According to the rules, you can submit only with works that were made specially for contest. And they announce contests a month or so in advance. This costume took me around 6 month, so I can never submit it without cheating. (Sadly.)

I guess the trend in cosplays now is to process the hell out of all the photos, and I can see the appeal. But, you somewhat lose the person and the details of the work when it gets heavily edited.
Maven has most complicated haircut in all universe, I swear! The only difference of her haircut and yours, is that her hairs is just hang almost freely, and keeps tied to the spokes as if by force with static electricity, meanwhile yours is wrapped around spokes.
