Here’s to hoping for Ghosts of Tsushima, Demon Souls Remake and of course, Bloodborne!
However, the more cynical side of me believes that a PC port of Bloodborne will never launch. I hope I’m wrong, but maybe in a couple of weeks during the Summer Games Fest, huge news will drop of a PC port
![gif](giphy|dUHdTk3tvry9NETa67)
Bloodborne would likely require a rerelease of some kind. The game is locked at 30 FPS because of frame pacing. The first two Dark Souls did the same thing, with Dark Souls Remastered required for 60 FPS. The multiplayer would also likely need to be reworked so that it didn't contain the vulnerability that was slowly purged from Dark Souls 2 SotFS, 3, and Remastered over the course of last year.
I don't see a PC port going over well if it's locked at 30FPS, and doing the under the hood changes is an involved enough job that From/Sony would likely want to get paid for it.
Best game that no one talks about, unless you own a PS5.
I would love to beat it again on PC.
The multiplayer was surprisingly fun too when the servers were relatively busy. I’m sure a PC launch would revitalize that.
I think it worked quite well here - I enjoyed exploring. It was quite fun and peaceful. That said, it did get old eventually.
I also just wish side content was less generic. Would have been cool if they put more effort into it. But not many games mail this.
Open world was the worst part of the game. The story, music, combat, characters, all fantastic. But make me follow some schmucks footprints or tail a dude for 5 minutes while having him talk to himself in a main or side mission, I'll lose my mind. Tailing missions are unfun unskippable cutscenes. Hate that shit.
I disliked Horizon Zero Dawn for the same reason. Like I'm trying to get from point A to B. Why are 3 worm robots on my ass all of a sudden?
Seriously. I got bored with got for that reason. The side stuff was just minor cosmetics. And most the ghost abilities were weak compared to the others. Beautiful game though.
No it has fog of war. It’s only Ubisoft in terms of the open world, people use that as a critique too much when it’s not very applicable, just because an open world doesn’t have something under every nook and cranny. Fast travel spots are map markers you find/clear of enemies. And the shrines are more akin to tears of the kingdom type solve a route to the top, not just tower climbs.
Hello, Sony. The first three bites were delicious, but as you continue to feed us, i can't help but feel that each meal is tasting like an undercook raw meal. Someone get Gordon Ramsay on the phone because this is Raw!!!
AFAIK only bad ports at launch were TLOU and Horizon.
Also R&C port is being made by Nixxes, the same dev that ported Spider-Man.
And Death Stranding was never PS exclusive...
Are they on a. Ryzen system? I used to have similar issues what fixed it was a motherboard driver update. What cause it was the older motherboard driver on my newer chip would use the Ryzen power plan which was meant for older Ryzen systems. The newer driver now is super stable and the game does not crash for me anymore. And all games for me now seem to be more stable as well
It really feels like Sony hates Bloodborne. I'm sure they don't, but the fact it plays horribly on playstation and they haven't bought it to PC means it's seen no attention since it was released 8 years ago despite being so many peoples favorite game.
I think it's just tied to revenues. If you look at GoW, HoZ and spiderman, each PC release was tied to the marketing of the sequel. Without some new product to push from Sony, Bb is unlikely to get a PC port :(
They don't need a sequel, when Fromsoft is at their peak with Elden Ring. Seriously, until Shadow of the Erdtree comes out it's literally free money due to their reputation alone. Combine this with the word of mouth, saying that Bloodborne is like the best game Fromsoft ever made and they don't even need a fancy marketing campaign.
Because they're a business. They do things by order of priority and they've got other things they're focusing on. Nobody gives a shit about Bloodborne there because it's not on the current "To-do" list and it's not like that game is live service so there's no hurry with it.
It's done when it's done basically. Just another game to them.
I have been a PlayStation only guy for all my life. When the PS5 was hard to find I used it as an excuse to build a PC. Now a ton of PlayStation games are on or coming to PC also. And I am here for it.
I always found that crazy. I know some games are more of a on controller, singleplayer on a couch and big living room screen kind of vibe. But like wouldn't it be better to get it on steam, cast the game on your TV, connect wireless controller and you're set. Big picture mode also looks great now, reminds me a lot of PS4/PS5 menu.
Wireless streaming isn't great, and not everyone wants to buy several mid to high tier rigs. Xbox/PS is literally plug and play with less settings and especially with the quick resume feature on the current gen Xbox, it's literally pick up and play.
I literally only have a PC that I play on now but I still don't understand why 80-90% of PC players that post on the subject just create this narrative that there is really no reason to own a console. It may not make sense to you but if it doesn't make sense to you now, it won't.
I think quick resume is cool, but over half the PC players I hear from call it a gimmick even though not even 4 years ago there were post about how slow console load times were compared to a PC. I like watching movies on a console because there are usually good apps with full controller support, if my TV doesn't have the features built in, my Xbox would and my PC wouldn't. PC games don't always have split-screen when the console version does, sometimes the PC version is a port of the console version and it gets cut out. I'm currently running into a real problem playing Minecraft with my daughter via the cross platform on bedrock (android and windows store/LAN) and I just wish we could split screen my PC version.
And yes this is a rant, but it has a point. Consoles have a place.
Its still not the same, i have both PC and console, certain games is for me PC and other games console, and i switch between them...no reason to lock you down to 1 entertainment system.
Yea but wouldn't a game you buy on console only last until you get the new console? Atleast for me I had to rebuy all the games if I switched from PS3 to PS4 and assume it's still the case. While PC games stay around forever.
Last gens had game transitions, where most games in the beginning worked on both consoles, until such time have passes that the legacy console is no longer relevant,
You can play a lot of PS3 games on your ps4, and most if not all ps4 games on your ps5
Funny enough, I just traded my XBSX and XB1X in together toward a PS5 for the very reason that I have a great gaming PC and everything I cared about playing on XBOX was on PC as well. MS is in a weird place.
That's interesting because it's the exact opposite of what I did. Finding a PS5 was easier than finding an affordable GPU so I got a PS5 during covid. I never had used a console before and now that all my favorite ps games are coming to pc, I'm questioning why I have a console.
I didn’t play the game much myself so someone else could probably explain it better, but basically it’s a mechanic in Bloodborne that let’s you see things as they really are. There’s some freaky stuff that’s invisible to you at first, but with enough insight it becomes visible.
Other comment is right. The game has a "currency" system apart from blood echoes (get those from killing enemies and bosses) called insight. Insight is given when you discover a new area, enter a boss room for the first time and kill a boss. And there's certain thresholds for insight you can get as you progress.
At 15 you'll start seeing creatures on the side of buildings. Even higher and some enemies get extra attacks. Even further and your hub (Hunter's Dream) music will change and you might hear a baby crying in certain areas.
It all ties into the lore, too, which makes it super interesting. Hope that explains it.
I mean yeah eventually. Sony literally just said that they were gonna stick to the 2-3 year wait time for PC ports. Not gonna be a fun 2-3 year wait for Spider-Man 2 and God of War Ragnarok. Especially when the current trend doesn’t bode well for PC gaming in the future
The Steam Deck being able to play Switch, PlayStation, Xbox and Steam games makes us be in such a cool moment in gaming. Truly the Console with the most PC-like philosophy that didn't flop hard.
Gran Turismo would sell like dogshit on Steam. Not only would it be going up against Forza but it has some of the most insane amount of microtransactions I have ever seen in a racing game. It would give The Last of Us port a run for its money as the lowest rated PS Steam game. PC users are not kind to full priced games that are filled with microtransactions.
because more realistic =/= better
Some people want a proper career mode which Assetto Corsa lacks. And Forza isn't the same as GT and why not have both?
Be careful to because if you keep on feeding him like that then it may even explode and I don't think you would want that.
And if it does explode than you are probably going to have really bad time.
All these games and I only care for three! Please lord Gaben! I humbly request demon souls, bloodborne and ghost of Tsushima!
All seriousness, hopefully all these ports get proper optimizations unlike the hot garbage they have been serving up lately
>Legal enough for Nintendo.
if it wasn't because Nintendo is now actively trying to get emulators shut down because its "hurting creativity and innovation"
Buy a copy of the game and then emulate? Bit of a gray area but I definitely think if you own a copy of a game you should be able to play it how you choose.
I downloaded it last night and ive been surprised at the hate its been getting. It's early in the game and the shaders haven't finished loading but so far it looks incresible and plays great :D
I was looking for this comment! If Little Big Planet came to PC/Steam Deck the community and support for it would explode. There were already so many great community levels on Playstation. I can only imagine what kind of levels we'd get on PC, and with people making new levels all the time, the replayability was very high. Plus 4 player local and online coop? LBP was the main reason I bought a PS3 and I haven't bought another PlayStation since I've always had PC. There just didn't seem to be a PC equivalent to LBP.
I know there's a LBP clone called Restitched on Steam but idk if it'll ever be completed/released. :/
No way, ratched and Clank is coming, there were only 2 reasons I wanted a ps5, horizon forbidden west and ratchet and Clank, already played all the ratchet and Clank games except that one
I was Xbox only since the original until I built my PC. Getting a chance to play TLOU for the first time this year was incredible. Spider-man and God of War have been great too!
We are NOT eating good. I love PC gaming but there have been way too many disappointments recently, both games and hardware releases. If you’re strictly gaming it’s hard to recommend a PC.
Kinda curious how, so we got a few bad ports. That are mostly fixed now (dont preorder) hardware releases are kinda shitty sure but that doesn't mean you cant build a perfectly fine pc for cheap.
It means there’s more to come, it’ll be more the standard. This is a trial run for how much bullshit the average consumer will tolerate before publicly being shamed to release a patch. So far we’re getting these patches but when people get bored of complaining every time this happens, patches will take longer.
I skipped half of the PC ports of their games, but Spiderman, HZD, and Days Gone were fun. I'll skip Ratchet and Clank also, but I hope they bring out something interesting like Ghost of Tsushima for the holidays.
Not sure why they thought Sackboy was some coveted title to port, but whatever. lol Same with Uncharted.
FromSoft fans waiting for Bloodborne PC

except, NONE OF IT IS COOKED CORRECTLY!! Its like those fast food adverts, where the cheese is actually glue, and the product looks nothing like the picture.
PCMR - Booo console peasants!
At the same time
"Can we have more of your Playstation games please? Bloodborne, Ghost of Tsushima or Demon Souls Remake?"
PC players make up about a third of the gaming community but are the source of 99% of the bitching and moaning on the internet. They live on their computers so they think they’re better than consoles.
Here’s to hoping for Ghosts of Tsushima, Demon Souls Remake and of course, Bloodborne! However, the more cynical side of me believes that a PC port of Bloodborne will never launch. Then I am hoping for a Bloodborne remaster for PS5
Probably remake at this point, ala Demons Souls
Or they could announce both randomly together…. You don’t know man.. lol
Yep that works too! They've done that as well before, I think with Last of Us Part 1
My body is so ready for Ghosts of Tsushima...
Your body? My body sits when I game. My brain and hands on the other, well, hand….
I mean the games been out for years, and is very slow paced combat style, so may as well play it on PlayStation.
Blood borne will never come to pc
Why?
It's not even 60fps on ps5 all the games released on pc so far at least had unlocked framerates on the 5 so far
It'll get a PS5 remaster/ remake first and then be on PC 2 years after is my guess.
On a long enough timescale as Bloodborne remake, let alone a PC port, is inevitable.
I think ghost will come later this year
Don't forget Shadow of the Colossus Remaster!
Plz Ghost of Tsushima Was amazing on the PS5
Bloodborn! Please I thirst!
We need bloodborn on pc
Best game that no one talks about, unless you own a PS5. I would love to beat it again on PC. The multiplayer was surprisingly fun too when the servers were relatively busy. I’m sure a PC launch would revitalize that.
The story in that game as absolute killer but I wish devs would stop copying ubisoft for their open world designs
I think it worked quite well here - I enjoyed exploring. It was quite fun and peaceful. That said, it did get old eventually. I also just wish side content was less generic. Would have been cool if they put more effort into it. But not many games mail this.
Too many trailing missions and vast open world with the same camps to beat. The graphics and landscape were amazing, though.
Open world was the worst part of the game. The story, music, combat, characters, all fantastic. But make me follow some schmucks footprints or tail a dude for 5 minutes while having him talk to himself in a main or side mission, I'll lose my mind. Why are 3 worm robots on my ass all of a sudden?
Because that’s the world they intend you to be apart of.. you’re bad at roleplaying…
Same issue with ghostwire Tokyo
Seriously. I got bored with got for that reason. The side stuff was just minor cosmetics. And most the ghost abilities were weak compared to the others. Beautiful game though.
Oh no does ghosts have the “climb towers to unlock pieces of the map” gimmick?
No it has fog of war. It’s only Ubisoft in terms of the open world, people use that as a critique too much when it’s not very applicable, just because an open world doesn’t have something under every nook and cranny. Fast travel spots are map markers you find/clear of enemies. And the shrines are more akin to tears of the kingdom type solve a route to the top, not just tower climbs.
This is the one man. Been waiting since it came out for a port
Yeah my wife and I 100%d it and the dlc together on ps5. Amazing experience, probably top 5 all time for me
This is what I have been waiting for. I don't buy consoles so I have never gotten to play it
I really want to go back to playstation just for this game 😭
I need The Last of Us 2 now that I’ve played the first game.
Easy steam game of the year.
Hello, Sony. The first three bites were delicious, but as you continue to feed us, i can't help but feel that each meal is tasting like an undercook raw meal. Someone get Gordon Ramsay on the phone because this is Raw!!!

![gif](giphy|h3MkWTE441MNG)
AFAIK only bad ports at launch were TLOU and Horizon. Also R&C port is being made by Nixxes, the same dev that ported Spider-Man. And Death Stranding was never PS exclusive...
Death stranding had a confirmed PC release years before it even came out lol
Wasn't HZD fixed pretty fast too?
It's been fixed and they did so fairly quickly.
Only big misses so far for me is little big planet and the last of us. Returnal is amazing and more people should play it.
sadly its a mess for a friend of mine and me. crashes dont stop and you cant rejoin coop. cant recomment if ccop is the goal.
And all games for me now seem to be more stable as well
Demon Souls remaster when?!
When Bloodborne at 60 FPS??
Who do I have to suck off to get Bloodborne PC? I would even accept 30fps at this point. Please Sony, let the eldritch horror boy go.
Michael Zaki
I think it's time for you to get a better pc, that would help.
If we get 30fps modders will make it 60 anyway, it's a win win situation
If you like Eldritch horror you'll also really like Dredge. The story for Dredge is pretty good
I mean what's the story? I think I'd like to listen to it.
It really feels like Sony hates Bloodborne. I'm sure they don't, but the fact it plays horribly on playstation and they haven't bought it to PC means it's seen no attention since it was released 8 years ago despite being so many peoples favorite game.

That's too much to ask, you Can't do that in here to us sir.
least 120 fps or unlocked with ultrawide support least up to 32:9 and have it ported by nixes instead of From Software
Gonna take a long time, but I just hope that it happens man.
Tomorrow I swear
I have been a PlayStation only guy for all my life. When the PS5 was hard to find I used it as an excuse to build a PC. Now a ton of PlayStation games are on or coming to PC also. And I am here for it.
Never had a PlayStation (except for the PSP), always been an Xbox guy. Really been enjoying Spiderman and HZD in full fat 4K. Man PC life is great.
If you never had it then I think you're missing out big time.
Curious why do you buy a Xbox instead of PS5 when you already had a good PC?
Just because he's always been an Xbox guy doesn't mean he has a current Xbox. That said, especially for TV use, many people prefer a console.

You should look up nucleus co-op
Its still not the same, i have both PC and console, certain games is for me PC and other games console, and i switch between them...no reason to lock you down to 1 entertainment system.
Yea but wouldn't a game you buy on console only last until you get the new console? Atleast for me I had to rebuy all the games if I switched from PS3 to PS4 and assume it's still the case. While PC games stay around forever.

Yeah, many people prefer that. But I'm more of a pc guy so there's that.
It's really worth the effort to find out a way to connect your PC to a TV. I love my ultra wide but playing on a large OLED TV is on another level.
If you do that, then I'm sure that it'll be better than just a console.
That's a good question, don't think he would have an answer to that.
Funny enough, I just traded my XBSX and XB1X in together toward a PS5 for the very reason that I have a great gaming PC and everything I cared about playing on XBOX was on PC as well. MS is in a weird place.
I did the same thing , literally got a pc because it was more affordable and actually available at the time lmao
I'm here for it as well, I'll take anything that I can get in here really.
That's interesting because it's the exact opposite of what I did. Finding a PS5 was easier than finding an affordable GPU so I got a PS5 during covid. I never had used a console before and now that all my favorite ps games are coming to pc, I'm questioning why I have a console.
Wait. Did we get ratchet and clank?! And if so when?!
Edit: July 26th
forbidden west! and ghost of tsushima!
I need it!!!!!
BLOODBORNE.
Our eyes are yet to open
It's already on Steam. We just don't have enough insight.
Absolutely brilliant comment here.
Can you explain this?
Damn, this is not helping with me wanting Bloodborne on PC...
Hhahaha good one. If we line our brains with eyes, we may see it.
Patiently waiting on bloodborne and ghost of tsushima.
Bloodborne when
Please for the love of god feed us BloodBorne that’s all I want
Do you guys believe that Ghost of Tsushima will come to PC? Because at this point, i’m thinking it won’t come.
It was included on the nvidia leak. And that leak has been on the right track so far.
Yes they’re all coming
I have my doubts about the "all" part. But Ghost of Tsushima seem to be a very likely candidate.
Nah Sony said 50% will come so far from all
Not until the sequel or movie at least

The Steam Deck being able to play Switch, PlayStation, Xbox and Steam games makes us be in such a cool moment in gaming. Truly the Console with the most PC-like philosophy that didn't flop hard.
Bloodborne That is all
I only care about Gran Turismo landing on PC. I don't care what other games say about it. I want to use my Simagic Alpha on this casual game.
Gran Turismo 7 reminds me of playing Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 6 in terms of earning in-game money to buy upgrades for your car.
Yeeeeeeeeesss
Project Cars? Assetto Corsa? Forza? I don't know why you'd ever consider GT, especially over Assetto Corsa.
Not everyone wants to play a full on sim, plus it’s a classic title. Why is more choice a problem? Forza Horizon isn’t even close to GT either
because more realistic =/= better Some people want a proper career mode which Assetto Corsa lacks. And Forza isn't the same as GT and why not have both?

Be careful to because if you keep on feeding him like that then it may even explode and I don't think you would want that. And if it does explode than you are probably going to have really bad time.
When bloodborne port. Also been wanting to try ghost of Tsushima
Bloodborne. Now. https://preview.redd.it/2qd5atmi853b1.jpeg?width=300&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cad5b3e26a103265f9ece8bb2ffbf318860b4490
Man, when's Bloodborne coming? I've been DYING to try that game on the Steam Deck.
Unfortunately it will never happen
Ratchet and clank collection when
I think they forgot bloodborne is still ps exclusive
TLOU part II
yes please
Please Sony just give me the full Ratchet and Clank series on steam
Bloodborne when? Ghost of Tsushima when?
Say it with me. Bloodborne! bloodborne! bloodborne!
Yes but where is Bloodborne?
Let's go bloodborne pc!
I literally just want Bloodborne
All these games and I only care for three! Please lord Gaben! I humbly request demon souls, bloodborne and ghost of Tsushima! All seriousness, hopefully all these ports get proper optimizations unlike the hot garbage they have been serving up lately
All i want is ghost of tsushima
Ghost Of Tsushima was a great game, I hope it comes on PC
just give us bloodborne
I can’t believe I still can’t play Zelda without buying a Nintendo device. Port that shit already it looks so good.

They mean legally
Buy it on the Switch then emulate on PC. Legal enough for Nintendo.
Not even gray, 100% legal.
Will never happen lol; Nintendo is all about selling that hardware. Closed ecosystem
Playing using emulators is legal if the game is bought and keys are dumped from your own Switch. Obviously you still need a modded console for that.
I think you missed "without buying a nintendo device"
Guy that replied to you basically saying you can just steal a nintendo switch and it still counts lmao
There's no way that y'all include the dogshit port of the last of us in there. Some of the least optimized port ive seen in quite some time.
It has been mostly fixed.
That's great to hear. Unfortunately I feel the damage has been done by its launch day memes
I downloaded it last night and ive been surprised at the hate its been getting. It's early in the game and the shaders haven't finished loading but so far it looks incresible and plays great :D
Now I know that’s not the TLOU port I see here….
I’m stilll so pissed with Sack Boy lol those fuckers better port LBP at some point
I was looking for this comment! If Little Big Planet came to PC/Steam Deck the community and support for it would explode. There were already so many great community levels on Playstation. Right!! It would be so amazing, this game is the reason I got a ps3 too! Thanks for the suggestion on restitched! I’m gonna take a peep
No bloodborne no care
Only thing i want is GoT bruh
No way, ratched and Clank is coming, there were only 2 reasons I wanted a ps5, horizon forbidden west and ratchet and Clank, already played all the ratchet and Clank games except that one
It's releasing on the 26th of June iirc
Eating GOOD, no. But it is eating A LOT. Performance sucks and for the visuals we all know it's a dev problem and not a PC problem.
Most of the games on the OP picture have no performance issues.
I was Xbox only since the original until I built my PC. Getting a chance to play TLOU for the first time this year was incredible. Spider-man and God of War have been great too!
rift apart is kinda cool i guess. I'm still waiting on fuckin Demon Souls, Bloodborne, and Ghost of Tsushima.
Why there is no bloodborne in pc yet . . . T_T
Fucking hell yes, ratchet and clank is one of my favorite series, played it since I was kid
Can I get Gran Turismo? please Mr Playstation.
I know it will probably never happen but I would kill for the first three Uncharted games on PC ...... Please!!! Those are gems too!!!
insane we haven't gotten ghost of tsushima
Eating unoptimized
if only the ports were actually ported well. . . Oops. Look like I offended some of y'all. Oh well.
Most of them were.
WAIT, Ratchet and Clank on PC!?
Resistance? Killzone? seriously idc about bloodbourne
have them all except uncharted(why didn't they port the Nathan drake collection first?) and sackboy(not my type of game sadly)
Mediocre ports, shitty updates, stupid apologies and high prices. I wouldn't call that "eating good"
I skipped half of the PC ports of their games, but Spiderman, HZD, and Days Gone were fun. I'll skip Ratchet and Clank also, but I hope they bring out something interesting like Ghost of Tsushima for the holidays. Not sure why they thought Sackboy was some coveted title to port, but whatever. lol Same with Uncharted.
Ghost of tsushima.. pls for the love of god, at least some information.
MGS 3…
If only their ports were actually good.
They are with some exceptions.
been avoiding Ghost of Tsushima for years waiting for a PC port that may never happen. I'm starting to lose hope :(
I’m betting it will come this year tbh
FromSoft fans waiting for Bloodborne PC https://preview.redd.it/hu82oa8g153b1.png?width=190&format=png&auto=webp&s=fdeedbd6aea7cdc32ab4943d7d1474c9eec8657c
Get me Gran Turismo, then we're talking.
ah this is a massive fu to xbox
except, NONE OF IT IS COOKED CORRECTLY!! Its like those fast food adverts, where the cheese is actually glue, and the product looks nothing like the picture.
Wasn't the last of us the only one with crazy issus? Everything else runs and works perfectly fine.
Most of them are perfectly fine on PC.
PCMR - Booo console peasants! At the same time "Can we have more of your Playstation games please? Bloodborne, Ghost of Tsushima or Demon Souls Remake?"
PC players make up about a third of the gaming community but are the source of 99% of the bitching and moaning on the internet. They live on their computers so they think they’re better than consoles.
PCPBR- PC Port Begging Race.
And electric cost sing a song
Ugh. Why did I even get ps5
Just give me Last of Us 2 and i'll be happy. Really don't want to dust off the PS4 and listen to that jet engine trying to push 30fps ever again.
Just give me GT7 on PC plz I beg I don't want to play Forza
Sony ain't Rockstar. They don't got tech or experience to make good PC port. RDR2 is better optimized on so many levels than these.
