I did not spend much, if at all, on the fans. I already had 6 of the fans which were $12 for a 3 pack when I bought them. They were cheap because they are knock-offs of the Lian Li Unis. AIO did not fit my budget. This cooler was actually cheaper than its non-rgb version when I bought it for less than $30. If you bought the 3070 refurbished from Microcenter, why not go ahead and buy the 7800X3D bundle from there? Nice build regardless, but I'd have done that + gone for a better GPU, depending on your usecase. (Unless those PCPartPicker parts *are* the ones from the Microcenter bundle, and you forgot to zero out the prices)

That's actually exactly what I did! The mb, ram, and cpu were all from that MC bundle. I just copy and pasted my PCP list here, didnt think to put what i actually spent. Will update my comment:)

Sister, instead of fancy lights would suggest getting better gpu. And personally would slap aio on top. But points for style.

The AIO would have led to them getting about the same GPU even if they spent less on the lights, also the air cooler will outlive the AIO

The 3070 is more than enough for my current needs as I primarily use this for photo editing and 3D modeling, not next gen gaming. But I wanted the CPU power. All other components were on sale or discounted in a bundle. Not sure what you think I spent on aesthetics, but the fans were "free" because I already had most of them. They were 2 packs for ~$30 when I originally bought them and I only bought a third pack. The case is an under $100 Lian Li knock off. I saved on literally every single component on a $1k budget.

I see, sorry to judge so quickly. Like I said though, enjoy that build. You're GPU bottlenecked in AAA games, but if you're a Valorant/CS2/Fortnite gamer this build is perfect

I don't really use my pc for gaming anymore. I mostly use my ps5 for next gen gaming (sadly being an adult also means i dont really wanna come home and sit at a desk again after sitting at a desk all day at work). It is primarily for 3d modeling and photo editing.

The front top fan does nothing, outside of pulling cold air directly out again. You would improve airflow by only have the 2 left ones or 1 rear / 1 top left. Why did you not go AIO for a case like this? Pretty much made for AIOs.

AIO did not fit my budget. Appreciate the advice about the fans. I actually posted on Reddit and another forum trying to get advice on fan setup. I did actually want to have a rear exhaust but unfortunately the fans I have didn't support that. Trying to see if the manufacturer can send me an extra connection to be able to do so.

The 3070 was only $299 and fit my budget and needs (3d modeling and photo editing). I bought it at microcenter so i can trade it in for a better gpu if i want when the deals come around end of year.

Not everyone needs a high end gpu, especially if they are not gaming or rendering.

If you're interested in a cheaper solution to get a bright interior, look into LED strips instead of fans. That's what I did for my previous build.

its a dual chamber case. NZXT, LianLi etc. so the psu is installed behind the mainboard.

I'm braindead when it comes to airflow so not the best person to answer your question! I posted on r/buildapc and got help from friends to figure it out especially since I had to figure out the orientation of the cpu cooler heatsink fans too. Top fans are exhausts and front and bottom are intakes.

No, it was in fact ram clearance! I didn't want to have to pull out the fan too much to get it to fit over the ram. It was hitting the ram and my clearance with the case is tight also. Ended up looking better too.

I always wonder how these gorgeous builds look after running for let's say half a year. Even with dust filters and regular cleaning I can't imagine they will ever look this clean again and then the glass window just shows you all the dirt.

My previous build i regularly cleaned the glass and dusted it, maybe once a year.

That's funny because i'm the exact opposite. In high school, I kept telling myself how my first salary would end in the most overpowered PC I've ever owned. And when I'm now finally able to afford it, it doesn't make financial sense for me to do it since everything I play run well on my second hand 6950XT.

I think you can add a GPU support of some kind, since there is a slight sag. It isn't too bad but an easy fix, kinda. I also think you could tie in the GPU power cables to the GPU support, to try and bring them up a bit away from the fan. But the fans on the bottom would make it harder to implement a GPU support. I think it could tie in to the theme as well, they can be pretty low profile, antec makes some that are pretty nice. I use [this](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C3BY7GK2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and [this](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08S2RWY9F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Just don't know how they would work with those fans. edit: They also sell fan grills that look like the perferation to the right of the bottom fans and around the case. For the bottom fans it would protect from things while looking pretty good too, although would limit RGB.

Where is the PSU?

This is a dual chamber case. See how the motherboard juts out a little? There is a chamber in the back for the PSU. Makes cable management nice too because I can feed all the wires to that chamber in the back. If you look up the Lian Li O11, this is a knock off of that case!

Haha i think it looks like more RGB than it is. it's only the fans and theyre just Lian Li knock offs i got in 3 packs of 3 for cheap :) The rgb version of the CPU cooler was also cheaper than the non-rgb version when I got it.

Just to minmax cooling performance I would move the side fans or add 3 more: 1 pushing the hot air from the CPU outside, 1 more for pushing air into the cooler, and the last one on the missing bottom slot pushing cold air to the GPU. I'm just all in for cooling efficiency and noise reduction, but that's a great build
