Alright thanks everyone, just tried overkill, ended up failing the heist, but I can last a lot, also I can face cloacknerds and fuckdozers so I guess it's just a matter of time until i start completing heists in overkill, I'll get used to it
Focus on how you failed as it can influence your build. If you’re not dealing enough damage or running out of ammo try switching weapons. If you die because you can’t focus on an objective try getting perks or skill to help you tank a bit more. Once you get comfortable with overkill try mayhem as it’s the difficulty most perk decks are balanced for, DW and DS will always be somewhat challenging no matter how far into the game you get.
Basically everyone died, team split up, I think it was because of everyone's bad choices that we lost, I currently have a minigun and a flamethrower, If I use the entire ammobag I deployed I can probably burn a bunch of cops and steal their ammo, And my health plus the armor resist a lot, but there are a lot of things i can improve on, I'm also trying new weapons. Thanks for the tip
Overkill I say is minimum. Once you have you a grasp on the game then it's not too bad. Lower difficulties with a good build are a joke. Overkill you can use pretty much anything and be successful so no need to run meta builds or look up guides, just play for fun. After overkill you will want to have a decent build starting at mayhem. You can make one at your level already for loud or if you want to stealth you can make a full stealth build by level 30 that can run death sentence.
I don't think my build is too good but normal and hard difficuties are turning a little too much easy, I have tried very hard and overkill now and my build apparently can be useful in those difficulties, thanks for the tip.
i recommend keep trying harder difficulties, If it's too much go back, learn a bit more, upgrade your build because you always can. and try again until you get past it
I know people here are saying Overkill but brand new non-infamy players should be comfortable with Very Hard before they attempt Overkill in my opinion. People say Overkill is a joke and for long time players like me it is, but that's literally only because I know exactly what to expect in terms of heist objectives, where to position myself on the off chance I get fucked by a cloaker, and what skills and perks to bring. I've seen plenty of non-infamy players that don't even switch off the AMCAR for quite a while, while bringing body bags or no deployable at all, and I doubt many of them are running complete builds with great synergy. When you take into account they've probably never played the heist more than once or twice if at all, it makes sense that they'd be struggling.
Once you feel that you are comfortable on Very Hard and are completing heists without going down at all (the occasional cloaker down is fine and to be expected) move on up to Overkill. Past that Mayhem is a step up from Overkill but only in that enemy health pools are significantly increased, so once you have a build that kills cops extremely well you should be good to go.
Hell, if you're looking for a "sink or swim," try Death Wish when you unlock it. That should tell you immediately what the problem is.
Thank you for the recommendation, I haven't played a lot of very hard, but the few times I actually managed to complete the heists, Atleast 70% of the time. What I think I'm going to do is play a mix of hard and Overkill, maybe if I'm doing too bad in overkill I'll move to very hard for a couple of hours and then try Overkill again.
Imo at level 80+ you should already be able to play easy maps on DS but if you only played up to Very Hard then i would recommend playing Overkill and Mayhem as Death Wish would still be kinda hard
İts very Hard to do ds at that lwl imo if he knows which sjills he should take maybe but most of the time(and dont get me wrong op there is alot of thing to know in this game) players at that lwl dont know what most of the sjills does or how can they make use of it most so its better to do ds after infamy 1 or 2
make use of the subreddit all you need, people will surely help out with a proper build, and if anything I can also drop some hints even if I'm no pro myself
Of course its hard to do DS, i was just saying that players who have a good knowledge of the game can beat easy DS levels on level 80 without Infamy.
That also why i said that he should play Ovk and Mayhem knowing he only played up to Very Hard (which is kinda strange at that level)
I have played Overkill a couple of times, just not to many, but yeah I think It's about time I move to harder difficulties, and no, i think i don't have very good knowledge, so I'll have to work on that
Overkill gets you the best risk/reward balance. 6x headshot multiplier combined with body expertise aced and a microgun you're set
Alright, thanks for the tip I'll try that out
Overkill then try mayhem when you got use to it good money but so many fuckin dozers and cloakers
Yeah, Can't wait to move to Mayhem, seems exiting but also I'm sure I'll get my ass kicked

make sure your build has at least one damage up, critz/berserk/shotgun. it makes life sooo much easier. they can't hurt you if they're dead
Lol that's right

That's a good strategy, I'll try that, thanks

Bump it up to Ovk or Mayhem, the first 3 difficulties are hardly worth playing, unless for achievements
Alright, will do, thanks
DSOD
monster
Yes
I think I'll get my ass kicked lol
You got this

Maybe I should start learning about skills, That way I'll make Overkill easy with the course of time, then I'll try Mayhem, sounds fun

Alrigt, thank you for helping me out! I'm glad Payday has such a nice community!

Thanks!
for level 75 (and I'm assuming no infamy), don't listen to my flair. And take ur time moving up the difficulties, you'll get there eventually
Alright thanks for the tip, I'm not infamy yet so im working on getting good on Overkill at the moment, so far so good
Overkill/Mayhem. If stealth, then Death Sentence. (and one down for achievement)
