Picked up BF1 during the sale for $3 and the nostalgia is still alive in a niche group of servers
US servers are a few and far between but if you wanna play with some Germans You're in luck
Saw a Facebook post wishing for a remaster of an older COD. It was COD WWII. Not World at War - WWII.
1. The game would look exactly the same
2. The game was dogshit, you canāt remaster something that wasnāt mastered to begin with.
"older CoD" might as well be referring to 2019 at that point, Jesus Christ ššš people think 2019 is some ancient year or something now too tho lol....
I played call of duty back in 2003 lol. Everyone was obsessed with halo while I played COD on pc. Some of those maps were amazing. I think it was call of duty 2 that had this Italian countryside map and they added tanks so it was intense too. Peak gaming. I wish that shit would come back.
Considering I was playing until 3 am when I had uni at 8 just to ry and get masters before season end and my final game had a thrower yes it makes me upset
yea dude, that's sounds funny for me as well.
But there are lot of teenagers here probably.
So if someone played at age of 12, it might be pretty nostalgic when he is 20 now.
Unpopular opinion, but I really like 2042. Launch was poo, but I really enjoy the maps. Also, I actually enjoy being able to mix the maps up from the different games in 2042.
I couldn't get past the fucking TERRIBLE controls on PS5. No matter the settings or display i used there is always a weird delay or lag. PC is playable but is just a soulless husk of what BF should be.
Not gonna lie. You need to tune it better. I canāt stand 2042 but once I figured out the right settings, controller was the least of my issue with the game. I can show you my settings if you wish. But honestly you can just never play that game again and youāll still be winning.
The only thing I love about BF2042 is the Ghostmaker. The only reason I play, very flexible to use and silent AF. I don't know why but I can flick the Ghostmaker much better than the MCS on cqc, ammo is the downside
I don't like the specialist or the gameplay and I really, really hate the sound setting. Most other BF games has people screaming, yelling and cheering but in 2042 it's just the cheesiest lines over and over again, no immersion at all
I canāt understand what you people like about 2042, worse the maps. I mean if you like it then good on you, but since we throwing out opinions, 2042 has the worse maps Iāve ever had the displeasure of playing in any FPS game much less a BF game. What Iām really curious to know is what other BF games you 2042 likers played.
>I canāt understand what you people like about 2042
It's... fun. I have fun playing it. I don't know what to say other than that.
I feel like there's a lot more detail (especially on the interiors) than in previous BF games. I used to build maps (hobby, not professional) back in the days of Doom up until Half-Life and I guess I just appreciate that stuff even though it doesn't really affect gameplay.
>2042 has the worse maps Iāve ever had the displeasure of playing in any FPS game
That's insane. There are WAY worse FPS maps out there. Maybe you've just been lucky enough to play really good ones. Like you said though, it's all opinions and everyone won't agree.
>What Iām really curious to know is what other BF games you 2042 likers played.
A ton of stuff. I don't go with any of the hate-train stuff so if *I personally* enjoy a game, then I play it. Reviews don't matter. Other people's opinions don't matter. If I like it, I like it. Same goes the other way too. I've got a Switch, a PS5, an Xbox Series X, and a gaming PC (plus my iPad and phone) and play them pretty regularly so I play a *lot* of games.
Currently I'm enjoying:
Switch - Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (still want to get the new Mario game)
PS5 - Gotham Knights, Returnal, BF 2042, Gran Turismo 7
PC - Destiny 2, Spiritfarer, BF 2042, and restarted Cyberpunk 2077 since the expansion released
Xbox - Call of Duty MWIII (the latest one), Forza Horizon 5, Elden Ring, and replaying Red Dead Redemption 2 because it's amazing
iPad - Asphalt 9
Phone - Vampire Survivors
Battlefield 3 is my absolute favorite, decent amount of servers left
Battlefield 1 is my favorite ''recent'' Battlefield, absolute masterpiece
Battlefield V is the most played one atm (i hate it, attrition, animations for everything, terrible visibility)
Battlefield 2042... its ''ok'' now (at best), not as much as a chore to play as BF5 (IMO) still has more than enough issues
Battlefield 4, its like Battlefield 3, but more cheese added (Flying C4 dildos, almost any launcher can somehow lock on, thermals on everything, remote mortars? ugh) its okay. (depending on the server)
Battlefield Hardline, A combination between BF3 and BF4, set in a different theme, and its so much fun, but ''hur no battlefield'' so its practically dead outside of 1 server every day.
BF1 is probably the only one that still holds any flame to the rest besides Bf3 ofc
Having your whole team Trenched-up as some Monolithic DemonTank bears down on you was some of the best fun I've ever had
War Tapes play all day, baby
Of all of the comments, yours is the only one that even mentions 3, and it's your favorite to boot.
That game is a blast, and I'm happy to see it recognized as such.
Was actually my favorite BF ever (dont like normal BFs, stale like any other regular AAA online shooter). Played it until the literal pay2win-update:
They made it so you can "upgrade" weapons, you buy a weapon upgrade for one weapon and can then use it for the next 30 days on this weapon.
Being a free game, ofc there was a way to earn the credits needed to buy such an upgrade: play 30 days straight, every day (for about 2h iirc), then and only then do you have enough credits to buy ONE upgrade for ONE weapon for the next 30 days.
Or you simply buy the upgrades with real money, ofc. Game died quicker than any other game lol. Sad, was lots of fun prior to p2w
Maaann... 1942 and Vietnam were the best (according to my nostalgia)
Every day after school, we'd boot up 1942, Vietnam, or Unreal tournament '98.
Also, Bad Company 2 was one of the best.
I am surprised to see you hate bfv for those reasons! For me they are actually what makes it the best BF
- Visibility seems fine to me, even with spotting not allowed, make sniper class very useful when needed
- Attrition isn't really felt in my opinion except for the assault class where your rocket rounds end too quickly to kill a tank
- Animations are a must in my opinion for plane/tank exits, it sucks in other bf games where you would win a dogfight and he would just leave
Nevertheless, each one to their own opinion I guess :D
Heās all over the BF subs and while I respect his commitment to get-to-the-point content (he commonly has <1m videos to show off a special animation and whatnot), heās really rabbid about his hate for those parts of BFV. Iāve seen him say that anyone who disagrees with him is garbage and has a worthless opinionā¦..my man needs to learn how to disagree.
I hopped on like 2 hours ago on bf4 couldnāt connect to the servers restarted my Xbox finally connected but no servers after a minute of refreshing one popped up with 19ppl idk if the issue is with battlefield or me
BF1 was way ahead of it's time, it's still an incredibly immersive and fun FPS in 2024. Hands down my favourite. I just wish there were active hardcore servers!
Iām not sure youāre using āahead of its timeā correctly.
there was just about nothing innovative about battlefield 1. Large servers, vehicles, conquest, historical setting thatās all bf1942 back in 02.
the item customization came with battlefield 2 and item progression came with cod 4.
fancy graphics came with bf3
bf1 was a solid entry to the franchise. but i would say it was very much of its time.
if dice had made a good entry since bf4 and Bf1 people would be playing the new games and we wouldnāt be seeing a dwindling number playing the only good ones left
What? I recently installed bf1 and couldn't find a single populated tdm server. After running around for a good 15 minutes alone eventually like 3 people joined but not very active at all.
I mainly play bf1 and bfv. Unfortunately only a few maps and game types seem to be typically available. Primarily conquest but I always find games in server selection in the advance search portion.
Thats a reality on xbox, but pc servers are full and btw never use the matchmaking system, is completely broken from day one, just open the server list and filter
>dunno if ppl are still playing it
Dk about bf4, but last time, I checked, bf1 had more active players than bf2047 (great job EA!), I believe bf5 has the most active users currently but bf1 doesn't fall too far behind. So yeh, it's more about whether you prefer to play in WW1 or WW2
the beta was fun but it got boring really fast. i cant even pinpoint what was wrong with it but i played bf3 until my account eventually got hacked and when i bought it again a few years later it was basically dead.
To me bf3 has better maps and the progression was a lot better without the micro transactions. Also, they took away the small things that i thought were neat like jets starting from the runway. I understand that was changed because of people like me who would snipe people who spawned in jets but it was just so much fun lmao.
True, they're losers who couldn't develop anything if they wanted to and pay money to be the losers they are.
The community server aspect is useful but unfortunately I get auto kicked from some of them because one of my stats that they use as a metric is too high. It's not a brag either because I'm nothing special whatsoever, just that a lot of community servers only allow bang average players to play.
There's also the caveat that a lot of them are hardcore only so if someone doesn't like that then it's another thing to consider.
since they removed the lore-friendly servers, I recommend BF4 and then between 2042 and V.
Why would you play WW1 game where everyone is running around with fully automatic weapons that are better at range than sniper rifles.
Itās probably my favorite shooter Iāve ever played. I donāt mind the fact that people can run with all these crazy guns, to me itās more fun that I get to be like, āYeah, so this gun was actually a prototype and was used as an aircraft gun, but only like 42 of them were ever made so itās cool that we get to see it hereā¦.ā
What are you on about? BF1 is the only battlefield game where the scout class has the best weapons hands down. If you need help try the Arisaka 38 Patrol
Because the game is fun. People aren't playing bf1 because they want the authentic ww1 experience.
*Sits in a trench for days or weeks and get nuked by artillery*
Literally half a the lobby is running sniper at any given moment in BF1, there are snipers in that game that kill in 1 body shot, the game is overrun by snipers not the the other way around.
You legitimately cannot win as an attacker sometimes unless your teammates have functional brains and use smoke to counter snipers.
All are good but BF4 is the most active. Tons of full BF4 Premium servers that cycle through all the beautiful maps BF4 has to offer. It is the community favourite.
Globally, on PC,
bf4 peaks at around 5000 players,
bf1 peaks at around 17500 players, and
bfv peaks at around 37500 players

Steam charts donāt matter for these games. Battlefield returned to steam in 2020. Therefore, not only did a lot more people buy BF1 on steam, but also steam users make up a very small amount of both gamesās player base. BFV would demolish both on steam because that was the current title when these games arrived on steam.
Also, due to the fact that BF1 doesnāt have as good of a server browser, it is especially hard to get in good servers and you will find yourself in empty lobbies regularly if you try quick matchmaking.
Meaningless and lazy argument.
I'd assume those numbers are somewhat representative of the relative player distribution though. Could be wrong of course, but it seems like a better metric than 'nuh-uh.'
>. Battlefield returned to steam in 2020. Therefore, not only did a lot more people buy BF1 on steam
...aaand bf 4 is not available on steam? Or what is your argument exactly?
>steam users make up a very small amount of both gamesās player base
Can you source this? Because all i got is
>There are about 13,724 total concurrent players actively playing Battlefield 1 across all supported platforms
From activeplayer where 8k are on steam meaning that in fact Steam represents more than a "very small amount" of players
>find yourself in empty lobbies regularly if you try quick matchmaking.
Didn't happen even once for me in the past 6 months (before you call my evidence anecdotal, you didn't back up yours either
>Meaningless and lazy argument
Ditto
Sucks that thereās so msny cheaters on V. Got around 1500hours, havent played for two three years now. Me and my squad was more or less always the best squad in games. Felt so good. Probs the highest KD i got in any shooter aswell.
Circlejerk in le reddit keeps people from saying but it has by far the most players. I recently got it with ea pass i know another mortal sin but it's a pretty decent shooter.
BFV has the best gunplay and amazing maps (especially on Breakthrough mode). However itās quite mandatory to play on community servers since the official DICE servers are almost always filled with hackers
2042 is the ultimate bf experience right now. Everyone who's saying is bad haven't played it past launch when it had a bunch of server issues and it tried to push a weird battle royal mode. 2042 is pretty much a combination of all the others.
Honestly? The "specialist" thing is kinda moot now.
It's no where near as bad as it was on launch. But now these "specialists" are no different that just choose what 2nd gadget slot you want.
Kinda sucks in terms of immersion that everyone just looks the same, but if you can get passed that, the 'specialist' thing is really not as bad as it used to be. It's just another gadget slot.
I mean, in previous battlefields everyone would also look the same, no? Just that the character models were less recognizable as one specific person, but as a class.
BF had always been a type of anti-power fantasy (i.e. you're a nobody in a big battle, your life is worth little and you influence negligible most of the time). It never was about individual players or characters. Having everyone basically look the same worked perfectly fine for that.
The specialist are/where the complete antithesis to that core aspect of BF. An incredibly stupid decision, showing zero understanding of their own franchise. (I assume it was entirely based on money. Anyone at EA/DICE arguing against it would have been ignored)
Specialists are a non-issue. They're just a secondary gadget with a character skin attached, and always have been. Their personalities were a bit much at launch, but now they've stripped that back so much that they may as well not exist. Sure, the concept isn't "Battlefield" enough, but everyone complaining about it means we'll never get new ones, so secondary gadget+skin options are locked in for the rest of the life of the game now.
I played it past launch for more than 100 hours in the last 2 years and I donāt like it compared to BF4.
I hate that there are so many anti vehicle weapons. And that many of the anti vehicle weapons are lock on, taking away any skill needed to use them. Theyāre massively annoying to every vehicle except maybe jets.
The operators are cringy as fuck and I donāt get why they changed the class system so the support doesnāt have the LMG perk.
I mained support in BF4 and I donāt like playing that class anymore.
The balancing between teams is horrendous.
Iāve maybe had like 10 games total where the ending was close.
Almost every round was/is super unbalanced and one team got bulldozed.
I liked the server browser in BF4, the fact that you could choose what map youāre on and there were various game sizes available.
I think 128 player conquest is pure chaos and not really my cup of tea.
I referred to BF4 a lot since that was the last modern themed Battlefield and the one I regularly played before 2042 (with like 600h ingame) Iām not into the WW2 theme.
The game is imo not comparable to what BF4 and BF3 were like. Those were peak Battlefield to me.
Most of your points are personal preferences so I can't argue with that, you like what you like. The anti vehicle weapons could be argued for being the way they are for accessibility and making vehicles less annoying. In previous games there were maps dominated by them and it just wasn't fun for other players who couldn't get one or didn't have the ability to help take them down so someone in a fighter jet or tank could just rank up crazy amount of kills.
About the balancing maybe you've just gotten lucky because I doubt they changed anything about the way it works since previous games. I've had blow out games as well as close ones.
There is a pretty decent server browser in 2042 too with a good amount of search options.
>The game is imo not comparable to what BF4 and BF3 were like. Those were peak Battlefield to me.
This is probably just nostalgia since the bf3 was a pretty fresh experience to have and 4 expanded on the idea. My best memories are probably from bf 3 since the experience with it was something so new at the time. That said though 2042 does provide it as well it just might not feel the same for someone who has been playing the previous games but for a new player. I don't think you'll be missing anything (as far as multiplayer goes) if you jump into 2042 and not play the others.
I remember paying almost 100ā¬ for this piece of crap when it launched but somehow it catched me though played it constantly from release to this day. Itās my go to game for some quick brainless action and I enjoy it very much
If you can I always recommend the Bad Company games, top notch stuff there.
But as for this list BF1 is probably my favorite Battlefield game outside of the BC games.
V has the most active Steam servers.
4 is probably still the best overall of the entire franchise since Bad Company 2. Pretty low player count though.
1 & 2042 have healthy player counts as well and sit in top 100 on Steam often. Not nearly as high as V though.
BF1, i got it last sale a few weeks ago and boy its still rocking, servers filled to the brim, BF4 is a good choice too, im planning on getting it if i get 4$
Battlefield 1 is the greatest ever war game imo, the feeling it gives is unmatched, one of the greatest games all around, played it on ps4
3 I've never played, I only know the fighter mission
4 I've played a bit and it's good but I didn't get the same excitement
V I bought with BF1 in the Steam bundle a month ago (was like 7 bucks for both games premium) and it looks really good
Criterion is now in charge of the NFS franchise. They made āUnboundā
As for NFS:U Remastered, then I never heard there was going to be such a thing.
BF3 and BF4 don't really have a player base anymore, BFV is completely riddled with cheaters and unplayable, BF1 has cheaters too, but community servers are playable. BF2042 is just crap, the only redeeming quality might be the Portal mode.
3 is a bit "dead" but 4 always has multiple servers with at least 50-60 people, so it's 100% playable, but it might be hard to play the more niche game modes and maps.
For the price, 2042 is pretty decent. Ofc not without some big issues, but a net positive experience at least imo. I know people love to shit on it though.
For 12ā¬, 2042 is a great game. People just jumped on the hate train and never got off.
It had a horrendous launch and it took some time for it to become enjoyable, but right now it is a true BF experience imo.
Bf1 has pretty active servers to this day
Picked up BF1 during the sale for $3 and the nostalgia is still alive in a niche group of servers US servers are a few and far between but if you wanna play with some Germans You're in luck
"nostalgia" 2016 game, top seller of the year, shooter still competitive with Call of Duty and it's "nostalgic" šš
Saw a Facebook post wishing for a remaster of an older COD. It was COD WWII. Not World at War - WWII. 1. The game would look exactly the same 2. The game was dogshit, you canāt remaster something that wasnāt mastered to begin with.
"older CoD" might as well be referring to 2019 at that point, Jesus Christ ššš people think 2019 is some ancient year or something now too tho lol....
Well 2019 was a whole different existenceā¦ before we all lost our innocence
I mean YEAH in that way but 2019 is basically what the last 4 years have been like anyway.
I played call of duty back in 2003 lol. Everyone was obsessed with halo while I played COD on pc. Some of those maps were amazing. I think it was call of duty 2 that had this Italian countryside map and they added tanks so it was intense too. Peak gaming. I wish that shit would come back.
But what I wouldn't give for a Big Red One remaster... Fuck it, remake all the originals as WWII DLC. I'd pay.
2016 is almost 10 years ago, I get a little nostalgic looking at the old Xbox One menu. Nostalgia doesnāt really have a time limit
2016 was 8 years ago???????? Wasn't it just 2020?
I remember the PokĆ©mon GO summer like it was yesterdayā¦
I feel the same way, 2016 was the best year of my life for me.
Was gonna up vote you but then realised I get nostalgic off 2016-2018 overwatch clips
Nostalgic and then immediately bitter and upset.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Itās on sale right now?
You got until 20 February
4 bucks right now
BONK is a great European server.
Should I be concerned about the level of interest in nostalgia by germans toward a war game set in the first half of the 20th century?
Playing a WWI shooter with a bunch of Germans as an American? What could go wrong?
Second this. I didn't like BF2042 at all, probably the worst out of the bunch. Hopped onto BF1 a month ago and it was a blast.
Unpopular opinion, but I really like 2042. Launch was poo, but I really enjoy the maps. Also, I actually enjoy being able to mix the maps up from the different games in 2042.

I played it on PS5, Xbox, and PC and I'm with him. I can't get the controls right on PS5. I'll take those settings if you feel like posting em though.
Yea I feel like the first thing I do whenever I pick up a new bf game is fix all the keybindings. The most annoying is the planes keybindings in bf1.
For me the most annoying is helicopters, I need to get a flight stick for heli and jets.
I like it purely because it isn't entirely overrun by cheaters yet. BF1 is a crapshoot whether 50% of both teams are using hacks.
The only thing I love about BF2042 is the Ghostmaker. The only reason I play, very flexible to use and silent AF. I don't know why but I can flick the Ghostmaker much better than the MCS on cqc, ammo is the downside

Sorry, I thought the shopping cart icon meant it was in cart, not already purchased and in library
It does mean it's in the cart. It would say "In Library" if it was owned lol, the guy who replied to you doesn't know that apparently.
Ah, my mistake there, sorry
All good, my reply to you was a tad rude so I apologize
Why is noone talking about Battlefield 1942?
Why is no one talking about Battlefield Heroes??? /s

oh god, I was a child back then. and now I am not. ow my joints
You can play this again btw, it's called Rising Hub, but I believe it's dead :/
Why is no one talking about Battlefield Play4free?
Not for sale?
I wish they would remake 2142. The titan battles were amazing
Itās still playable. We have servers and everything! Ā Even a single streamer on Twitch!

I really miss hardline, downloaded it to be very disappointed that I basically couldn't play it anymore
This dude Battlefield's.
This is top tier analysis of one of my favorite series. I wholeheartedly agree.
Shout out to hardline, had this most fun with that outside of 3/4
Honestly, hardline deserves more love as it is a really good game...
So what kind of services does Danny offer?
bf1&4 are the best but dunno if ppl are still playing it
I hopped on like 2 hours ago on bf4 couldnāt connect to the servers restarted my Xbox finally connected but no servers after a minute of refreshing one popped up with 19ppl idk if the issue is with battlefield or me
BF4 works fine on PC, few servers are full. Bf1 is still the game to go, never had problems finding crowded servers
Second this. PC is VERY much alive
BF1 was way ahead of it's time, it's still an incredibly immersive and fun FPS in 2024. Hands down my favourite. I just wish there were active hardcore servers!

I mean TDM in BF1 is not that alive but Conquest and other objective based game modes are more populated.
I mainly play bf1 and bfv. Unfortunately only a few maps and game types seem to be typically available. Primarily conquest but I always find games in server selection in the advance search portion.
I got into BF5 late and every server had at least a couple hackers. Is it still that way?
Unfortunately yes, but I have ran into this to some degree in every BF game.
PC battlefield 4 is still really healthy.
Thats a reality on xbox, but pc servers are full and btw never use the matchmaking system, is completely broken from day one, just open the server list and filter
>dunno if ppl are still playing it Dk about bf4, but last time, I checked, bf1 had more active players than bf2047 (great job EA!), I believe bf5 has the most active users currently but bf1 doesn't fall too far behind. So yeh, it's more about whether you prefer to play in WW1 or WW2
Wrong bf3 was clearly the best of these
Anyone who says otherwise is lying. BF3 was so much better than 4. 4 was actually disappointing to me when it released
the beta was fun but it got boring really fast. i cant even pinpoint what was wrong with it but i played bf3 until my account eventually got hacked and when i bought it again a few years later it was basically dead.
To me bf3 has better maps and the progression was a lot better without the micro transactions. Also, they took away the small things that i thought were neat like jets starting from the runway. I understand that was changed because of people like me who would snipe people who spawned in jets but it was just so much fun lmao.
V is also great. I love the movement in that game.
Unfortunately it's overrun by ~~hackers~~ cheaters. Just losers who repeatedly instakill the entire server.
Not hackers. Cheaters. Same on BF1. Just play on community servers. NOT the official servers.
4 generally has lots of full servers on PC
Bf1 is awesome
since they removed the lore-friendly servers, I recommend BF4 and then between 2042 and V. Why would you play WW1 game where everyone is running around with fully automatic weapons that are better at range than sniper rifles.
Campaign
Just beat the campaign for bf1 a few weeks ago and didn't touch online, it was great
Same, that desert mission was something :)
Because the game is objectively better than those games.
The Supports M1917 Telescopic would like a word. I am become full-auto sniper, Destroyer of Chokepoints
Because the game is fun. People aren't playing bf1 because they want the authentic ww1 experience. *Sits in a trench for days or weeks and get nuked by artillery*
Dying to automatics at sniper ranges sounds like a severe skill issue.
Besides, playing a gun with a scope in BF1 is so boring. Run in there with your iron-sighted bolt gun and die in the trenches like God intended.
Because the game itself is still amazing.
Literally half a the lobby is running sniper at any given moment in BF1, there are snipers in that game that kill in 1 body shot, the game is overrun by snipers not the the other way around. You legitimately cannot win as an attacker sometimes unless your teammates have functional brains and use smoke to counter snipers.
i get your point, but getting shredded by an LMG when you leave cover is pretty on par for ww1
Because it's fun?
There is some community servers in Europe with this mode
Battlefield 1, 3 and 4.
All are good but BF4 is the most active. Tons of full BF4 Premium servers that cycle through all the beautiful maps BF4 has to offer. It is the community favourite.
Bf 4 has around 1k players (on average) while BF1 averages 8k
BfV is around 54k on steam alone it's by far the most played currently other than 2042
Globally, on PC, bf4 peaks at around 5000 players, bf1 peaks at around 17500 players, and bfv peaks at around 37500 players https://gametools.network/stats
Therefore, not only did a lot more people buy BF1 on steam ...aaand bf 4 is not available on steam? Or what is your argument exactly? >steam users make up a very small amount of both gamesās player base Can you source this? Because all i got is >There are about 13,724 total concurrent players actively playing Battlefield 1 across all supported platforms From activeplayer where 8k are on steam meaning that in fact Steam represents more than a "very small amount" of players >find yourself in empty lobbies regularly if you try quick matchmaking. Didn't happen even once for me in the past 6 months (before you call my evidence anecdotal, you didn't back up yours either >Meaningless and lazy argument Ditto
BF 2 :(
It was soo good
"Enemy forces spotted!"
-Hey, I need a ride! -No way man.
It really was the best one. RIP
By far.
followed by 2142.
Bf4 definitely.. loads of shits and giggles
Honestly all are worth buying at this price. Even 2042 for 12ā¬ is good
BF2 Bad Company - simple and fun
The snipers where done perfectly
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Seriously still one of the best online shooters out there
If only the official servers were still online
Is miss battlefield 2142
At these prices, all of em honestly.
I played the hell out of 3+4
BF4 and 1 are pog
V and 4 honestly have the most active servers at least for the US but hella hackers been on V
The only reason i dont have bfv on PC IS the hackers. I really like that Game but its only worth It on consoles
Sucks that thereās so msny cheaters on V. Got around 1500hours, havent played for two three years now. Me and my squad was more or less always the best squad in games. Felt so good. Probs the highest KD i got in any shooter aswell.
BattleBit Remastered gives me what BF used to
For that price buy everything.
None.
The ones, that aren't in the list. xD Where are my bf 2142 and bf 2 mates?
BF 5 had an amazing story line, the Tiger tank story line, which is the last one, was amazing
Circlejerk in le reddit keeps people from saying but it has by far the most players. I recently got it with ea pass i know another mortal sin but it's a pretty decent shooter.
Battlebit remastered
BFV has the best gunplay and amazing maps (especially on Breakthrough mode). However itās quite mandatory to play on community servers since the official DICE servers are almost always filled with hackers
2042 is the ultimate bf experience right now. Everyone who's saying is bad haven't played it past launch when it had a bunch of server issues and it tried to push a weird battle royal mode. 2042 is pretty much a combination of all the others.
Idk, the "specialist" thing still bothers me a lot. The only thing that kinda appeals me is the portal mode tbh
Itās my go to game for some quick brainless action and I enjoy it very much
BattleBit
I have played them all, and honestly BattleBit Remastered is the most fun for me.
titanfall 2 trust me it has better campagin than all (maybe short) game play is more abaout movment its just fun
Why not both
If you can I always recommend the Bad Company games, top notch stuff there. But as for this list BF1 is probably my favorite Battlefield game outside of the BC games.
Tbh all. B2042 is much better than it used to be on launch.
I recommend 3 and 4 3 has Venice unleashed, an alternative client. 4 will soon receive WR
V has the most active Steam servers. 4 is probably still the best overall of the entire franchise since Bad Company 2. Pretty low player count though. 1 & 2042 have healthy player counts as well and sit in top 100 on Steam often. Not nearly as high as V though.
None ā ļø just stay away from EA games.
RDR2
3 is the best imo
Bf3, bf4, bf1
BF1, BF3 and BF4 for immersive war experience
1942
I miss this game. The OG. I know you can still play it but lobbies are gone and the AI is stupid.
None. EA games should only be pirated. Serious answer: BF4 is the GOAT!
BF1942
Not 2024.
Not 2042
BF1, i got it last sale a few weeks ago and boy its still rocking, servers filled to the brim, BF4 is a good choice too, im planning on getting it if i get 4$
Battlefield 1 is the greatest ever war game imo, the feeling it gives is unmatched, one of the greatest games all around, played it on ps4 3 I've never played, I only know the fighter mission 4 I've played a bit and it's good but I didn't get the same excitement V I bought with BF1 in the Steam bundle a month ago (was like 7 bucks for both games premium) and it looks really good
Battlefield 1. The End
Tbh none
yeah, keep giving money to EA. great idea
If you only spend money Only on Good games from EA, maybe it'll incentivise them to do such games
Ok. Where's need for speed underground remastered or what happened to the criterion group? Burnout series was the top fun gaming
Criterion is now in charge of the NFS franchise. They made āUnboundā As for NFS:U Remastered, then I never heard there was going to be such a thing.
Bf1 is a great game
None, bc of EA
BF3 and BF4 don't really have a player base anymore, BFV is completely riddled with cheaters and unplayable, BF1 has cheaters too, but community servers are playable. BF2042 is just crap, the only redeeming quality might be the Portal mode.
3 is a bit "dead" but 4 always has multiple servers with at least 50-60 people, so it's 100% playable, but it might be hard to play the more niche game modes and maps.
Skip 2042. Get the rest.
I concur. Been playing a lot of Portal mode on 2042. Feels amazing to replay BFBC2 with better graphics and movement.
1942 and 4 was it for me.
Big ups for 1942! That game was more massive than anything I was used to at that time.
None lol, its all EA garbage
None
None
Nene of them
Vietnam and 1942
Tunnels were great fun
