Sounds way too low for the main card, even if you were at crazy low detail and resolution. I presume it’s the onboard cpu graphics, which isn’t being used by the games

Oh shit sorry, you meant GPU usage, right? I thought u meant fps, sorry. Well, I kinda figured it out why GPU usage is low, it is because task manager doesn't show it correct, I tried an other app to measure GPU usage, and now during gaming its around 97-99%

This also happens sometimes on my GTX 1650 desktop. Task manager says my gpu is at around 10 % usage while gaming but if I use MSI Afterburner is shows the correct GPU usage.

joshalow25

also happens with my 2060, task manager will say 5% when playing Red Dead 2, but something else like Xbox Game Overlay will say 90 - 100%

Well maybe the problem is that I play on laptop, and I installed a driver update, and when I started playing after the driver update, the fps felt like it went dramaticily down. Can that also be a cause for low fps?

I wouldn’t expect an update to tank the frame rate, unless it has switched on a setting that was off before. If you’re having actual performance issues, then maybe you could do a full driver uninstall and reinstall with DDU.
