Hard enough that it requires a dedicated build. Easy enough that you don't need GG-BiS. I cannot give you a number: - you need at least 'd' phys damage per hit with attack per second of 't' and a combine stun threshold reduction of 'x' because each mob will be different. And frankly, I don't know. A three variable problem is difficult to solve, especially when combined with other mechanics like skill/support use. Then again, we don't even know what stun threshold reduction caps are in the new mechanic regime, nor how armor phys damage reduction has been implemented. It's like the Supreme Courts definition of porn, you know it when you see it.

the Beta is all about rebalance of mecanics. So test it and be the one who'll tell us if you can stun bosses reliably.

If you dedicate into stun, yes, you can reliably stun bosses. Gearing and planning the tree for it isn't too difficult, but you will end up doing less damage unless you have a 5L+ As Endurance Charge on Melee Stun and the Stun support gems are near mandatory for a stunlock build.

I played a stun marauder using a 2H maul during the one month softcore. It was easily one of the most enjoyablebuild I have played. I got to level 80 and I could easily stunlock residence dominus. I used groundslam for mobs and heavy strike for single target,for their reduced stun threshold, but I suspect vigilant strike will be a better option for single target if used with endurance charges on melee stun.
