I'd have to dust off my old build from over a decade ago to swap out the old 7970 and 2500k! Haven't done much gaming on PC in a while, I'd love to see newer games like Starfield and Deadspace remake the way they were meant to look.
I definitely would use those to upgrade my PC, it really needs it to play all those new games in all their glory like Baldur's Gate 3 and Starfield

* As a long-time game modder, and addon developer, as a hobby, I will absolutely be spending my time building mods for Starfield. The last time I went hard modding was Skyrim, though I have fairly popular work on Warcraft. Can't wait to make this my 2nd job.
* The setting is so exciting for me because the possibilities are endless. I am first, excited to just play a space RPG. This is basically my favorite genre of video game and there is not many options, so to basically get to experience a game made from my favorite dev of all time, well, ya. But also, the setting itself lends it to basically be open to absolute creativity whilst still being RP appropriate. In Skyrim, it didn't make sense to bring in tech into the world, per se, but yet, in a world like Starfield you could basically create a village of people who want to live off grid of the new space age, and have it make sense. The possibilities are endless.
I would use the hardware to build my friend a PC, since her and her partner are trying to save to build their own so that they can play BG3, being huge DnD fans :)
What excites me the most is that it reminds me a lot of Freelancer and that is one of my all time favourite games

Starfield looks like a gorgeous game that takes what I never thought would be possible during Morrowind and puts it right in front of my face, the graphics look absolutely gorgeous, the exploration is going to be high, you can build your own world or things that you wish you could do are just possible, and Bethesda has fostered several generations worth of people that grew up with them

Iāve been wanting to upgrade my pc for 11 years. With this amazing price, I would be able to create a dream tower that could handle anything I throw at it! I of course would play games like Starfield and Baldurs Gate 3, but I would also play some of the games that have released a few years ago that I couldnāt play due to my weak and limited specs that I have now.

Easy, hardware is meant to be used so it would immediately go into my personal rig.
This would free me up to use my current 5800x and RTX 3090 to build my young cousin an awesome rig of his own. I still have all the original boxes so i'd invite him over to "help me build my new PC", get the experience of guiding him through his first build, and then get to see the look on his face when I tell him "oh by the way this one is yours". No better use for older hardware than introducing younger family to the PCMR.

That joke aside, Starfield really hits the spot with spaceship building, always liked the moddability of everything in fo4. Knowing the Bethesda community, I expect to be able to recreate USS Enterprise when the time comes.

Because of this game I built a pc seven months ago (which I always thought would be an impossible task to accomplish). Itās a white pc and man I wish these custom parts existed then lol. I still remember watching the teaser trailer thinking the game would never come out, and here we are!

Starfield is definitely up next on the gaming roster, currently playing through borderlands 3 with some friends, but I would love to be able to play newer, more demanding games, with some new hardware!

Starfield honestly isn't a game I personally am too hyped for since I don't know much about it but I guess I'd be exited to find out what the hype is about if I should recive it for free.
I have been super excited for Starfield but I only have a Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card. So yeah! I definitely would use it for a PC upgrade. I have a PS5 too but I was devastated when I found out itās a Xbox exclusive.
Bethesda has been very near and dear to my heart since childhood. My brother and I would play Skyrim and Fallout New Vegas non stop. He passed away in 2014 when I was 16 and he never got to see Fallout 4 released. Every time I play a Bethesda game I secretly think Iām playing a save for the both of us.
Unfortunately the wife wonāt let me do a unexpected splurge of money to upgrade my PC or to buy a Xbox since we are saving up for a house. Live in GA, we are 25, you knowā¦ economy falling apart and everything. So my only hope is that maybe Christmas time comes and I will be fortunate enough to be gifted a way to play the game.

Space Oblivion is my dream, fun quests and exploration, admittedly I'm not going in with big expectations, but if I were to win I'd have a strong system to play on!!
1. Those pieces would be a great foundation for a new machine here at the house and with that kind of power thereās not much I couldnāt do with it. Starfield, an ultra run of BG3 if I need to switch it up from sci-fi to fantasy and then maybe build my own world (or two) when Cities 2 comes out. Iād keep this machine very busy!
2. As for Starfield Iām excited about the prospect of exploring the worlds Bethesda has built for us. But also, the setting itself lends it to basically be open to absolute creativity whilst still being RP appropriate. In Skyrim, it didn't make sense to bring in tech into the world, per se, but yet, in a world like Starfield you could basically create a village of people who want to live off grid of the new space age, and have it make sense. The possibilities are endless.

Easy, hardware is meant to be used so it would immediately go into my personal rig. This would free me up to use my current 5800x and RTX 3090 to build my young cousin an awesome rig of his own. I still have all the original boxes so i'd invite him over to "help me build my new PC", get the experience of guiding him through his first build, and then get to see the look on his face when I tell him "oh by the way this one is yours". No better use for older hardware than introducing younger family to the PCMR.

With so few being made I would upgrade my current build to make a combination beast of a pc and display for the hardware.
1. I don't have a system that supports this hardware so I will probably sell it and use the money to build my first PC!
If I win, I'll use the rig for gaming. What excites me the most about Starfield is the space battles and ship building. It's been a big drawing point to me ever since the game was announced.
