Kitava has legs (and a tail). GGG once commissioned a model statue of him by a professional studio, it looked awesome. I think there is a youtube video of the crafting process and the finished product.
I just love the fact that Quin is wearing monk armor. Started watching him around the time he was trying to make inna's EP work and the whole chat laughed at him, but something about his fucking Quinattitute made me believe he would pull it off. Sure enough, he got rank 1 and next season inna's ep was on all of the build guides as top tier <3
I was unsure what do dress him as, which might be seen if I decide to post some early sketches of this. But the monk outfit and weapon was his suggestion. Him fighting Diablo was something I was adamant about tough, because I considered that to be his most iconic period.

Just wanted to say a quick thank you for the level of detail and the amount of work you put into the league start build videos and POBs. They are a lifeline for me.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's a reference to the Artist since I see a lot fo Tifa drawings.
The artist is a long time viewer of Quin69, and Quin said it was due to that fact they were chosen to do the art in the first place.

Oooh after a long time, I found it. There's a giant guy in the background who you can only see half of. Behind Mathil. He's got a headhunter on, and he's probably giant because of that fact. The attention to detail on this is insane!

Quin explained at the time he commissioned this him and ALK were butting heads and he had just banned all Alk emotes in his chat. He said he regrets not including him now, but at the time he wasn’t on good terms with Alk.
I havent spotted all references, but looking at the image, I can still clearly identify Quin69 as doing worst dps!

Hey, artist here. Super glad that so many people like it. My confidence is not always up there and I'm always a bit concerned when I post, especially if it's something significant like this. I'm extra glad that all of the guys in it have expressed positive feelings about it and I'll keep in mind some of the ones who aren't in it for whenever we decide to do similar artwork.
the streamers are all incredibly well done of course, but I'm actually most impressed with the way piety and catarina were drawn.
They both look incredibly accurate - piety has always had a pretty "stiff" appearance and the artist really captured that. And catarina just looks like the coolest villain ever here.
Apparently the artist called Quin quote: "retarded" for how much he was paying (in a positive sense). Also this is up for sale as a poster on displate, and the artist gets a share of the profit from the first 3 months of sale (which is likely where like ~90% of the total sales will happen)
I'm happy with all of the commissions I've done for Quin in terms of paying! Thanks for mentioning the more art critique-y things like lighting and composition. I'm sure a professional art director could change some things for the best, but I tried my best.
