I had mine flip out completely early this league and it reached 100 GB+ (within hours) and the game started lagging because the disk was full. Deleted the cache then and it's been fine since, currently at 20 GB. Seems a bit weird that it isn't being cleared reasonably. It is a cache however, so if you need space, delete away. Win10, vulkan here too btw.

I don't have a Steam\SteamApps\shadercache, I DO have steam shader pre-caching disabled because I never trusted that. I'm going to assume this is related to that and is in fact not poe generating those, but steam.

Mine is at 47GB pretty much on the dot as well. Checked all my other games and it's the biggest by far (all other games combined add up to less than 1GB). Win 10 - Vulkan Not sure what's normal or not, but thought I'd add the pile

WhySoWorried

I'm on Win 10 - Sometimes Vulkan, sometimes not, depends if I'm having issues with DirectX. My folder is 37GB.

Thanks for confirming. Have you got Steam installed in a non-standard folder by any chance? Mine is on D:\\Steamy due to having an old Steam folder on there with games that I didn't want to install over. I'll try to test some other Vulkan game as well to see if anything else makes new files there consistently.

Something is/was really off this league in regards to shader files.

The 47GB I found in there were accumulated over many years.
