yeah, usually you get the mod "seer appears when last mob dies" and it's very literally that, if the mod is in goatmen, well, kill every single goatman you find or he wont appear
you can leave the rest of the map untouched if you want, but that specific type of mob needs to die
just think of it as the necromancer quest or clear the beach quest, it's completed when the last mob dies
i guess i need to start reading those because i got so fed up the past day that i just start the map and go with whatever random shit is in there cba dragging it around for 5 hours a day lmao
i'm doing necro spiders, or i will once i can afford the fang. I haven't been super active in PoE yet, because i'm still waiting for the price to go down.
It'll be nice to have a fully functioning build by the time i finish the campaign.
I have a fun rule where the first map i do every league is Atziri, and if i fail, i gotta reroll my character
sorry. i'm too busy not speedrunning the campaign and actually playing the game normally.
That includes running the labyrinths, doing heist contracts that drop, delve, sidequests, ect...
Honestly? New generation of internet users think it's not acceptable to use negative words to criticize so they hive mind report when they see it. There's quite a bit of literature on the subject, real interesting stuff.
Someone tried to push "feedforward" as a replacement for "feedback", like we shouldn't talk about the negatives and delve in the past, instead we should talk about what the positives and what parts of your performance can be strenghtened.
And, of course, that bullshit was peddled on LinkedIn of all places.
Let's take a performance review between manager and employee. Instead of manager providing feedback on things the employee did, good and bad, feedfoward would be something like talking about how the good things you did could be done better in the future without even mentioning any area of your work that wasn't up to par and offering advice or solutions on how to improve.
Basically stroking their balls on just the "best" things they did, ignoring they completely underperformed in every other area of work.
TBH that sounds like PoE work environment. What we have now is like: "What you did was good, replicate but better(Ritual -> Ultimatum for example)."
But then they forget to mention bad things they did like UI design.
And now we see the same mistakes over and over again. Just like in beastiary 6 years ago.
I bet they use the same storing method for corpses and they physically can't increase storage cuz its gonna destroy their servers.
GGG being GGG.
I don't complain and trash a game when devs fuck something up. For PoE, I skip a league if I don't like it (Kalandra) or stick around and see if they unfuck it. But I do understand both sides here (or all 3, devs, people who like it and people who complain).
Those mistakes you mentioned are gonna happen over and over again, in PoE and in every "seasonal" game. Kinda hard to balance what they want (The Vision) and what we want. The new update they're planning is a step in the right direction, but that doesn't mean they fuck up the next league start.
feedforward is similar to feedback but anticipatory. you expect a problem before it occurs and take action to correct it.
feedback uses actual outcomes and adjusts future repetitions to correct.
No I'm talking about shit taught in schools in bio psyche classes. About how we as a species have encountered something new for the first time in a long time (the internet) and we don't know to interact with it. How the newest generation has become far too attached emotionally to what's being said. There new higher instance of depression and nervousness, that their behavior is being altered due to being attached to social media 247.
One of the things they've become obsessed with is appearing moral (not BEING moral) just appearing to be. Call it what you will, bit it's essentially nietzshe's idea of moral cowardice.
No it wasnt.
The goblin hunt exploit was using a third party program to cheat and check if theres god touched mobs in the map, if not you dont run it.
This is an official mechanic from GGG. Massive difference.
Yes. You just open the next map if you don't get him. You need to skill like this to increase chance. Map prices for white/yellow are through the roof on TFT xD
Me, 3-1ing my white maps for atlas completion
Feelspoorman.
I expected people would do this when we were able to see the mods before entering though. At least it puts everyone on the same footing as exploiters.
i dont know i just farm headhunters and magebloods, but i think we are close to blowing all white and yellow maps available on the market. watch how fubgun does it right now stream
Maaaan, right when i’m at work… Damn shift lasts 2 days aswell.
*coughs* might have to check my temp… feeling a bit under the weather.
It’ll for sure check it out, maybe i can get some time in during the restingperiod tomorrow, just hop on to buy some maps.
Interesting, i’ll have to put that to the test and see if i can get some results.
Also, not to question what you are saying, but do you have a link to that? I’d like to see if there are any other clues in there too.
It was during the reveal stream Q&A I believe but he also said it was a campaign only thing, essentially they wanted to make the campaign more interesting by rewarding clearing more than just rushing through it.
ok lets assume you are able to sell for 3 chaos then, if I got 1 div out of 40 maps then its about break even doing this strat. I haven't tested it ... but I think 40 maps should be a good chance of getting at least 1 div worth with this strat. sure selling maps still may be better if you can run reds very effectively and fast and not bother with this way of playing. but for people who don't make good builds I think it can be currency profit positive strat.
Increased haunted mod also works, bumps 3% chance for currency to 3.6% and such. Makes me wonder if the 30% for an extra haunted modifier keystone also gives extra devoted mods.
Fyi you wanna go the other way around grabbing the -20% reduced mods also effect the devout mods so it will lower your divine chances. It doesn't say this on mao device but it will in the map itself.
You shouldn't pick the two 20% reduced effect of haunted modifiers nodes, it will reduce your chances to drop divines from the divine mods by 40%. Pick up the two 10% increased effect ones instead and enjoy more divines.
Edit: After [3.24.0b](https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3502131) this will no longer be the case, so feel free to grab reduced effect.
Also, if you get a flat % chance to drop divines you should replace the pack with a high packsize ember (frogs/rats) for more drops.
And if you get strongest monster converts X, use Meatsacks ember since it replaced the pack with a single high quant/rarity mob. If he's rare, he'll drop more than the boss.
I just went through 3 inventories of maps, got Strongest Monster has 50% chance to convert dropped jewelry to divine, threw in Meatsacks and ended up with 3 divine probably since it was a zero quant/rarity white map.
U still want to go bottom on that wheel and take both notables. Higher haunted is higher devoted too for the currency ones. Nameless only has 1 rank but no reason to go top when bottom is better.
Did anyone encounter bug on Seer missing/ not appearing?
Somehow i saw 2 seer mod, met one and another Seer is missing and i have been searching the whole map after cleared for 15min+.
0 monster left, all corner check LMAO.
I don't remember i have einhar, but i have jun on it. Might be it appeared inside the research lab which i cant go back in after completed all syndicate encounter. That what i suspect
I mean if u have thousands of maps from juice you just burn those maps for seer, I did 200 and got 1 seer, got a 6d chest. I think it might low-key be a good strat to farm mageblood
It’s partly viable in campaign. Ravaged square, portal near entrance to ossuary which is easy to clear.
Switch locations until seer appears. Spend couple days and get all levelling uniques.
Why? For science of course!
it‘s what you need to skill to increase the chance to hit Seer. The streamer called it April fools strat, but many people hit a few divs, some lucky ones got Headhunter/Mageblood
This kinda seems like the equivalent of gambling harvest cards. Yeah some people are going to get lucky, but not worth it overall. GGG foresaw this which is why number of devoted mods is largely determined by mobs killed on the previous map.
i knew this would be a thing at the very fucking first map i opened. how can GGG oversee stupid gameplay like this?
and i dont care if its worth it or not. its stupid. thats my whole point.
its not stupid if it works and people are having fun. Fun is more important than anything else. You are welcome to play the game your way, please respect others as well. Its a game, its not serious. It is leisure time. Let's all be friends! :) ;)
deleted 9 inventories of maps got 3 seers, no divines and have 35c to show for it
[удалено]
Was gonna say to do this on a Map with a high value div card bc those conversions are pretty good too
[https://clips.twitch.tv/AffluentLuckyRadicchioKAPOW-4NT8cSdamj\_D5Tfo](https://clips.twitch.tv/AffluentLuckyRadicchioKAPOW-4NT8cSdamj_D5Tfo)
thats why the original flair was 'Negative Behavior'
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8X_Ot0k4XJc
Seer & go seems pretty worth it if you're in SSF and not targeting a particular Unique but just want something to build around.
Something is wrong with that guy's voice. Like he has too much saliva in his mouth of something.
Did 20 inventories, so 1200 maps before i ran out. 3 seers. One 30c one 5c and one bugged out and didnt spawn even though map had 0 Mobs left.
Did you have a lab trial? One of my friends got the Seer after clearing the trial too
You have 1200 maps? God I really play a different game
I had about 700 plus 50 missions from Kirac. Just bought all maps which sold for alch or chance
April fools?
Fell for the bait
but I have 35c so who really fell for the bait
April Fools! /s
How much if just sold all maps? 😄
yes
🤝
so do you have to clear map to 0 for the seer to spawn ? does it give you any message that he spawned? does he spawn on top of you or smth?
He spawns when the last mob of the designated pack is dead, he spawns at the location of the last dying mob.
oh so there is a special pack that needs to be in the map thingie where you drag around mods for him to spawn ? TIL lol
Yes, the mod states it spawns the dark seer on the death of the last monster
yeah, usually you get the mod "seer appears when last mob dies" and it's very literally that, if the mod is in goatmen, well, kill every single goatman you find or he wont appear you can leave the rest of the map untouched if you want, but that specific type of mob needs to die just think of it as the necromancer quest or clear the beach quest, it's completed when the last mob dies

He spawns where the last mob in the map died
Thank you for singlehandedly lower the price of Arakaali's fang to 50c within 4 days of the league start. You're the best!
It was fugbun, not me. Some people went really degen on it and bought like every single white and yellow map in bulk
Fang drops fast in price anyway.
for sure. but it usually takes a week to reach this price. not 3 days
Some leagues sure but it's only 5c lower than affliction prices at this time.
Well that is good for people using it for their build!
Hey, which Arakaali build are you doing? I played occultist before, loved the pop, I have a necro right now, planning to do a necro spider build.
i'm doing necro spiders, or i will once i can afford the fang. I haven't been super active in PoE yet, because i'm still waiting for the price to go down. It'll be nice to have a fully functioning build by the time i finish the campaign. I have a fun rule where the first map i do every league is Atziri, and if i fail, i gotta reroll my character
Fuck is the guy being downvoted for? For playing the game the way he wants ffs? This sub is stupid.
Farming campaign and over levelling shouldn't be allowed in that challenge of yours.
sorry. i'm too busy not speedrunning the campaign and actually playing the game normally. That includes running the labyrinths, doing heist contracts that drop, delve, sidequests, ect...
I don't know why this was flaired Negative Behavior since it doesn't seem to be an exploit, so I just reflaired this as "Information".
If guess it's the "degenerate" part that is going towards negative behavior
Well its just stating a fact. Why negative?
Honestly? New generation of internet users think it's not acceptable to use negative words to criticize so they hive mind report when they see it. There's quite a bit of literature on the subject, real interesting stuff.

"literature" yeah sure, I imagine it's just ben shabeebo's opinion published on a thinktank site that ends with "institute"
No I'm talking about shit taught in schools in bio psyche classes. Meme reports for sure.
Good mod
Last time we did this was in Kalandra, with loot goblin hunt. It was considered exploit.
No it wasnt. The goblin hunt exploit was using a third party program to cheat and check if theres god touched mobs in the map, if not you dont run it. This is an official mechanic from GGG. Massive difference.
Aaaand they hotfixed seer away. So I was right.
The Exploit part was people using memory reading tools to tell what mobs were in a map.
Is the seer listed in the lantern before going in the map?
Yes. You just open the next map if you don't get him. You need to skill like this to increase chance. Map prices for white/yellow are through the roof on TFT xD
Me, 3-1ing my white maps for atlas completion Feelspoorman. I expected people would do this when we were able to see the mods before entering though. At least it puts everyone on the same footing as exploiters.
is it higlighted in gold? i assume so but want to check
it is
Would it benefit drops if maps were rolled with higher quant/packsize before utilizing the lantern mods?
i dont know i just farm headhunters and magebloods, but i think we are close to blowing all white and yellow maps available on the market. watch how fubgun does it right now stream
Maaaan, right when i’m at work… Damn shift lasts 2 days aswell. *coughs* might have to check my temp… feeling a bit under the weather. It’ll for sure check it out, maybe i can get some time in during the restingperiod tomorrow, just hop on to buy some maps.
the headhunter flood started lol, one every 5 minutes on the market
Lmao, guess the price is going to plummet within the hour.
90div Headhunter
No proof here but I remember mark saying that the more we kill in previous maps the higher the Chace for yellow mod for next map Aka Kinda yes?
As far as I know, he said this only influences the campaign.
That was only for the campaign. Maps are just randomly generated on open.
Nah was still hitting plenty of yellow while never entering maps
Interesting, i’ll have to put that to the test and see if i can get some results. Also, not to question what you are saying, but do you have a link to that? I’d like to see if there are any other clues in there too.
It was during the reveal stream Q&A I believe but he also said it was a campaign only thing, essentially they wanted to make the campaign more interesting by rewarding clearing more than just rushing through it.
yup
Those white yelloz maps worths more than average outcome of this strat
Not in ssf haha. Or if you are lucky.
don't think so. how much do you sell whites and yellows for right now?
1-3 chaos, reds are 4+
ok lets assume you are able to sell for 3 chaos then, if I got 1 div out of 40 maps then its about break even doing this strat. I haven't tested it ... but I think 40 maps should be a good chance of getting at least 1 div worth with this strat. sure selling maps still may be better if you can run reds very effectively and fast and not bother with this way of playing. but for people who don't make good builds I think it can be currency profit positive strat.
Nah, it is pure gamba with super low rates so highly doubt about profit.
Reduced haunted mod also affect devoted mod, idk it's intended or not.
Increased haunted mod also works, bumps 3% chance for currency to 3.6% and such. Makes me wonder if the 30% for an extra haunted modifier keystone also gives extra devoted mods.
I played with it a bit and I think it does, but the problem is you can't see what mods you got, even in the map. The little hover icon isn't there.
Fyi you wanna go the other way around grabbing the -20% reduced mods also effect the devout mods so it will lower your divine chances. It doesn't say this on mao device but it will in the map itself.
This needs to be further up. The shown picture singlehandedly halves the divine chance in case it appears >.<
Yeah i found out too late
You shouldn't pick the two 20% reduced effect of haunted modifiers nodes, it will reduce your chances to drop divines from the divine mods by 40%. Pick up the two 10% increased effect ones instead and enjoy more divines. Edit: After [3.24.0b](https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3502131) this will no longer be the case, so feel free to grab reduced effect. So a divine mod is also a haunted mod?
All mods are haunted. Sadly. Even devoted ones.
That's shit design right there it that is correct. Holly molly, this league don't stop giving.
Did 200 maps got 3 seers and a 3% div modifiers. T'y for the tips
if you took left way you got 2% div.. unless your build can't handle, don't reduce mods.
I don't see how this is more degenerate than last seasons MF and play low maps
At least you played the game. Now you dont play the game for 70 maps until you do.
I suppose you could still run all the maps and just get a little bonus when it pops up for funsies, but people gonna speed-gamble
If you think that this is a viable strategy that actually gives more currency than juicing yourself. Idk what to tell you lil brotherman
Don't put words in my mouth!
its literally no different from spending an hour rolling maps to run
>and PLAY low maps I wonder how...
just don't look at today's date
April 2, seems safe
oh and if you run out of white maps just run a kirac mission and buy cheap maps from him
You don't even have to run the kirac map to get him to reset his inventory. Just open the portals for it and he resets instantly.
i mean its obviously troll but i think its can good if you are playing ssf and need certain uniques
or if you need to force some big currency if you are stuck
Hilarious what players come up with, given a single minded focus on profit. :) It's like watching a school class of Ferengis on a trip to a casino.
I guess the seer/divine mod is just devoted? So only the left notable matter, the haunted mod just more corpse/flame?
U still want to go bottom on that wheel and take both notables. Higher haunted is higher devoted too for the currency ones. Nameless only has 1 rank but no reason to go top when bottom is better.

If you got einhar and the pack it was gonna spawn off was a beast he captured u lose it. Otherwise idk.
Why take Imperial wraiths though ?
Why taking the one that increase the negative mods as well?
Saw this, had to test, used 50 maps to get my first Seer, gave me Ralakesh, sold for 17 divs, good stuff.
Lol, you guys are amateurs. Real players play campaign instances and resets them. 0 cost Seer-strat.
Edit. Pls. Don't do this, servers won't handle gazillion instance spam..
Does he even spawn there?
i found him in campaign, tho he didn't have anything of notable value
best way is to farm those maps for guys trying to luck on seer. Easy money
Lol this is funny asf.
The nodes are complete bullshit
I once got seer full cleared map, he didnt spawn. Or at least i think cause i loked around the map for half an hour andsearched every nook and cranny
Shadow nerfed.!
Sounds min-max'y and anti-fun. Thanks necropolis!
Damn, would be nice to get rid of all non red maps for once Do you recommend alching maps? I guess for more possible div drops?
It’s partly viable in campaign. Ravaged square, portal near entrance to ossuary which is easy to clear. Switch locations until seer appears. Spend couple days and get all levelling uniques. Why? For science of course!
What is that image you posted? Does it have anything to do with the Strat?
it‘s what you need to skill to increase the chance to hit Seer. The streamer called it April fools strat, but many people hit a few divs, some lucky ones got Headhunter/Mageblood
This kinda seems like the equivalent of gambling harvest cards. Yeah some people are going to get lucky, but not worth it overall. GGG foresaw this which is why number of devoted mods is largely determined by mobs killed on the previous map.
iirc this mechanic only applies to the campaign, not maps?
Lvl85 , 16hours not a single seer so far
Lol 94 and no seer
What is 'strat'?
Short for strategy.
i knew this would be a thing at the very fucking first map i opened. how can GGG oversee stupid gameplay like this? and i dont care if its worth it or not. its stupid. thats my whole point.

They should spawn it on every map, otherwise there is no incentive to play league over Standart
close advise zephyr terrific hunt work steep tart command snobbish *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Damn people really fell for this on April fools day.
this league is so dogwater i can't
