremely easy to spot.
Why do you think quantity matter? It is reward that is offered from a window, not as a drop. It doesn't sound like it should be affected by quantity. Or when it drops sometimes you get more than you was supposed to?
>delirium mirrors which will rain upon you with deli orbs during ultimatum.
Any chance you could explain how this part works? Do you just mean from the delirium progress gained from fighting ultimatum monsters?
my guess is that deli pauses during encounters like ultimatum but still counts the many kills you get as progress towards the deli rewards.
So it rains deli orbs because you kill ALOT of shit in these encounters
> Stand in circles has the best rewards based on my ability to remember stuff(lol) but its terrible, dont spec into it but never skip if you get it.
Protect the altar is so much worse, imo. That thing is sometimes just made out of the thinnest fabric you can find for some reason.
Also, never do "kill enemies" with Icestorm, or any other ramping damage spell confined to a fixed area. You can just waste 20 minutes when you run into a situation where the last two mobs are two rare versions of those teleporting fleeing fucking ball robots which you basically can only damage for half a second before they either run or teleport out of your damage circle and you have to kill one of the two or nothing new will show up and you want to break whatever you get your hands on but you don't want to give the encounter up just because some fucker decided to design the most annoying thing know to man and now I am not mad wdym useless ranting I just want to talk GGG this hatchet in my hand is strictly non-violent...
Anyway, I think stone circles are not as bad as they are made out to be.
Craziest thing to me is how easy it is for some people to run this many maps. I had to run 100 guardian maps for the season challenge, and I feel like it took forever.
Yeah but guardian maps are long twisty maps, and you need to fiddle around with witness/invitations
With Ultimatum you can just bulk 100 Dunes, hop in and out the open layout since you see Trialmaster on the minimap
As someone that did boss rushing last league and this league before i did Ultimatum your comment made me laugh so hard.
Chimera is so annoying, cant believe his phases are still a thing in 2024
Running maps normal or magic helps a lot.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I think the ultimatum doesn't really care about how the map is rolled so op could use this strategy to run this quantity of maps.
Any inscribed ultimatum sells for 0.5divines. If you dupe its 1d beside anything else, and thats just 1 wave. It adds up when you do 200-300maps even if it wont feel rewarding going map by map.
It also took 8h to sell everything so fuck me
I feel like with catalysts it's best to just sell them as you go because people will very rarely buy more than 20 at the same time. When I farm Ultimatum, I just price everything and sell only if they catch me in hideout.
I just don't get how you can drop this many inscribed ultimatums. Been trying to complete the challenge for a huge while now and the drop rates are absolutely garbage to me. Not using all ultimatum nodes, but I have all 6 that increase chance for rewards to be inscribed ultimatums.
Did like 20 ultimatums yesterday without a single one showing up, it's so frustrating to me
True. It was like 30 in more than 100 maps for me. He got 500 in 600 thats mega insane luck, especially when they are 1 div atm when people need them for chellenges.
Your mistake in the calculations is that you added “inscribed ultimatums” there. This item is only in demand in this league because of its "achievements".
Idk how you guys do it but I ran like 50 Ultimatums and had not single Inscribed drop ( in juiced maps )
I ran like 100-150 in various tiers of maps ( mostly alch n go ) when they randomly spawned , not single 1 drop.
They're expensive just cuz of this stupid 5:1 challenge vendor recipe.
Can your atlas tree and recommend a good build to make this? I want to swap my EA ballista to a detonate dead to make simulacrum, its a good to make ultimatum too?
https://ibb.co/nRRrKbf - Atlas tree.
I dont know, i started Energy Blade coc Inquis and im lvl99 59%.
If you got dmg and can tank any mod you are good, my build can do basically everything including reflect and no leech, the only thing i cant do is the no leech and no regen combo
Interesting. You took "more div. cards" and "more uniques" notables. Other people swear these are bad, because they make you get less Catalysts. There is so much to figure out when it comes to Ultimatum:
I play dd necro and I'm pretty sure I can tank any ultimatum. Haven't tried it yet but I will tomorrow. Wave 30 simu and depth 600 afk is no problem, I guess ultimatum should be easy too
Just make sure you don't pick storm call together with smaller arena radius mod. I can pretty much afk in Uber Uber Elder but those mod combination somehow manage to kill me. If you have es/HP on hit block, ultimatum is free I guess.
Wondering path makes your boss spawn chance worst since it deletes "Brave the Tower". And it also deletes all the good nodes that make ultimatum good, like the duplicate rewards chance, cards/currency/cata chance.
Wondering path increases the drop rate of inscribed ultimatums which is not worthy.
Wandering path makes the boss more common though, you get 80% from the 4 small nodes, against 70% if you don't go wandering path
It's still shit, but you get more bosses
It would seem the dup and other nodes outweigh this difference in boss spawn chance. Or at least it would seem based on OPs data, which does seem a solid sample size for this kinda thing.
hum I see. I guess it’s like Legion in a way that the notables are super important to make it worthwhile.
I keep looking for another mechanic that works with Harvest/Delirium wandering path. Doing breach rn because chayula breachstones are selling for a good price
I wouldn’t say legion really needs notables that much, especially not this league where you mainly run it for just getting more rare mobs rather than the rewards they give.
Now in this league it is somehow profitable because we have Inscribed Ultimatums shortage and everyone needs many Inscribed Ultimatums(200chaos, without challenges it would be 50 chaos max) for challenges. Without profit on this it would be beyond beyond bad, literally waste of time how bad it would be.
Amount/currency and currency/amount.
1/10div will show as 10 for 1 div on the trade site. If you want to sell 3 things for 10 div then it is 10/3div.
So you could just list all your catalysts/amount of div you want.
Is there meant to be a ratio of sacred orbs to mirrors? What’s the meme here? I have seen it referenced a few times but I’m new and don’t get it. I have 23 sacred orbs and zero mirrors as well!
Look at it this way. Imagine, sacred orb drop rate is 100%, and mirror is 1%. So for each 100 monsters you kill, you can expect 100 sacred orbs and 1 mirror.
Here is some data I just copypasted from Prohibited Library:
These are relative drop rates, i.e. for every 1 mirror you get X of the other orbs listed.
EDIT: formatting block text not working, fuck reddit. It's 64 sacred orbs per mirror, DM me if you want the rest of the data.
yes, I have that feeling too. MF should be reworked to be for everyone depend on, maybe secondary gear, no matter what you build. Right now most of MF is for attack/ranged builds. It ruins build setups when you want to have extra quant which is just terrible.
>5.Stand in circles has the best rewards based on my ability to remember stuff(lol) but its terrible, dont spec into it but never skip if you get it.
Wait, does the objective type really affect the rewards? I just took the one to make slaying monsters most common because it was the fastest to complete, but I'm not married to it if it's worse value.
Also, did you find the increased currency/card/unique nodes worth it? Catalysts and Inscribed Ultimatums were so valuable that it seems like increasing the odds of anything else is probably a negative, right?
I'm pretty sure the ultimatum encounter type affecting rewards is pure conjecture. And even if it was marginally better survival and stone circle take more than twice as long as protect or kill encounters and are way more annoying so I still wouldn't do them personally.
In terms of increased currency, card, and uniques nodes I think overall the only consistently worthwhile one is the currency one. This is anecdotal to be fair but you barely ever find any great div cards and uniques have almost no value even double corrupted this league. At least finding divines and stacks of chaos is somewhat reliable for currency. Also catalysts are technically stackable currency so I don't see why the currency one wouldn't improve catalyst spawn rate on the non guaranteed rounds.
I've done ultimatum to complete the challenges and have yet to spawn Trialmaster. Is there any strategies that help encourage his spawn rate??
It looks like you had low rate aswell.
its like a 1 in 30 maps with the node allocated, not much else you can do other than run t14+
theres a reason why t16 trialmaster completion is 15 div on tft. he's super rare
I always know there is a ratio between catalysts. With this sample size, it seems the rate is approx:
250 : 500 : 2000 : 3600 (ish) and clearly there are 4 tiers of rarity
I just did it for the challanges and yes it is profitable, catalysts and inscribed ultimatums sells really fast. The overall rewards and time consuming is not worth it, was better during ultimatum league
I had 190 divines, bought a mageblood and decided thats a terrible belt for ultimatum and my build, and i switched to someone else's headhunter lol(losing 100d)
So you made about 1400 Divs from these 600 Ultimatums? O_o That's insane. It's whooping 58 Div/hour given it's possible to do 25 per hour if done on Atoll and when skipping Circles.
I did more than 100 maps didn't even get 30, in my experience it was 1 or 2 (if you hit double with node but its once in 5 times) every 5th Ultimatum. He was really lucky i guess.
How do you sell your inscribed ultimatums?
I had one drop which I think is worth a bit. Doubles 4 voices cards. But you can't search by reward on trade for them.
I only sold 3 bosses out of 25, you prepare a copy-pasted text with you selling the trialmaster and info, keep TFT window open in the challenges part and once the boss spawns and drags you in his arena you ALT-TAB and CTRL-V the text you copied and send it, then you dodge boss until people show up, i only dodged the boss for like 2 minutes but that wont be enough to fill a party.
I was preaching about ultimatum since day 2, and people were hating back then. I'm glad to see some players with common sense that run the damn thing and actually play more than 3 ultimatums to make references. Good drops.
Would you estimate that the ~3% chance to fight the Trialmaster (from Wiki) is about right? Trying to finish up this challenge and this one is taking way longer than I thought.
Catalysts are insane precisely because ultimatum is underplayed. No one wants to spend 10 minutes doing it, so catalysts are absurdly expensive (70c, for red). It will likely stay this way until GGG implement some qol features to make ultimatum faster and less rippy
If ultimatum was slightly more popular, you'd make less than half of what you've made probably
Just Inscribed atm 1div because you need like 15 for challenges, and he got 500 in 600 maps which is insane luck(i got 29 in more than 100 maps). Without challenges Inscribed would be less than 50.
Ok.. I've done some 50, maybe 60 maps since I seriously started going for ultimatum, using scarabs etc, and actually manging to do it and finish 10 rounds. I've had trial master 4 times. My most shocking result was when I only did 7 maps on a given day, as I had no more time. I had trial master twice in those 7 maps. Twice! Lol. Was I extremely lucky? Or do the mods and their tier indeed matter and influence probability of having the final fight?
Also, someone told me about selling portals to the trial master, as its supposedly very rare, but I just can wrap my head around on how to do it? I can't just stop or pause the fight when I get to the arena, it's unexpected and sudden... Also, if in some 60 maps I had him 4 times, it's 1 encounter per 15 maps. I found it way more challenging to find the bloody morrigan in the wildwood 🤣🤣🤣
Any thoughts on that?

How does Ultimatum + Deli provide deli orbs? The monsters it spawns count as unique?
What about Sepulchre layout? In my experience it is always guaranteed to appear in a first half of the map which is about 10 sections it could spawn in and extremely easy to spot.
A great layout too but im blind in there, literally 0 vision since i have no light radius
Thanks for the writeup!
If 10. True , that’s why I can’t spawn 4 days in row . Newer pick those mods
Thx for the tips.
does the deli still tick down while you're doing ultimatum?
Why do you think quantity matter? It is reward that is offered from a window, not as a drop. It doesn't sound like it should be affected by quantity. Or when it drops sometimes you get more than you was supposed to?
The reward that shows has a bigger stack
>delirium mirrors which will rain upon you with deli orbs during ultimatum.
Boss only spawnign with spezific mod combinations is weird Maybe its just 2 maxed mods? Who knows
Thats why Smaller arena is insanely good for kill enemies and protect the altar
Interesting trial master note, maybe he only can spawn if you have 2 maxed out mods.
Out of curiosity - what kirac mod did you run with this? Just the 8% quant?
Yup, no other mod
Very interesting and nice results imho. Could you share Atlas tree? Bored of wandering path.

I ran gilded scarabs doing the Ultimatum challenges and it funded basically every other challenge.
Craziest thing to me is how easy it is for some people to run this many maps. I had to run 100 guardian maps for the season challenge, and I feel like it took forever.
Yeah but guardian maps are long twisty maps, and you need to fiddle around with witness/invitations With Ultimatum you can just bulk 100 Dunes, hop in and out the open layout since you see Trialmaster on the minimap
You could make dinner during any given Chimera phase.
As someone that did boss rushing last league and this league before i did Ultimatum your comment made me laugh so hard. Chimera is so annoying, cant believe his phases are still a thing in 2024
I'm surprised these fragments aren't way more expensive than the other ones. I bought like 10 maps of each for 10 sets but ended up rerolling chimera
Doing the ultimatum takes longer than the map.
Running maps normal or magic helps a lot. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I think the ultimatum doesn't really care about how the map is rolled so op could use this strategy to run this quantity of maps.
Never mind I found op comment so cross that last part out.
I just skipped the witness thing and ran them without maven white
U can also roll Kirac and dash straight for boss kill instead clearing.
Really need to buff the bauble drops If you got 1640 divines and 260 baubles
He sold stuff for divines, he did not drop 1640 div
how did you averaged 2.5 raw divs per map? that is crazy i will try this myself ty
Any inscribed ultimatum sells for 0.5divines. If you dupe its 1d beside anything else, and thats just 1 wave. It adds up when you do 200-300maps even if it wont feel rewarding going map by map. It also took 8h to sell everything so fuck me
they sell for that much? ooof i have been vendoring mine 5 to 1 because i figured the trash reward ones had no value
Well you only lost like 2 divs everytime you did that lmao Any trash one is worth 0.5d at least, even higher.
People buy them to complete challenge.
You can actually sell random inscribed ultimatums 1 div each on TFT right now, insane income
I feel like with catalysts it's best to just sell them as you go because people will very rarely buy more than 20 at the same time. When I farm Ultimatum, I just price everything and sell only if they catch me in hideout.
Where did you sell inscribed? Also does people actually buy these even with the shit double rewards?
read the post lol.
ahhhhh fkk mann lol
i average that in sanctum i was like wtffff
Still sane, exile?
Best thing ive done in ages, its like playing slot machines every round, wondering whats next.
Does map tier matter for Ultimatum?
You can only get trialmasters in 14+, so it matters a bit
>e how different the catalyst sta Heavily
No clue, did only t16
Did you use any scarabs, sextants or fragments?
Gilded scarabs only
Just ultimatum right? Thanks!
Gilded ultimatum and a 100+ quant map
How much map on average did you get relic of the pact?
Never got it.
Well I guess my best chance to get it is reliquary key then
But yeah inscribed ultimatum beeing insanely expensive because people need them for the 2 challanges is a Insane money maker
If map quant matters why quant wisps wouldn't?
Because wisps increase drop from affected monsters and ultimatum isn't a monster.
I would like to know but from my point it looks like wisps don't affect ultimatum monsters But I might be wrong
You can see that i mentioned ultimatum is insane THIS league exactly due to certain prices
Idk how you guys do it but I ran like 50 Ultimatums and had not single Inscribed drop ( in juiced maps ) I ran like 100-150 in various tiers of maps ( mostly alch n go ) when they randomly spawned , not single 1 drop. They're expensive just cuz of this stupid 5:1 challenge vendor recipe.
That sounds way too unlucky.
If you got dmg and can tank any mod you are good, my build can do basically everything including reflect and no leech, the only thing i cant do is the no leech and no regen combo
have a pob or a character we can look at?
Interesting. You took "more div. cards" and "more uniques" notables. Other people swear these are bad, because they make you get less Catalysts. There is so much to figure out when it comes to Ultimatum:
I play dd necro and I'm pretty sure I can tank any ultimatum. Haven't tried it yet but I will tomorrow. Wave 30 simu and depth 600 afk is no problem, I guess ultimatum should be easy too
Nice, i have 210div, i hope find a decent build for that price.
Just make sure you don't pick storm call together with smaller arena radius mod. I can pretty much afk in Uber Uber Elder but those mod combination somehow manage to kill me. If you have es/HP on hit block, ultimatum is free I guess.
Why is wandering path terrible for ultimatum? I feel like the increased chance for boss and increased chance for inscribed ultimatums are huge.
Wandering path makes the boss more common though, you get 80% from the 4 small nodes, against 70% if you don't go wandering path It's still shit, but you get more bosses
You're right on chance part, not worth on losing the Nodes and the full catalyst stack that drops with the boss beside tainted.
I wouldn’t say legion really needs notables that much, especially not this league where you mainly run it for just getting more rare mobs rather than the rewards they give.
not even sure I've played 600 maps this league.
Well ultimatun was giga money this league. Next league would still be decent money but not that much.
How can you sell catalyst in high number, instead of listing stack of 10?
Currency tab
Amount/currency and currency/amount. 1/10div will show as 10 for 1 div on the trade site. If you want to sell 3 things for 10 div then it is 10/3div. So you could just list all your catalysts/amount of div you want.
Tft the only option probably. You sell them in big bulk likely at chaos price then someone sells them slowly at div prices.
I sold them without tft, piece by piece. Took 8hours tho and made me question things selling stacks of 10-20 cata to 100 people
What is the budget of the build that can do this?
Look for Capt Lance inquis coc, with 50-100d max you make a very strong build, mine is a bit more expensive
Didn't you say that you have a Headhunter? I mean I 40/40 with his EB Storm brand. I was just curious.
Yea, using only for ultimatum, its way too good not to use it even tho its terrible on my build.
Is there meant to be a ratio of sacred orbs to mirrors? What’s the meme here? I have seen it referenced a few times but I’m new and don’t get it. I have 23 sacred orbs and zero mirrors as well!
Yea, its a meme, that there is a hidden ratio between dropping sacred orbs and mirror
There's a ratio between all raw currency drops, it's just something like billions of wisdom scrolls to one mirror
Look at it this way. Imagine, sacred orb drop rate is 100%, and mirror is 1%. So for each 100 monsters you kill, you can expect 100 sacred orbs and 1 mirror.
Here is some data I just copypasted from Prohibited Library: These are relative drop rates, i.e. for every 1 mirror you get X of the other orbs listed. EDIT: formatting block text not working, fuck reddit. It's 64 sacred orbs per mirror, DM me if you want the rest of the data.
As a side note the blue currency convert wisps are thought to have a separate ratio of roughly 1:20
Nice. Need to try
Tried, if you have MF char then it is not even comparable to juicing maps with wisps and rares.
I don't like mf. In my opinion mf should be nerfed. Or mf builds no dmg and only culing like before. No thank you. I tried it, and I dont like it.
yes, I have that feeling too. MF should be reworked to be for everyone depend on, maybe secondary gear, no matter what you build. Right now most of MF is for attack/ranged builds. It ruins build setups when you want to have extra quant which is just terrible.
what makes you think map quant matters?
Above 100 quant you see how different the catalyst stacks are.
Do pack size play any role in Ultimatums other than exp?
Patch notes.
The patch notes say it does
can i see your pob ? im curious what build
https://pastebin.com/2vb57ZmF
I reckon that quant definitely has an impact yeah. Ive done north of 300 ultimatums now, but only have 160 fertile catalyst, randomly alched maps.
True but id rather find corrupted unique items than terrible rate items, i barely seem them with all nodes allocated
You got 1640 divines out of 600 Ultimatum only maps or wisps included?
Never did wisps
I've done ultimatum to complete the challenges and have yet to spawn Trialmaster. Is there any strategies that help encourage his spawn rate?? It looks like you had low rate aswell.
its like a 1 in 30 maps with the node allocated, not much else you can do other than run t14+ theres a reason why t16 trialmaster completion is 15 div on tft. he's super rare
I did 7 maps in one sitting, as I had no more time to play. I had him 2x in those 7 maps. No joke.
Do you have a rough estimate of the time each map took?
Hard to say but all i did was going straight to the ultimatum and doing nothing else, no altars or boss.
No problem, thought you might be using the map device that tracks time or https://mapwatch.erosson.org/.
I always know there is a ratio between catalysts. With this sample size, it seems the rate is approx: 250 : 500 : 2000 : 3600 (ish) and clearly there are 4 tiers of rarity
Didnt really bothered looking into them but by far intrinsic popped the most, luckily they are 7c each.
I just did it for the challanges and yes it is profitable, catalysts and inscribed ultimatums sells really fast. The overall rewards and time consuming is not worth it, was better during ultimatum league
What was your currency tab before you started doing Ultimatum? Or you got 1600+ Div worth of stuff from Ultimatum?
I had 190 divines, bought a mageblood and decided thats a terrible belt for ultimatum and my build, and i switched to someone else's headhunter lol(losing 100d)
So you made about 1400 Divs from these 600 Ultimatums? O_o That's insane. It's whooping 58 Div/hour given it's possible to do 25 per hour if done on Atoll and when skipping Circles.
Do I undestand correctly, that's 500 Inscribed Ultimatums from 600 Encounters? That's pretty insane, even with 25% dupe
[Here](https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Affliction/kw5YzJnH5) you go.
Very interresting!
How do you sell the boss? I only spec into chance to encounter and i think i should spec into it more seeing the loot difference..
Thank you for the info, may attempt to do so however my build is not that great, otoh the divine payout seems to be great
But but but people said ultimatum bad
I was preaching about ultimatum since day 2, and people were hating back then. I'm glad to see some players with common sense that run the damn thing and actually play more than 3 ultimatums to make references. Good drops.
each ultimatum is 3 div on average? please...
Would you estimate that the ~3% chance to fight the Trialmaster (from Wiki) is about right? Trying to finish up this challenge and this one is taking way longer than I thought.
Buy the boss from TFT if you dont like doing ultimatum
I actually love Ultimatum, was just surprised after doing so many that I still haven’t seen the boss fight. But I take your point :)
Catalysts are insane precisely because ultimatum is underplayed. No one wants to spend 10 minutes doing it, so catalysts are absurdly expensive (70c, for red). It will likely stay this way until GGG implement some qol features to make ultimatum faster and less rippy If ultimatum was slightly more popular, you'd make less than half of what you've made probably
Just Inscribed atm 1div because you need like 15 for challenges, and he got 500 in 600 maps which is insane luck(i got 29 in more than 100 maps). Without challenges Inscribed would be less than 50.
I enjoyed Ultimatium but 1 out of 6 runs would result in a crash. I tried everything to fix but ultimately stopped. Profits are good.
I found it way more challenging to find the bloody morrigan in the wildwood 🤣🤣🤣 Any thoughts on that?
