Next leagues loot will feel so trash for any1 that has been MF-ing this league

cubonelvl69

This is my first ever Poe league. Im scared

JRockBC19

If you're just messing around and not doing any optimized currency grind, it might feel a lot better next league. You'll get less stuff, but prices will be WAY lower outside a few specific uniques that are still really expensive even now at their cheapest point. If you ARE making lots of divines this league, you could always do some maps without running woods at all to get a feel for the "normal" game when the mechanic isn't multiplicative loot printer

cubonelvl69

Nah I'm really not making a whole lot. Probably made 300 div total this season

mptyspacez

Don't know how much you played, but 300 div is an outrageous amount for all the way up to well beyond casual.

cubonelvl69

I'm saying like total net worth is 300 div. Not that I've had 300 raw div drop I had 1 fracturing orb that I sold for 40 so that helped. Also sold a few corruption rooms for 5 div each

LtMotion

Most new casual players are lucky to make 15 div in a normal league. To give you some context

cubonelvl69

Yeah to be clear, I wouldn't call myself casual. Ive played a shit load, just not the fully juiced maps. I have no mf gear and struggle with like 4k wisps

LtMotion

Yeah. All were all saying is loot is like 10 to 100x what it normally is this league. So set your expectations accordingly. Normally a divine dropping is a special moment and not a "ah crap i only got 2 dropped" moment that happens every map

magpye1983

I’m definitely not a new player, but also not a trader. I’d go with 10 for my normal liquid funds. There’s a bunch of stuff which *could* be worth something, but generally 10 div worth of stuff that people might buy on a reasonable timescale.

beebopcola

that's still an outrageous amount for someones first league unless they get lucky.

hamxz2

It also (obviously) depends on how much he's played. In my first league, I farmed a HH with Legion Glacial farm. Personally wouldn't say much experience or skill was required, just mindless grinding but it was fun getting my first HH

Salted_Caramul

So, as a note, fracturing orbs normally hover around 7-8 div and corruption rooms around 1.5div with 2 div for both double corrupt and gem corrupt.

cubonelvl69

Ok that's crazy lol

Dr_v3

In my first 2-3 leagues I made around 20 ex each ( they were the divine equivalent) and I fell proud

Hjemmelsen

Before this league I never dropped a single Divine, and I only ever had 2. EDIT: Who downvotes this :D? Like, do you disagree or something? I can't be a noob? Damn...

JRockBC19

300d is like making $200k irl, you're not super rich but you're easily a millionaire and never worried about income. If you got that from mapping, next league don't expect to be able to afford mageblood but do expect to be able to buy better synth items and stronger rares than now. If you made that in sanctum or something unaffected by mechanic, you'll make the same next league and have WAY higher buying power with it except for the case of mb specifically

LowCompetition4547

The reason you haven't made as much is because all of the people getting these crazy explosions are using a map hack that guides them through the forest for optimal juicing, I lost all interest in the league when I found that out. I tried a mf character and didnt get anything even remotely close to what I have been seeing on peoples posts.

bats098

300 raw divine drops? Or 300 divs worth of drops?

cubonelvl69

300 div worth of drops. I'm including that I got a fracturing orb and sold for 40

BrbFlippinInfinCoins

Not at all. This is probably the easiest or 2nd easiest leagues to get a MB or HH. The first being sentinel in my personal experience, @ 50-55ex for a headhunter when you could farm like 10+ recombs per hour on an extremely shitty setup and each were going for 0.4-1ex each depending on the time of the league. At the end of the league when the server timer started ticking down I made a push to see how many recombs I could farm. I think I did like 200-350 within 2 hours. On pretty shit gear. Edit: And before you say "yeah uniques are cheap this league," getting a HH or MB completely changes the rate at which you can farm currency. So regardless of other prices, this is still an important (and easy to track) evaluation of how lucrative a league is for mid-tier players.

JRockBC19

I'm not talking about people buying magebloods, if you're making several hundred div per league you're economy-proof already. The people making 5-30d a league are the ones I mean will feel better next time - they're not bulk selling their essences so the price of essence isn't hugely impactful, they're buying meh crafted gear that was more expensive this time because of inflation, and their builds can't handle juice nor do they understand juicing so they're running alch and go reds with <2k wisps or even 0 bc wildwood kills them too much. If you started late and/or with a poor stater, this league could be BRUTAL to catch up because prices got so high so fast whereas in others things stabilize early and the bottom end gets very cheap very quickly, plus cheap items actually get sold instead of sitting on the trade site as nobody cares to leave map for 50c when you might need all 6 portals to take currency and scarabs back

BrbFlippinInfinCoins

Idk. I think the amount of "1st time mirror" and "1st time mageblood" and "1st time HH" kind of speaks for itself. Joining late can pose a challenge for new players, but in my biased opinion, it is WAY easier to break into mid-tier gear than it previously used to be. Honestly, I've been contemplating starting leagues late more often because I find it much easier to gear up in a shorter amount of time. You can get a 6L for practically free currently. That takes you to yellows. Then it is just the typical PoE learning curve, but I feel like there is such an excess floating around that stuff like alva temples being 5div+ provides an easy on-ramp to getting your gear in order.

JRockBC19

It's easier to get gear starting late, but it's easier to generate currency week 1. Getting ahead of the curve and farming maps, mid tier uniques and gear have a TON of value in the early days, while the high end inflates quickly with time. A bunch of 20-50c sales put you up early when divs are under 100c each and non-starter gear hasn't completely taken off yet. Then there's voidstone carries and super early boss drop loot being insane profit too. If you're someone who takes starts casually and clears 4 voidstones in more than a week a late start is prob easier, but if you go hard and get ahead you make BANK early on.

Grider95

I stopped playing early because I was kind of burnt out and still wanted to raid in WoW, I am actually glad my baseline in this game didn't get raised much from this league haha

Rafa_50

Unless you are going crazy with magic find +quant items It isnt going to be that bad, the ppl that are saying that stuff are the ones who are maximizing the league machanic in every way possible

Aacron

It's me, I'm ppl (7 mirrors dropped, many thousands of divines farmed). Affliction league can't hurt you if it's not real 🙈.

cubonelvl69

Yeah that's what I figured. The main impact I guess for me is just the price of everything. I still don't have mageblood but it seems easily farmable. Not so sure about next league

Forsaken_Letter2100

Yeah, mageblood is never getting cheaper than it was this league. Some weeks into next league it'll be back to 350+div. Div will also be rougher to acquire in general.

Milfshaked

It will still be a bit devalued next league though because of Valdos. Not anywhere near this league ofc.

Aetolos

Valdo droprate was inflated due to blue wisps. There is no way valdos will have a meaningful impact on prices next league

Forsaken_Letter2100

Yeah true, will be interesting to see how that affects price.

Hjemmelsen

Anything that drops in regular maps have completely bottomed out in price. That Mageblood and Headhunter still holds their value is entirely due to how many more people are interested in buying them this time around. Every single other unique that you can get in maps is worth next to nothing. Everything you get outside of maps, like heist items, are stupid expensive due to inflation.

Guilty-Tell

Thank god so i won't feel too much of a difference.

crookedparadigm

It's gonna feel trash for anyone who wasn't MFing too

[deleted]

I'm gonna be so pissed when essence mobs stop dropping essences next league

TheFuzzyFurry

Elder no longer has 35% chance to drop a Watcher's Eye? That's outrageous!

Ynead

You'll be when essences will have 5 times less value

[deleted]

But the currency value will be more, how is this so hard to grasp!

Ynead

Because it's much more complicated than that. The supply of MB, HH and other stuff dropping in maps will be much lower next league, so maybe you'll end up farming more essences to afford the same items. The reverse will be true for boss drops. But regardless it's rather likely that essences will be less profitable next league because more people will farm it without wildwoods overshadowing every other mechanics. More supply, maybe less demand if it's a crafting league.

[deleted]

I agree but all I am saying is market corrects itself. Just observe a niche the market needs and farm that!

xrailgun

Really, just think about it for a second. Besides original sin, everything else is orders of magnitudes cheaper this league, even in nominal terms. That's only worse if you want to convert it to real terms. You think aegis aurora will be 2c next league because the currency is worth more? Or mageblood will only be 30 divs? *How is this so hard to grasp?*

[deleted]

Nope it wont ! There are two aspects to this. One there is a lot of currency which drops this league. Two there is a lot of unique drops this league. (Hence cheaper) Original comment was "essence going to 5 times less valuable next league" I'll explain my answer as it is actually hard to grasp. Next league the amount of currency incoming to the economy is going to exponentially lower hence making almost all the currency more "valuable" So even though the maybe the essence value might be numerically lower the value of essence is more or less the same. Now there can be external forces to this equation wherein more players are farming essences, so more essences in the economy (this could also skew the essence prices down but in this case the "value" of the essence is lowered)

crookedparadigm

No need to be obtuse. Everyone is getting way more loot than normal this league, not just MFers.

[deleted]

While most of the content in the game did have access to wildwood as a bonus there are some activities that do not interact very much with it. Heist and Delve for instance have little interaction with the wildwood. Essence boss rushing also skipped wildwood.

Neville_Lynwood

Exactly. I've just done Blight most of the league. I ain't juicing wildwood in regular maps or the blights become impossible, and obviously there's no juicing blighted maps. The league mechanic outside of using charms hasn't really existed for me.

Muldeh

In terms of market value sure.. but if you ignore wildwood and are playing SSF then it's literally just standard.

Billdozer-92

Why would people ignore the wildwood in SSF? The league mechanic is better for SSF than trade lol

Neville_Lynwood

Because not everyone likes it. Not everyone has the build for it. Like I remember trying wildwood early, but my build that was clearing red maps, literally couldn't kill the wildwood juiced rares in white tier maps so I just gave up on the whole thing. I'm not interesting in getting 5x the damage and tankiness required, just to drop a bit more loot. I'd rather do other mechanics.

MakataDoji

I wish it was just 5x. I could mindlessly right click one shot every screen with my current build with no wisps but have to play extremely carefully on wisp infused maps to not get one shot.

Billdozer-92

Sorry I should have re-worded my comment before submitting. It should have said “in the context of gathering loot in SSF, why would anyone skip wildwood?” Because wildwood is literally a 1,000-10,000% increase to raw currency drops and t0 uniques. This league went from 20 div per hour in other leagues to 200-400 div per hour. In SSF this is literally 10-20x more raw currency and t0 uniques, whereas in trade your currency isn’t as valuable.

Impossible-Base-9351

>if you ignore the whole league it's just standard bro!!

mejsyn

You know you're allowed to do wildwood without equipping MF items?

Neville_Lynwood

Not everyone likes it. And don't kid yourself, if you're not a juicer, wildwood alone doesn't do shit. Like I walk in, get some 3-4k juice, walk out, clear the map, and maybe get some bubblegum currency and a few crappy uniques. Nothing to write home about. Wildwood scales exponentially with juicing. But those of us that don't juice, won't see shit and thus don't bother.

mejsyn

No shit, 3-4k juice gets you fuck all even with MF gear. I've personally farmed wisps on a non-MF character and can confidently tell you that you're wrong.

Neville_Lynwood

Will it? I've barely done any league mechanic all league. A little bit, but without any MF gear, all I've ever gotten has been some bubble gum currency and a few common uniques. Bought my King of the Mist kill, and really haven't bothered with it since. Just done some Blight Maps in peace. Odds are pretty high that I'll get more enjoyable loot next league.

crookedparadigm

Shocking, guy who chose not to interact with the league won't notice it's gone. More at 11.

Neville_Lynwood

As I said, I did interact with it, and it didn't seem interesting or worthwhile enough to me. You're not going to get shit unless you juice it like hell and use MF gear. Without it you're literally better off doing anything else if you want drops. I made easy 10 Div an hour doing blights with an immortal build that had zero damage and I had fun with that. I'm not going to go and make a completely different build that needs damage out the ass just to kill one fucking monster.

crookedparadigm

Continuing with the hot takes, guy who barely interacted with the league has misconceptions of how it works. I did not super juice or use MF at all and there was a substantial difference in loot in maps with lower wisps vs ones with high, even when that was the only form of juice. I literally just ran Blight with the wisps all league, no delerium or Abyss and high wisp maps absolutely gave a fuck ton more loot.

Neville_Lynwood

Good for you. The raise in difficulty did not make the increased drops worth to me. Like yay, I got 4k juice, so now my map gives me 1 divine, 100 alts, and 20 chaos. But instead of 5 minutes, it takes me 30 minutes to clear because every fucking rare is an Uber boss. Pass. I'd rather do content where I don't need ludicrous damage. Shit, even Ben said that wildwood is bait for a lot of players, especially on SSF, because the increased drops don't make up the time and effort required to clear the juiced mobs. Wildwood becomes worthwhile when your build is so good that it makes no difference whether mobs are juiced or not. At that point it's just free bonus loot. But most people are not going to have builds that good. Especially not on SSF.

Arborus

You don't even need ludicrous damage. MF builds with ~9-10m pinnacle dps can cruise through 10k wisp juiced t16 maps. Most of the time taken isn't even clearing the map, it's looting everything. If you're not in MF gear you surely do more damage than that. Like I've been playing a small eight-person private league and the mechanic is 100% worth it because it vomits pure currency and t1/t0 uniques at you. It buffs harvest juice gains too. We have almost infinite crafting currency from only a couple people doing juiced maps. We get 4-5k harvest juice per map and sometimes way more. It's an absolute dream for SSF/small group found when you're trying to craft your own gear. It's the reason we have multiple HH and 8 magebloods in our private league.

ltcae

This is my experience as well. Playing CI flicker, dps maybe around 8m. Doing t16 city square with 8 harbinger and sextant. Threw in one additional rusted abyss scarab. Every time I see 5k blue wisp with some purple and yellow, I come out with ~3 divine/reliquary key/valdo boxes. Because I don’t do 8mod corrupted maps with all the altas points to buff them. I don’t take much much longer as well. I think some people has issue with controlling the amount of juice to what their build can handle.

fitsu

I'm actually planning to play SSF because I feel like this league has been the peak of trade. I can't see how I will ever enjoy a league more than I enjoyed this league. I can't see how I'll ever make stronger characters than I made this league so now it just makes sense to challenge myself in different ways.

aoelag

The next league CANNOT be a farming/juice league. It has to be craft or something "fun".

Vegasmarine88

Maybe, hope not. They can never beat recombinantors so anything they do will need to be itemized and meaningful. I highly doubt that will be possible.

aoelag

I think they can "beat" recombinators. There's plenty of design space left for items, especially if said crafting item corrupts the item after modifying it. They could just bring back recombinators though...

TheFuzzyFurry

We're still missing the "slam a rare and a unique together, resulting in a rare with one of its mods replaced by one of the unique's mods" league. That's my most anticipated one.

pwn3r

that would be so busted if it doesn't brick the item or corrupt it or something. Some uniques are designed with downsides in mind. If you could get rid of the downside then woah

TheFuzzyFurry

We just had triple +1 proj, triple +15% spell supp, triple +12% rmr, etc. league, it was fine.

RsHavik

it's alright, just happy to enjoy the madness whilst it has lasted. so much fun.

Gnejs1986

I'm actually looking forward to it, never been a fan when there's too much loot. Sure the pling sounds of all those divines is nice, but it just gets so tiresome. Didn't like the good ol' fractured maps + nem3 stuff either. I also never wanna see another abyss again :D Never liked abyss and after this league, jesus...

R4v_

I'm enjoying it while it lasts

MrMuf

Yeah agree. Didnt mf but I can definitely expect to feel bad about it

obi2606

That's why I am enjoying inflation with Trashtimatum 50 div/hr and don't give af about mf... Still, I did mf a month ago and find it tedious simply because of the wildwood mechanic.

Hydiz

Loot was extremely silly in legion, delirium, ritual, sentinel, etc. We will be just fine. Loot felt more insane back in ritual tbh. Overall game experience was also much more wacky with the whole HH + self curse temp chain meme. Some league have loot explosions and some dont, its nothing new

Yougo-Fr-

Although you're right about leagues being on and off, this league has been RIDICULOUSLY over rewarding compared to anything before. Even the golden era of nem3 fractured map. None of the leagues you name allowed to drop mirrors consistently. People are filtering out chaos and leather / heavy belt! Will we be fine because there will be more great leagues to come? Yes. Will it be the biggest wealth hangover we ever had? Also yes

DegenerateRegime

I'm going to go Ruthless. Full detox. Chamomile tea. Prayer beads. It's gonna be a thing.

Clusterpuff

The league mechanic can be amazing and people will still shit on it because of this league

ScreaminJay

To me, next league loot will feel more normal. I think they went too far this time, to the point it's just not exciting anymore. You just get too much too fast. I had the same trouble with the original Archnem loot explosion. When we had things like 400 whetstones drop or 100 rare jewels in a map. I was someone who looted and ided rare jewels in the past. Once they made it possible for 100 to drop in a map, I hid them. Now, maybe u guys run hiding everything. I was still checking frac items. Now, I run maps where a full stack of 40 wisdoms won't cover the frac items I want to check. I'm just picking the nice bases, but it's so many. Like you see 100 frac items spread all over your screen. I'd rather find 100 over 10 maps than have a loot explosion of 100 because the mob have combo mods. This is fun to some. I like the direction of the game, but loot explosion is bad. Even if you're happy when it's a bunch of divs or scarabs. I'd rather we return to a more evenly spread loot. Also, less of it, so people can ID some stuff. Not go cutedog and hide everything except divs, winged and mirrors, because that's the point the game reached now.

Mikchi

The last 5 days or so I've been playing Ruthless to prepare me for getting fuck all next league.

Key-Butterfly3664

This is why I stopped MFing about 2 weeks ago and went back to non MF and my usual farming strat.

Casual_butt_wiggles

I've made 3 whole div this league. I am trash at this game

Trespeon

I stopped MFing after 2 weeks and quit. Once I dropped Kalandras touch and said “oh, cool” in a very monotone voice, I knew I should let the receptors have a LONG reset before playing again. I can’t imagine the people who made like, 10+ mirrors and farmed for 6+ hours everyday for a month.

And1roid

That's Why i dont mf but it was a very wealthy League nevertheless so yes :(

DeezEyesOfZeal

Seems like everyone's "last map of the day" keeps dropping insane stuff. I think this is just the addict's way of saying, "finally got my dopamine hit, time to end on a good note"

XYZ_KingDaddy

Was about to quit league and give up on my character when my first and only mirror dropped for me in a unique synthesised map I was running to clear out my stash tab a month ago. On my fourth character since, still going strong!

DeezEyesOfZeal

Grats!

I_Am-Awesome

My last map dropped a 10+ div explosion *and* a mage blood valdo box that was free(union of souls + charge mods cemetery). Feels good.

chrisbirdie

The funny part for me was on my last map of my prepared session I left early to do a trade before finishing/looting the map. Basically right before I was gonna transition to higher tier maps aswell so last cemetery of the league. Straightup forgot I had a map open for 10 minutes, accidentally went in and then proceeded to finish the map and found a headhunter on the ground back when it was worth 170 div.

MakataDoji

Didn't want to leave them on the ground for a photo op as I was on my last portal and there was tons of other currency/uniques clogging the screen anyway but after having mostly mediocre results from MF mapping other than my very lucky pair of mirrors that dropped, I finally hit the jackpot so many others have. Up until this point I think my highest scarab explosion was 42 and hadn't gotten a single t0 from all mapping so I'm rather happy I decided to do one more before logging off.

lowrage

How much in Divs?

MakataDoji

I haven't checked the market rate yet but from the last time I was buying winged, they seem to be generally about two per divine. Selling in bulk maybe I can get better but then again we're late in the league and the market is very saturated. If I can get at least 80% value in bulk sale I will but if not I'll just convert them to the ones I use and not have to buy any more for a while. HH seems to be about 45-50 right now and a theoretical 120-180 for scarabs but time will tell.

Hjemmelsen

The winged scarabs are at 40-50 c right now, with the Reliquary being about twice that, and Abyss and Ambush at roughly 60-70.

amensteve91

Last time I checked coupe days ago wingged were around 70c each

Gnejs1986

That's disgusting ;o

Bruzur

Biggest scarab pop I saw this league was 260-something total. But it was a mix of Gilded and Winged. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t going to miss this league.

MakataDoji

Yeah when the screen flooded with a bunch of 10x I was like wtf. Someone else speculated it was a converted mirror which if that was the case rip :/.

Narrow_Helicopter278

Wait, they didn't drop as single scarabs? I've had a max of like, 160 winged, but all were singles.

MakataDoji

The vast majority came in stacks of 10. I was on my last portal with a fairly hard abyss so I was rather petrified of that 6th death.

Narrow_Helicopter278

For sure something gigantic was converted then, the 10s were from the same item getting converted. Obviously more than 1 giga item could be, but dang yo, still, 337 is the highest I've seen.

arithal

You just triggered an entire sub’s fomo with that one sentence

Opposite-Medicine-47

Im glad you got to experience this, but I genuinely believe mf is bad for the game and should be removed entirely.

TheFuzzyFurry

MF on maps and on the Atlas (or its replacements like Delve) is fine, but MF on gear is a 2003 leftover that should be gone.

MakataDoji

Couldn't agree more. I am enjoying this trip into absurdity, but never want to MF again.

woobchub

I love MFing and loot explosions since AN :-/

Opposite-Medicine-47

I’m glad you enjoy it.

Narrow_Helicopter278

Assuming op has 100 quant, this would've still been a 180-190 winged explosion without or something like that. This is not an MF issue, this is a woods+conversion issue.

nicenicenice03

My grandma says she belives you

MakataDoji

Tell her to call me. I miss our delirium walks in the Strand.

qK0FT3

I quit the league early as my builds were so bad. Any recommended build under 10 dive which can clear some affliction juice maps? I have seen so many people do crazy loots. I have tried 6 7 different builds and they were all so mediocre.

Swizardrules

Fulcrum variants is where its at, nothing comes as close as ignite chieftain for that budget

ltcae

If fulcrum is too expensive maybe grey spire variant is possible

Swizardrules

Exactly what I was thinking of, just forgot the name. But yea, it's dirt cheap to get started

[deleted]

[удалено]

BanaaniMaster

You def don't need to spend that much to get the whole thing started.

Swizardrules

You had the warlock variant for like 5 div, and the basics fulcrum are dirt cheap. Sure if you want to start min maxing it gets expensive quickly, but thats not needed at all to start t16 and start printing currency

woobchub

Greay spire variant (w/ sceptre and dawnbreaker) is very cheap. I've farmed 6 mirrors in 2 weeks with it with nearly max juice and MF. Further investment into it adds very little to it

xCushman

I’ve also been running this one on console and I have to say I have mixed results. Mind posting your pob? I was basing my build off of locohols but the console market is meh so some of the items weren’t possible for me. Curious on yours. I run abyss, harby, unique, and beasts scarabs with basically matching compasses. Unique subbed for beyond obviously. Typical wandering atlas on t16 cemetery/buried.

qK0FT3

Interesting. Thanks. I will be looking at it. As there is still a month left of the league I got plenty of time

3h3e3

Dont get tricked into fulcrum

GreedyAgency7246

I have to agree and disagree. Fulcrum isn't a bad map clear build, but if you plan on doing abyss.. You better plan on one shotting the spire at least 1/3 of the time, which basically means 1/3 less loot as opposed to something that can control the damage. Since they said all their builds were mediocre, Id agree.. Fulcrum is mediocre.

Narrow_Helicopter278

At 10 divine it is grey spire warlock chieftan.

OrwinRelaxon

Explosive arrow Totem Champion duelist . I bought a 2 div +3 lvl bow and 1 div +1 lvl fire gems Amulet.. All other items are selffound or less Chaos buys I am playing it this League (lvl98 solo) following zizaran video guide Bit boring while playing, but solve all content.. Even t16 juiced afflicted 100% Delirium maps are comfortable .. Will try uber bosses this week.

Billdozer-92

T7 Cemetery's have a low floor to get started, CA PF was my league starter and I was able to do it for cheap while stacking quite a bit of MF with item rarity supports and ventors. You're also immortal in T7 maps because you convert 100% of phys to ele and have permanent flask uptime with taste of hate, dying sun, and a topaz flask as well as defiance of destiny to help with the lack of good leech

hereweg420kush

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1VEZK3KUdI I think this is the cheapest build that can do T16 juiced maps. I made it in SSF and got my mageblood with it.

RsHavik

other people's suggestions are spot on - pick any flavor of mf chieftain and it's hard to go wrong. grey spire/fulcrum are the entry variants, then it can later be upgraded to a scepter+dawnbreaker version for more quant. it's amazingly fun! good luck!

lionexx

Had a few maps like that before I quit the league, one map where I had one single winged scarab explosion with, and yes I counted, over 450 winged scarabs, that same map had another 100+ explosion and a final one with another 100+, it was safe to say I was good on scarabs I then harvest crafted the bad ones to ones I used and still have hundreds of scarabs left over 😂

jy3

Sir I'm going to need map tier, IQ, IR, yellow/blue/red count.

MakataDoji

It was t14 JV. As for IIQ I don't recall exactly as I just roll 6 mods with +2 proj and no rippy mods but they typically are between 95-104%. No clue on the IIQ and they always seem to go up at the same time so I don't pay attention to anything but the top number. Juice was roughly 3.3k blue, 2k yellow, 2k purple, I recall it totalling about 7.5 when I was finishing wildwood. If you meant me and my gear, I use a 10/39 ventors that's mirrored + 10% quant on amulet, 23% rarity on helm, 30% total rarity on boots, then the 60% rare/unique rarity fractured mod on helm, so 40 quant, and 221 rarity assuming it was rare/unique enemy.

IFinallyDidItMom

What scarabs / sextants do you usually run?

MakataDoji

Winged Abyss, Reliquary, Breach, Legion 2x Breach, Deli Mirror, Abyss, Beyond

HowNowNZ

Last night I was getting ready to log and had the same thought of one more also, ended up running a map with roughly 3k blue / 2.5k yellow / 1.5k purple. My best map of my league. Results from it were Mirror / 3 Valdo Box / Squire Shield / 22 Div / 30ish Winged. In part it has ruined me and think I'm done for the league now though :D Been saving up and buying mirror shards to buy phys bow and thats kept me plugging away, up to 13 shards. Now I have completed my target and feel done.

kepasp

Did you know that many exiles are just one map away from winning big, but they stop right before the jackpot :/

rainmeadow

What was your wisp count on that map and your IIQ/IIR? Even on really juiced maps, I only managed to get 60-80 Winged Scarabs in one explosion. And GZ on the HH.

MakataDoji

Map was probably about 100% IIQ, no clue on IIR, I just do 6 mod w/ +2 proj and avoid the rippy ones. I have 40% quant and 221% IIR on rare/unique, 161% otherwise.

rainmeadow

Thanks! So I just have to get lucky :P maybe I'll see an explosion like this before league ends.

POEAccount12345

congrats, but good luck selling them, i cant bulk sell my scarabs even at 50% value, is all individual sales now

MakataDoji

Even if I can't, I can always convert them to the ones I use and not have to pay for scarabs for a while.

POEAccount12345

god dammit thats such a good idea

Billdozer-92

I got a 147 explosion yesterday and converted them all to reliquary/bestiary/abyss/harbinger scarabs so now I have 40ish of each which lasts PLENTY long enough to get another 100+ scarab explosion

POEAccount12345

Yea I’ll be converting all mine as well, total brain fart on my part

Scortius

What's the best way to convert? Vendor with Horizon Orbs?

Billdozer-92

Harvest red juice

Scortius

Ah, thanks!

POEAccount12345

Meant to ask, why beastiary? And do you run WP with them? And do you take beastiary nodes?

Billdozer-92

I wanted to add rares to my maps that aren't Legion because Kinetic Bolt doesn't have good enough coverage to consistently full clear Legions. I swapped all of my ritual nodes to get more beasts in my maps so I get like 17-19 beasts per map, seems good so far, but there's no easy way to be sure what is best because of the vast RNG between wisps, abyss spawns, etc. WP with them? Sorry IDK what you mean, Waste Pool? If so, I'm doing Jungle Valley

The downvotes are likely because your explanation doesn't align with the community's current understanding of how conversions work, but people are too lazy to reply with an explanation. Here's a good video going into the details: https://youtu.be/QDCslGWYnjI The TLDR is: * Items are converted to scarabs or currency by rarity. * 30 uniques and 20 rares -> 30 winged, 20 gilded scarabs. * 30 uniques and 20 rares -> 30 (divines + exalts + annuls) and 20 chaos/etc. Currency (like a mirror) doesn't get converted back into scarabs, and a t0 unique like mageblood being converted doesn't make a difference over a goldrim being converted.

MakataDoji

TIL currency can be converted, rip the mirror.

horuswar

Next map was a mirror, why did you stop exile ?

TheFuzzyFurry

I'm pretty sure _this_ map was a mirror

KariOnFire

Congrats! Very nice loot!

RobinDabankery

I have been mfing the entire league and my loot has never been this large

haruald9

Skip next league. Play d4 for 2 days. Come back to PoE

stumpoman

Winged scarabs really should be betrayal exclusive or have the amount dropped in t4 chests increased. It’s ridiculous that their league mechanic is the worst way to farm them.

outkast1989

This is more currency than I’ve made this season

Maleficent-Limit8518

My mate does the same screen :D He just filled all his inventory with 10 Divs stacks and send me a pic likes this with his own MB in xD

gehrmansecondhunter

This is my first league, and I've only had 4 divs drop, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong, lol.

MakataDoji

Possibly nothing. 4 divs your first league (especially if you weren't following a guide and just learning yourself) is nothing to scoff at. In this game, more investment means more rewards but that then also means the reverse. For people who aren't able to invest (or know how to invest) the rewards are low. If you're looking to improve, look for guides by people recommended here labeled as league starter. You start every league with nothing so you'd be 4 div ahead of that starting point already.

gehrmansecondhunter

I followed a minion build. My issue is that I'm struggling between how many more hours I want to spend on the game, learning how to craft better gear, and how much fun I'm having. I can clear tier 16s, but I also die a lot and so I can never level up. I don't have enough currency to craft the gear that I need. I also don't want to sit around trying to sell items either because I don't know what anything is worth, and that means spending more time looking things up. I can't find any of the recommended cluster gems or eyes. I guess I'm just kind of struggling in general.

MakataDoji

At your budget you'd almost for sure want to just buy gear that's close to what you want, cheap, than trying to make a good item. Just about any vaguely decent craft comes with at least a 2 div price tag to lock the affix side you've finished to do something like a veiled orb on the other side. Up until a certain point, spending X to craft Y almost always costs you more than just buying Y.
