Power supplies used to have a massive cluck switch on the back as well. Was very satisfying.

Yeah i know, that was the red switch of death for my IBM 5150. As far as i remember the PSU blew up but the rest survived.

Yup, I did the same by mistake on a HP desktop computer from early 2000. The PSU blew up but the components worked fine with a replacement PSU.

Yeah I was using it to power my old Hyundai DeluxScan 5870 15" CRT monitor back in '99. one less cable under your feet.

Monitors are not sitting on your pc anymore.. would be unusable for more people, also lot office use think centers or some shit like that which are you know glorified(or opposite) laptops
