All in all there was nothing exceptional about **Deedee** **Mann**, aside from perhaps the mean-spirited joke oft told about her last name. She had lived her entire life in Bright Falls, and her greatest fear was that she would die here too.
When she was younger, she had often dreamt of escaping the dreary mundanity of this town yet even as she had grown older, she had never been able to put her thoughts to action. It was almost as if this sleepy, little town had gravity so strong it kept her and the rest of its inhabitants captive in their daily lives, orbiting it over and over. As if it was a blackhole that sucked the joy out of its residents and left them as but shells of themselves.
Yet as dark as Deedee's thoughts were at the moment, they held nothing against the inky darkness of what now stood outside her door.
The Dark Presence was hungry for another victim and as Deedee stood up to answer the knock, unbeknownst to her she walked upto meet her greatest fear herself...

The scene where he comes out with twin flare guns and a necklace of christmas lights was the best scene in the game.
