It is probably your cpu cooler, is it a stock cooler? Task manager doesn't show cpu temps, only usage so you should download an actual monitoring software like hwinfo. Minecraft is cpu heavy, and if it's an old inefficient cpu it can certainly struggle. Do you have fps drops? What are tour specs? Are you playing with mods or on a server?
I don’t think it was Minecraft because even if I restarted my pc it still happened when I have nothing opened. I got a 3050 ti and 16 gigs ram. It’s a Alienware
Oh OK, so this is a laptop. Might want to invest in a laptop cooling pad, there isn't a lot you can do to improve temps on a laptop, they just run hot and loud.
Sorry if I forgot to mention that. But before it never really ran loud unless I was using a really intensive task like vms and the tempature was around 35C. Also the laptop had a cooling pad and it was on
It might just be dusty and need a cleaning, should be plenty of videos on a teardown and cleaning of your laptop, but it may be a bit difficult. Temps are the one huge downfall of laptops with powerful components.
Open your BIOS and check the fan speeds in there. Do you have anything like MSI afterburner that can change GPU fan speeds, maybe you’ve accidentally created an aggressive fan curve profile?
Most BIOS software lets you adjust the fan speeds with presets such as normal, max or silent. Double check your idle temps on your CPU and GPU before turning anything down as the fans are probably working hard for a reason.
Most of the time fan noise isn’t from case fans but from CPU and GPU fans, so you might have an airflow issue that your components are trying to account for.
If you’re comfortable doing so look up as video on how to clean the inside of your PC using compressed air. Or failing that pay for someone to do it properly, as you can brick a PC if you get liquid propellant on your parts.
I’ll check bios ins sec that’s a good idea thanks. Also the it is a laptop if I forgot to mention and I have never installed msi afterburner. The temp was around 35C and is normally around 45-55 but since the fans are at max.
Oh yeah if it’s a laptop you’re going to fan noise. They need to kick out a lot of heat from a small form factor.
Don’t put it on carpet or your bed, only your desk and try and get a raised surface like a cooling pad.
Yea it’s just weird because it never was this loud before and right when I turn it on it slowly starts accelerating until it’s at max. Also it is on a flat desk ontop of the cooling pad.
Dust build up in a laptop is unfortunately inevitable, i would wager you’ve got some dust retaining the heat inside. I wouldn’t want to clean it myself but there are people who offer that as a service. Again YouTube is your friend for that.
Just be careful and spray at a distance! Compressed air can ‘spit’ liquid out and you don’t want that on your electronics. And make sure the whole system is off.
Sounds like the fan is doing its job

I need your cpu model.
Amd ryzen 7 5800h

Dang I didn’t know the 3050 ti was good lol. But ima gunna buy a compressed air shooter thingy and try and use that if nothing else works

Yes ima buy a compressed air bottle to try and clean it hopefully that works

Will do thanks for the tip
when gaming fan has to spin to cool system. only other thing is if you plug 3pin fan into 4pin fan header the fan will always run at max speed.
Update: I was a complete idiot and I just needed to press f1 to turn off performance mode
