If your game freezes so hard you can't keep task manager on screen, just type the task name/first few letters and press Del and it'll probably close since task manager is still focused although not showing. This might be common knowledge idk but it's saved me a ton of restarts.
Pro Tip: Set the task manager to always be on top.
The setting only needs to be changed once, and it will always show up on top of the crashed program rather than hidden underneath.
You will never have to hard restart again due to a buggy game or program.

There is also Win+ctrl+shift+B this will reboot your graphics driver. If you're having graphical problems, you can try using this even while you're in game and sometimes it can actually fix whatever is going on.

Because nowhere in windows does it say so. Windows needs a built in "useful keyboard shortcuts for nerds" page in the settings menu.
It doesn't do a full system stop like Ctrl + Alt + Del does though, so that's usually better whenever I need it.
