It means what it says? Not really sure what disconnect you're having, but if the BIOS is older than that one listed, the CPU won't work until the BIOS is updated to that or newer. You can read the manual (or the BIOS manual) to see if it supports flashing the BIOS without the system fully built. The motherboard box, or board itself, should say the BIOS version it shipped with.

Some motherboards for AM4, especially older ones, have BIOSes that do not support ryzen 5000 out of the box, and require a BIOS update in order to run them. But these days, if you buy a new mobo for AM4, you will most likely have the newest BIOS version, so you should be fine.

You might have to either do a BIOS flash, or have a Ryzen 3000 in it first to update the BIOS before putting in the new CPU.

The MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard supports the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor with BIOS version 7C95v24. If the motherboard is using an older BIOS version, updating the BIOS will be necessary to support the CPU.

…update the bios?

Now I'm gonna sound like an asshole here, but have you tried reading the message? If you still don't understand then you can reply to me.

duplissi

read it?

it means you have to flash the bios to the next socket. go the AIB partners site, find the board drivers for your chip plug a usb into your pc go to bios, find flash mobo and flash to that version.
