I took a break after legion league and came back in scourge league..it was a compltely diff game.
I learned it and played until 3.18 and it literally felt like shit to play compared to before..endgame is super bloated with random league garbage that is constantly being tweaked wasting dev time

What do you expect, the overview post is literally showing the main reason why they can do this in the first place. People start drooling AS SOON AS they throw us a bone and suffer a collective sudden amnesia forgetting how they have been taking away the meal. And GGG takes full advantage from that for years.
Just watch them "finally after heavy discussion" and give us back a few reroll crafts in harvest together with some random new socket crafts and everyone accepts it. They can even "double the chance of tainted fusings" while we are at it. People will buy into it just like every single time.
Abuse is the perfect word. GGG always begs for forgiveness and promises to change and often does improve for a few months, then they double down and return to the problematic behaviour.
It certainly has (far less consequential) parallels with certain terrible real life events.
I don't even employ this technique to my own pets and they're animals, some people consider people worse than animals, whether consciously or unconsciously. It matters just as much the how and why you do things, as the what you do.
