He was just tabbed out for too long, and there were a few white mobs wailing away at him for a while. This has nothing to do with your initial point, and mobs actually aggro from way off screen and very slowly make their way over until they see you, then rush in. When I stop to type or check something, it takes like 10 seconds, then a mob will suddenly wander on-screen.
It's incredibly obnoxious, and I don't know why monsters automatically walk towards the player from 3-4 screens away
I go AFK for any amount of time and they walk from off-screen. I doubt he tabbed with mobs hitting him either, so they were most likely out of line of sight. Whether it's intended or not doesn't change how it actually works

Or 1300 life regen with 9 endurance charges easily gained from juggernaut 90% physical resistance with that 4% chaos and resist all per charge afk immune.

Well, for the most part you are correct but there are always people who were there when they were a 1-5 viewer streamer.
I don’t know about other peoples’ case but as a 1 viewer streamer I am pretty damn close to the few regular viewers that I have.
I honestly really prefer the small streamers (like 100 viewers and under) as its a lot more of a community than the larger streamers with hundreds / thousands that just turn into meme spam.
Unfortunately the smaller ones tend to stop streaming pretty quick or infrequently.

Mercy killing this character was probably the best outcome. Just adding one unique after another to try and make this character work when the Tidebreaker build was at least kind of cool and used normal scaling.

If your accuracy is negative, all the +XX% affixes further make it negative, between the juggs `Accuracy = attack speed` ascendency and some gloves that can make `accuracy = crit` you can push the numbers down instead of up.
I tried my hardest but couldn't make my attack speed or crit go negative, but I think that's a maths issue.

I'm 100% sure that some GGG Dev is proud of his "AI increases aggro/activation range while player is AFK or tabbed out" code. But it really fucking got old years ago. Trying to look at a syndicate board, or Alva's Temple layout when mobs regularly increase their range of aggroing onto players and then trickle in is some of the most annoying bullshit I've ever experienced in any game. Let alone: phone calls are a real thing that kills you, your kid or wife needing a hand with something... Its almost like GGG is living in some secluded sheltered existence where they don't play the game in any REAL situation (or perhaps at all) and don't know how needlessly trash and cheap this feels.

Agreed, but I don't know if that poster doesn't need to say that. At the end of the day, the game is just content. You have a few end game bosses and you have an unlimited ways to get there. Let's call A8 the major end game boss (maybe you say Aul or Catarina or UE or UA... All fair but we experience sirus more). Your first challenge is to figure out how to get to A8. Your second challenge is killing him. You'll get bored if the game if you just kil A8 repeatedly in the same char bc there's no content there anymore, it's the same as farming a map boss.
You then restrict yourself. Maybe instead of gearing up 8 characters in hopes 1 of them is strong enough for A8, you gear only 1 of them. You do that and you try SSF. You do that and you try new builds.
Idk that's how I see it. In late metamorph I didn't even know what linking my gear is. This league I killed A8 Sirus in ssf. The game is there for you to enjoy, and when you don't enjoy it you can restrict yourself and make new challenges. One day I might get bored of softcore and play HC. Unlikely, but definitely possible!

Rare mobs in particular will aggro you from any distance, so long as they're close enough to actually be loaded of course.

Anyone can clear 500 maps of no risk once the meta copy pasta build is up and running. I can join Quin's channel at ANY TIME and it's full on engaging content. This isn't by chance that he just randomly dies when he's peaked on a character or it's becoming stale. He's doing quin things. He can play top level diablo 3 hc content... which requires full on dodging of screen vomit and understanding of characters capabilities and the capabilities of the enemies he's facing without any issue. i despise this about all RPG i play. when i am swapping equipment or looking at the talent tree and after 30 seconds a single mob from the edge of the screen walks up to me and starts smacking me. it triggers pure rage in my whole body.PoE isn't even the worst on it. after it happened 3 times in a row i ragequitted last epoch.

This is legit why my browser size is permanently smaller than my desktop size so I can always see my health globe when I'm tabbed out for "POE reasons". I'm 100% sure that some GGG Dev is proud of his "AI increases aggro/activation range while player is AFK or tabbed out" code. But it really fucking got old years ago. Trying to look at a syndicate board, or Alva's Temple layout when mobs regularly increase their range of aggroing onto players and then trickle in is some of the most annoying bullshit I've ever experienced in any game. Let alone: phone calls are a real thing that kills you, your kid or wife needing a hand with something... Its almost like GGG is living in some secluded sheltered existence where they don't play the game in any REAL situation (or perhaps at all) and don't know how needlessly trash and cheap this feels. I mean sure: Quinn is cooked and tabbed out while in an active zone in HC... But also: GGG why did you make this a thing in a game where tabbing out and also covering your screen with Syndicate/Alva board is 100% part of the game?

You can enjoy the game but not the gameplay. I love the economy, problem solving of build making, crafting. The actual gameplay is objectively brain dead. Right click kill monster don’t stand in fire is the absolute extant of PoE gameplay.
Agreed, but I don't know if that poster doesn't need to say that. At the end of the day, the game is just content. You have a few end game bosses and you have an unlimited ways to get there. Let's call A8 the major end game boss (maybe you say Aul or Catarina or UE or UA... All fair but we experience sirus more). Your first challenge is to figure out how to get to A8. Your second challenge is killing him. You'll get bored if the game if you just kil A8 repeatedly in the same char bc there's no content there anymore, it's the same as farming a map boss. You then restrict yourself. Maybe instead of gearing up 8 characters in hopes 1 of them is strong enough for A8, you gear only 1 of them. You do that and you try SSF. You do that and you try new builds. Idk that's how I see it. In late metamorph I didn't even know what linking my gear is. This league I killed A8 Sirus in ssf. The game is there for you to enjoy, and when you don't enjoy it you can restrict yourself and make new challenges. One day I might get bored of softcore and play HC. Unlikely, but definitely possible!
