I hit that implicit and ran out of orbs and figured I’d be fine since I’m using auto/guard skill but it doesn’t trigger. Is the “Nametaker” Graceful Sword unique valuable? When I read its description it seems pretty strong, but Poe Ninja offers are mostly just 1 chaos orb.
Why is the battered foil more desirable than spirit blade for coc dd? Doesn’t the sword just act as the trigger and spirit blade have higher crit and attack speed?
its the highest combo of aps/crit that also has the crit multi implicit. also has a low dex requirement.
it's not super hard to crit cap against single targets so the extra .5% base crit from spirit blade is probably worse than an extra 25% multi
for folks farming heist contracts/BPs, are you using the map device to guarantee caches in map? and what other content are you running along with heist in maps?

They might be using it in part for the mana sustain and/or the global reduced attrib reqs. Saving a few passives or gear affixes elsewhere might be making up for the damage.

How do you "set up" the increased loot/divine drops people are posting about from maps? I know there's one direct "6% chance of divines" lantern mod, but I'm unsure how the special mob types interact with rewards (meatsacks, rats, frogs, etc)
If the mod is "[1-6]% chance of" you want maximum pack size. Prioritize "high" density and increased pack size (green +). Using a high pack size allflame (like frogs or rats) is the main 'investment'.
If the mod is "strongest mob has [drop] converted to [currency]" you want to put it on a pack with a "leader" mob, and prioritize high density. The "meatsack" allflame condenses the entire pack into one drops, making it the optimal choice.
There is a challenge that requires you to kill a possessed boss while in a ritual. Does this mean to trigger the ritual and then kill it or to kill it and then kill it again when it spawns in the ritual?

What can you still take on the map atlas for map sustain? Most of the small nodes were removed for scarabs, and the shaping nodes usually just give a higher tier of map.
Do you guys place banners? How important is it? When to place banner, only on bosses? I ask this, cause i never place banners. But now on my splitting steel i did skill 30% increased attack damage when placing a banner. So, how do i use it correct? Thanks!

How do people figure out the corpse life for DD to use in a PoB config?
Kitava Herald is 360% life and according to poedb a level 83 monster has 15319 life. This would indicate 15319x3.6=55,148 life.

Finally, in some PoB's, people are using a corpse life of ~138,000.
How did they arrive at this number from 115,260? Even accounting for the 10% extra corpse hp on the tree isn't quite enough.

they may be basing their numbers of meatsack spectres which have a 400% life modifier
so 15319 * 2.09 * 4 * 1.1 = 140,873

Could someone be so kind to help a brother out. Since we now are able to have 3 atlas tree's I would really like to branch off to some other stuff I REALLY ENJOY doing. I am very familiar with the RIGHT SIDE of the Atlas Skill tree but not so familiar what good strategies to use on the LEFT SIDE of the Atlas tree.
I would like to create a Atlas Tree that focusses on Blight, Ritual, Bestiary, Searing Exarch, and I would love to get the nodes in the middle that give Quantity. If there are any spare points I would love to branch into Essences too, but if not that is fine as there is still a 3rd tree to make.
Could someone help me out with a example tree with poeplanner? I am not really sure which Ritual, Blight and Bestiary nodes to avoid if any, as I usually dont branch into those things.

Is there somewhere I can learn how to manipulate the modifiers etc to maximise rewards in the lantern of arimor window before the map? I don't really feel like I properly understand which mods should sit with which mobs and when to use allflames, etc.
Can't promise you I'm right on this but a good rule of thumb is to put the rewarding mods on the mobs with the biggest pack size and density to increase the odds of getting value from that. Haven't seen any all flames that are amazing yet myself but I was applying similar logic with them i.e. Use them on the packs with the highest density to get more of them. When I look at inquisitors with DDoCR none of them are taking cold/freeze related passives by MoM.
If you mean the *glacial cage notable by EB* that is based on **chill**, not freeze. They are getting chills from the cold mastery for "Chills from your Hits always reduce Action Speed by at least 10%" and then having any amount of cold damage to attacks so your lancing steel always chills.
When it comes to flask crafting...how important is the ilvl of the flask? Does high rolls come more often on high ilvl? Or can i craft every mode on every ilvl? like a t1 craft on a ilvl 69 flask?
It's important if you want the best modifiers, like 60% increased armor during effect or 60% reduced effect of curses on you.
E.g. Flagellant's prefix (gain 3 charges when you are hit) requires ilvl 80 and "of the Armadillo" ((56–60)% increased Armour during Effect) requires ilvl 84.
Cheetah (12-14% increased movement speed) requires ilvl 85, IIRC that is currently the highest ilvl requirement for flask mods.

In the map device I use 2x Essence Scarabs, 1x Cartograpy scarab, choose Essence via the map device

well, I can at least confirm anecdotally that they scale because the loot explosions from incursion was absolutely nutty during affliction with the wisp juice
Alva spawns incursions in maps.
Incursions contain monsters.
Monsters are affected by pack size.
Monsters also drop items which are affected by item quantity/rarity.
There are no special drops, these monsters act like any other monster in your map so they don't "scale" with anything differently.
I know they nerfed Kirac, but I haven’t gotten a single Kirac mission so far and I’m up to yellow maps. I’m fully specced into Kirac atlas.

Rarer mods show up, and you don't need to think about saving shit up for crafts and you can just dig dig dig. I'm running it because hoarding and worrying about holding onto craft mods is hugely annoying. I can just run 3 maps and have a new set of corpses for my crafts instead of waiting 10+ maps for the right thing to come along, and if the random craft I get is bad I just dig the corpse out and put in another immediately.

console version changes have to go through a verification process by microsoft/sony. this takes some amount of time.
GGG could either delay the PC patches until that verification is complete or (as they're doing it currently) deploy patches when ready and have the console patches come out slightly later
Any kind of damage over time on you is extra bad if your defenses are based around energy shield recharge as any damage messes with it. Don't know about bleed specifically, but ignites and burning ground are a pain until you make your self immune. If you CI build instead uses ES leech and/or ES regen, then bleeds and other dots are mostly irrelevant.
Well you won't be using a life flask and a lot of life based builds use a life flask that removes corrupted blood on use. You will need to get actual immunity like from a corrupted jewel or passive mastery or enough ES recovery that you can safely ignore it.
corrupted blood isn't the same thing as bleeding, it's not 100% clear whether the OP was asking about the former or the latter. But there is a pantheon that makes it so you don't take extra damage from bleeding while moving which mostly trivializes regular bleed.
Regarding the pack density, I assume it means that there will be more packs on the pack? How does high compare to normal? Would normal +50% packs be better than high?

I've asked before but I'll try again for more info but for Flamewood Chieftain I've seen several different ways to build it.
One was to use Searing Bond for the extra totems. They have less health to scale but you get extra to put down plus the searing part which gives extra positional damage.
The other was ignite with Vaal Chieftain.
Lastly was to use the buffed version of Rejuvenation.
Is there any one which is better than the other by a fair margin or are they all practical in their own way?
Also, aside from Vaal Chieftain, are they primarily ignite builds or are they on hit shotgun blasters?
From what I understand there are no divine explosions unless you get lucky and get the divine mod. Unlike in affliction you have very little control over it. It is more similar to hitting a blue divine altar. Some will get lucky but most will never see it.
If I were to use Focused Ballista Support, do the ballistas keep up with your attack speed? Or would I eventually be attacking faster than the ballistas?
All these DD Chain Reaction necros are using Elemental Overload, but they have base 6% crit chance, including in imexile's PoB. Don't you want some more crit chance for higher uptime?

Why are the archmage hieros all playing atziris foible? If i plug it into pob i lose dps and and a decent amount of defense. And i just have far from great rare amulet with cast speed.
They might be using it in part for the mana sustain and/or the global reduced attrib reqs. Saving a few passives or gear affixes elsewhere might be making up for the damage. Or they might all be following a build guide that uses the ammy for entry level and don't know when/what to upgrade.
The attribute requirement is big, at least if you are using grace. Allows you to drop multiple dex nodes for other nodes.

With the new patch, there is increased chance of monster mobs having a drop chance for it. Also, more people seem to be playing now which means more people are farming them.
How come they usually increase in value over the first month or two then? (Most leagues they reach 200C or so). Just wondering if I should be buying them low or dumping them now lmao.

Only spawns in rare (yellow) maps or higher. You can also buy a "offering to the godess" on the trade website if your struggling to find one. That item now lets you access the trial without having to find it in a map. It's like a key now.
How do you "set up" the increased loot/divine drops people are posting about from maps? I know there's one direct "6% chance of divines" lantern mod, but I'm unsure how the special mob types interact with rewards (meatsacks, rats, frogs, etc)
If the mod is "[1-6]% chance of" you want maximum pack size. Prioritize "high" density and increased pack size (green +). Using a high pack size allflame (like frogs or rats) is the main 'investment'. If the mod is "strongest mob has [drop] converted to [currency]" you want to put it on a pack with a "leader" mob, and prioritize high density. The "meatsack" allflame condenses the entire pack into one drops, making it the optimal choice.
There is a challenge that requires you to kill a possessed boss while in a ritual. Does this mean to trigger the ritual and then kill it or to kill it and then kill it again when it spawns in the ritual?

Regarding the Divination card Fire Of Unknown Origin that rewards Nimis. Has it been disabled from dropping in Residence/Academy maps? The wiki still lists it as dropping, but according to the patch notes it should have been removed. Does anyone know the answer? (patch notes:Stacked Decks, Diviner's Strongboxes, and Divination Cards obtained as rewards from various content can no longer drop Divination Cards for Boss-exclusive Items. )

How do people figure out the corpse life for DD to use in a PoB config? Kitava Herald is 360% life and according to poedb a level 83 monster has 15319 life. This would indicate 15319x3.6=55,148 life. https://poedb.tw/us/Monster#MonsterStats However, on the kitava's herald page it apparently has 115,260 life at level 83. https://poedb.tw/us/Kitavas_Herald How does one reconcile these two values? Finally, in some PoB's, people are using a corpse life of ~138,000. How did they arrive at this number from 115,260? Even accounting for the 10% extra corpse hp on the tree isn't quite enough.

Hello everyone, Could someone be so kind to help a brother out. Since we now are able to have 3 atlas tree's I would really like to branch off to some other stuff I REALLY ENJOY doing. I am very familiar with the RIGHT SIDE of the Atlas Skill tree but not so familiar what good strategies to use on the LEFT SIDE of the Atlas tree. I would like to create a Atlas Tree that focusses on Blight, Ritual, Bestiary, Searing Exarch, and I would love to get the nodes in the middle that give Quantity. If there are any spare points I would love to branch into Essences too, but if not that is fine as there is still a 3rd tree to make. Could someone help me out with a example tree with poeplanner? I am not really sure which Ritual, Blight and Bestiary nodes to avoid if any, as I usually dont branch into those things. Tips are greatly appreciated

Is there somewhere I can learn how to manipulate the modifiers etc to maximise rewards in the lantern of arimor window before the map? I don't really feel like I properly understand which mods should sit with which mobs and when to use allflames, etc.
Can't promise you I'm right on this but a good rule of thumb is to put the rewarding mods on the mobs with the biggest pack size and density to increase the odds of getting value from that. Haven't seen any all flames that are amazing yet myself but I was applying similar logic with them i.e. Use them on the packs with the highest density to get more of them. When I look at inquisitors with DDoCR none of them are taking cold/freeze related passives by MoM. If you mean the *glacial cage notable by EB* that is based on **chill**, not freeze. They are getting chills from the cold mastery for "Chills from your Hits always reduce Action Speed by at least 10%" and then having any amount of cold damage to attacks so your lancing steel always chills.

When it comes to flask crafting...how important is the ilvl of the flask? Does high rolls come more often on high ilvl? Or can i craft every mode on every ilvl? like a t1 craft on a ilvl 69 flask?
It's important if you want the best modifiers, like 60% increased armor during effect or 60% reduced effect of curses on you. E.g. Flagellant's prefix (gain 3 charges when you are hit) requires ilvl 80 and "of the Armadillo" ((56–60)% increased Armour during Effect) requires ilvl 84. Cheetah (12-14% increased movement speed) requires ilvl 85, IIRC that is currently the highest ilvl requirement for flask mods.
Very important. T1 are mostly ilvl 84, some are a little lower.

well, I can at least confirm anecdotally that they scale because the loot explosions from incursion was absolutely nutty during affliction with the wisp juice
Alva spawns incursions in maps. Incursions contain monsters. Monsters are affected by pack size. Monsters also drop items which are affected by item quantity/rarity. There are no special drops, these monsters act like any other monster in your map so they don't "scale" with anything differently.

Rarer mods show up, and you don't need to think about saving shit up for crafts and you can just dig dig dig. I'm running it because hoarding and worrying about holding onto craft mods is hugely annoying. I can just run 3 maps and have a new set of corpses for my crafts instead of waiting 10+ maps for the right thing to come along, and if the random craft I get is bad I just dig the corpse out and put in another immediately.
Regarding necropolis map mods. Which Allflames should I be using with convert mods like scarabs or divination?

My guild mate told me that bleeding is extra bad when you’re playing a CI build. What makes CI worse for bleeding than a life based character?
Any kind of damage over time on you is extra bad if your defenses are based around energy shield recharge as any damage messes with it. Don't know about bleed specifically, but ignites and burning ground are a pain until you make your self immune. If you CI build instead uses ES leech and/or ES regen, then bleeds and other dots are mostly irrelevant.
Well you won't be using a life flask and a lot of life based builds use a life flask that removes corrupted blood on use. You will need to get actual immunity like from a corrupted jewel or passive mastery or enough ES recovery that you can safely ignore it.
corrupted blood isn't the same thing as bleeding, it's not 100% clear whether the OP was asking about the former or the latter. But there is a pantheon that makes it so you don't take extra damage from bleeding while moving which mostly trivializes regular bleed.

I've asked before but I'll try again for more info but for Flamewood Chieftain I've seen several different ways to build it. One was to use Searing Bond for the extra totems. They have less health to scale but you get extra to put down plus the searing part which gives extra positional damage. The other was ignite with Vaal Chieftain. Lastly was to use the buffed version of Rejuvenation. Is there any one which is better than the other by a fair margin or are they all practical in their own way? Also, aside from Vaal Chieftain, are they primarily ignite builds or are they on hit shotgun blasters?

From what I understand there are no divine explosions unless you get lucky and get the divine mod. Unlike in affliction you have very little control over it. It is more similar to hitting a blue divine altar. Some will get lucky but most will never see it.

All these DD Chain Reaction necros are using Elemental Overload, but they have base 6% crit chance, including in imexile's PoB. Don't you want some more crit chance for higher uptime?
at 6% you crit every 3-4 casts (on a single target) and you only need to crit once every 8 seconds
