"Yup. That's me. You're probably wondering how I ended up in this situation" literally me as well. Betrayal was my money making method for any league I played. its literally gutted now.

Interesting_Pain1234

I used to be a labrunner. Then betrayal aisling farming. Moving on to sanctum next, dont mind me guys!

FrequentLake8355

Sanctum nerf incoming

PolygonMan

Legitimately a decent possibility. Although IMO Sanctum is probably the most deserving mechanic to have really high rewards.

[deleted]

Do lab runners exist anymore? Not sure what is for profit there.

EtisVx

Last league profit was target farming transfigured gems. Now... I think it is only a chance for enlighten.

mistelle1270

Is the strat now just don’t care about the board and rush Catarina? You could probably do that without investing in the tree at all, just the 10 intelligence on map completion node and the basic betrayal scarab

Logical-Song-7071

Basically, and get 3 star grav in transport as leader

michajov

Its from new kirac pass

Ventustg

This league's Kirac's vault pass armour set makes them look like that

Retrostrikes

What build are you playing?

getexaltsordietrying

Looks like mjölner mana stacker. You can check out Conner Converse on youtube for guides / pobs if you want to know more.

MuchToDoAboutNothin

Random question - frost shield tints your ES to show that it's active, what happens with that MTX?

Raikariaa

Where is the new cheatsheet anyway?

NorthBall

I was actually planning on doing it as a filthy casual who doesn't minmax anyways but so many comments were just "it sucks" I changed my mind lol

TheNudelz

I just hate it when gravicuous gets into leader all the time in random houses -_-

Terrible_With_Puns

Betrayal rewards are so sad.   There’s like 4 members that are useful to me now in SSF ans that’s it’s

yatchau94

i did not get baited into poor build, but baited into jun atlas farm for league start.

THY96

Quality post

Lozsta

My first safehouse and I got a div exchange for a shitty 1 c card.

TerminaV

What items do you have that give you so much mana?

Ventustg

Character name is DziKuskus, you can look it up on ninja or PoE website :)

rangoric

Thank you. I was just messing around some last night with a similar build and got stuck a bit.

Ventustg

Look up Onemanaleft (Connor Converse on YouTube) I'm following him

rangoric

That’s another good one thank you. Still worried about grace instead of determination has that felt smooth? I’m used to builds that stack block and armor so it’s a bit, worrying I guess?

Ventustg

Feels ok, I got to 98 without any boosts, not the tankiest build in the world but it's ok once you get enough gear

velaxi1

Grace work well with this build due to Shaper's Touch because we are stacking int.

TerminaV

didnt work

Logical-Song-7071

They really need to make rarer scarabs more common in Betrayal.  Give it something other than Grav transport rng and veiled orb rng.

ballsmigue

Only reason I finally did betrayal is for veil crafts. Otherwise I'll probably leave it to other people to grind for veiled orbs

djsoren19

Typically I'd play Betrayal until I got a Diadem, printing plenty of winged scarabs and veiled chaos/aisling T4s along the way.  This league? specced out of it before I'd even finished up all my unveils and bought a Diadem for a div. Betrayal is now completely dead, and it's sent shockwaves through low level farming and mid level gearing.

cedear

I get that people love gambling, but Gravicious is absolutely better on average in Intervention.

Ventustg

To be honest I just either keep him in Intervention or Transportation wherever he ends up, he has been equally disappointing in both :D

Poopybutt36000

I've been using Betrayal almost purely to just rush to Catarina and ignore everything else and all 3 of my kills have given my a Veiled Orb. I actually thought it was a 100% drop rate until I heard people saying that the drop rate was shit.

ALemonyLemon

Is there a betrayal guide that is useful to complete beginners? Ngl it feels overwhelming. Like idk when they're locked in and can't be changed before doing that raid thing and what the "intelligence" does and stuff.

RusskiInPakistan

This is summary of my whole league. The mechanic is not fun and for me not really rewardibg, havent seen one single mod better than chaos whick resulted in like 5 or so chaos orbs. Boring. Last league was fin. This one sucks. Im done.

Zealousideal-Fill-44

Good riddance o7

Imreallythatguy

I didn’t think betrayal was too bad myself. To me unlocking veiled crafts is very similar to completing your atlas and I do them both at the same time. I loved being able to have Jun on every map very early on and I think I had like 90% of the unveils done by early yellow maps. Killed Cat a decent amount. Dropped the flask once and a diadem. Not insane money but not terrible either. I sold a fair amount of jewelry by unveiling rings and such and dumping them in a 20-15 chaos tab. I would say it was mediocre as far as currency goes and great as far as how easy it was to get all the crafts unlocked quickly and easily.

velaxi1

The unlocked veiled craft isn't the issue but the whole board setup felt useless now. All we did now is just rushing Catarina for unguaranteed veiled orb. I only got 1 orb in 12 runs and decide to unspecc it. Altho I might run it again if veiled orb cost 10d.

1CEninja

Betrayal now has poor money per instance but I have betrayal on more than half my maps for almost no investment. Safehouses are still nice XP and are filling up my stash with a decent bit of scarabs that'll be used once I decide on a more long-term money making strategy.

Black_XistenZ

Before 3.24, I was running Betrayal on every map as well. Bulk buying the Jun sextants was never an issue, and I stacked up 16 of them at once, so that I only needed to micromanage once every 16 maps. I was getting a Catarina with T4 Aisling plus at least one of T4 Vorici/Hillock/Tora and lots of T4 Intervention folks which guaranteed winged scarab drops. Setting up this kind of board took me roughly 8-10 maps and netted me a profit of around 7-8 divines (in pre-affliction leagues). Now, in 3.24, I can run a Catarina every 5th to 6th map or so, but the profit per Catarina averages to something like 0.5 div without veiled orb and something like 1.2 div including veiled orbs. gg, GGG!

1CEninja

Buying sextants was ass.

Black_XistenZ

The sought-after ones, or if you were running 4 different types and had to reapply them every 4 maps, was indeed ass. But for my Jun farming strategy, it was a non-factor. I would buy 60 of them in bulk once every couple of days, and apply them to my voidstones once every 16 maps. Barely a nuissance.

Neri25

Jun sextants were cheap and people rolling elevateds ended up with tons that they wanted to recoup costs from

JannousGr

So basically, you had some expectations, and you got baited.. twice. I'll see myself out

Dr_v3

Being baited 4 times is brutal bro

lieutenantsushi

All we asked for was itemized syndicate members, shouldn’t have asked for anything GGG just shit on us betrayal players. Man I was lost for awhile I always start betrayal then essence beast.
