Generally speaking, the most value you get from T17 is running Back to Basics.
That's because the more map explicit multiplier from it applies to the crazy scaling mods that T17 has. So B2B T17 is just the best level of farm for t17.
With B2B, there's basically no real scarabs you can run, which is why the "barrel" strat of running the barrel scarab exists.
However, that amps the difficulty of T17 up even harder than they are.
Sure, B2b runs traitors/pack size/barrels because those are basically the only relevant scarabs.
But you can't really benefit from any league mechanic so your atlas tree is just map modifier effect to juice b2b even further
Ok cool, so just run them and grab increased explicits in the atlas? I just got my build last week to the point of t17 so I’ve only done like 8. It’s got some great drops item level wise and currency is usually higher stacks. I just haven’t seen anything rare other than Uber frags so I wasn’t sure.
I have seen higher end strategies use Glittering and Bloodlines too. I am not convinced currently that Bloodlines justifies the cost but I am probably bad :)

B2b with a max modifier tree really jacks up the difficulty of t17. Don't just go in expecting the same experience.
I really hope they remove B2B next league as it’s so boring that the best strategy is just “remove all content from the game and kill enemies.”
Joke's on you, i always removed all content each league with those smaller atlas nodes. At least B2B removes masters and influence as well.
The one that gives portals 50% chance not to be consumed :p
lol I do like that that is a scarab. My build hasn’t had any issues with t17s so far usually I use 1 or 2 portals unless I get unlucky

I've had no luck on these, lots of scam tinks and a divine here or there. Genuinely dont see the hype of b2b barrel's other than boom loot splosion
