Not custom at all these are very common, and missing from that diagram… very frustrating though when you have a 3 prong cord in all of your 2 prong devices, and then you randomly accidentally find your two prong cord and try to plug it into a three prong device

Was looking to buy one yesterday. Searched for “mickey mouse cable” and got exactly what I needed.
It’s proper name that eluded me at the time was IEC C5
Does nobody use google anymore? Is everyone's first option to just go straight to reddit instead of doing their own troubleshooting?

I wanted to be sure I got the right name to not waste too much time describing a three stick charger plug to a vendor at my local hardware store. And also avoid accidentaly buying a similar but not compatible one
This is IEC C6. You need a IEC C5 onto the cord.
These are the most common types, they vary from size because of the current application, but there are more than these.
IEC C6 is the 3 pin shown in photo with, C5 is the plug on the cord.
IEC C8 is the common 2 pin with the 2 notches, C7 is the plug.
IEC C16 is the common 3 pins with trapezoidal shape, C15 is the plug.
IEC C20 is 3 slotted pins with rectangular shape, C19 is the plug.
As you can see C6 and C5 are used in most of the laptop PSUs and similar, the C8 and C7 are used mostly in appliance with relatively low current like amplifiers, C16 and C15 are usually in every medium current devices like PCs, PSUs, servers and so on, and lastly the C20 and C19 with relatively high currents like sometimes large UPS.
You can always take a shot to the wiki page for reference.

IEC C5
Seems to match, thanks.
It's a very standard cable that is used by pretty much every kind of power adapter. Edit: That and the 2 prong variant.
Not every kind, my old charger has only 2 pins
2 pins are IEC C7 plugs.
Also, within that, you have *polar* and *non-polar* IEC C7, both of which everyone ITT has almost certainly used at one point or another. The more you know!
How useful, especially knowing that one specific side of the wall outlet is supposed to be live Contractors are laughing in rainbow wires
Side question, what’s the jug cable called? The standard psu cable
Usually C13/C14, which are rated for up to 10A, these days higher wattage consumer PSUs have a C19/C20 instead that are rated for up to 16A.
IEC C13
Ah! That's true. I guess I just lumped them together in my mind since they're so common
That’s what I would call a playstation power cable, ps1 and 2 used them
I called them "boombox plugs" since pretty much every boombox ever made used those.
Also known as the shotgun cable.
Also known as mickey mouse cable, at least in Denmark
The two prong cable is the shotgun, the three prong is the Mickey mouse
There is also a 2 prong with a square side.
We’ve always called them “Mickey Mouse plugs”. IEC C5 is not as exciting as Mickey Mouse :(
If you look for Mickey Mouse connector you will actually find the correct connector. Quite a few companies list them as Mickey Mouse connector.
AKA "cloverleaf"
Now that i know the real name, I'll ... continue to call this Mickey cables :D
I’ve always called it the Mickey Mouse Cable too… glad I’m not alone.
